We went through the drive thru here for dinner. The staff here were super nice. I got one of the combination plates with a crispy shredded beed taco and an enchilada. I also got a horchata to drink. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but it was worth the wait. When we got home we dug in. My horchata was sweet and I kinda wish they added a little bit of cinnamon. I had a bite of my boyfriend's carne asada burrito and it was delicious. There was a ton of carne asada in it as well as guacamole. My taco was really good. It was super crispy, although the beef in the middle was a little dry. The red and green salsa we asked for at the drive thru helped with that. My enchilada was drenched in red sauce and had a good amount of cheese filling and topping. There was way too much lettuce though, I feel like they didn't have to add so much. I ended up just moving it to the side. It also came with rice and beans which were both cooked perfectly. The beans were smooth and the rice had some veggies in it which was nice. My boyfriend's burrito also came with rice and beans which was a surprise. That usually doesn't happen at Mexican restaurants. I would definitely come here again and try something new. read more

Another reason Laguna Woods is such a great community! This longtime local favorite delivered a fantastic meal. The taquitos were absolutely delectable...crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The quesadilla special was outstanding, perfectly grilled and packed with delicious savory flavors. Even the kids' nuggets and fries were excellent, fresh, hot, and surprisingly tasty for a children's meal. Still the most solid choice for South OC Drive thru Mexican food. My kids love the bean & cheese burrito kids meals with fries and a drink (kids can even get the agua fresca with their kids meal) I like the carnitas mini tacos and their new Birria tacos with the dipping broth. I occasionally eat inside when I don't want my kids to make a mess of my car and it's always clean inside. Service is friendly and welcoming! read more

To the person who suggested getting a carne asada burrito and order red and green salsa, thank you. I did just that and it was DELICIOUS. The meat is a little salty but paired with the salsas, everything came together and was enjoyable to eat. The portion is very large and not bad for $15. The drive through went by very quickly. This is a review for catering Was extremely disappointed in the quality and the service. We ordered the small party pack and we did not receive the rice and beans. It was too far of a drive to go back and when we called they said they didn't make the rice and beans and it had been forgotten in the order. They didn't offer to resolve or give a refund until I asked. Our meats were cold. We did pick up later than our time slot but it wasn't even slightly warm. Decided to give Sabrosada another try. Overall good food which is consistent. However, they are still nickeling and diming guests. They are charging for drink refills, When they are charging $3 plus for a drink. Definitely not the norm for similar restaurants in the area or even Starbucks which all offer free refills of a simple ice tea. read more

They offer dine-in, walk-up ordering, and a drive-thru, but I prefer ordering inside. The staff is incredibly friendly and always has a positive attitude. This was my second visit. On my first trip, I tested their bean and cheese burrito with fries--as a huge fan of refried beans, this was the ultimate test, and they passed! But wow--was it worth it. When it arrived, I was honestly shocked. This thing was massive--the biggest burrito I've ever seen. My plan was to eat half for lunch and save the rest for dinner. Then I took the first bite... and all plans went out the window. It was hot, perfectly seasoned, packed with tender meat, and bursting with flavor. Hands down the best chili verde I've ever had. The specialty salsas took it over the top--they were fresh, balanced, and addicting. I ended up finishing the entire burrito in one sitting and didn't regret a thing. Bought cali burritos to go. When I got home I noticed they were made wrong. I called to let them know of the mistake. Easy fix right? Well nope. Guy who answered the phone was supper argumentative went back and forth for at least 30 minutes, until he finally agreed they messed up. Told me I could go pick up my burritos later in the day. When I called to let them know I was on my way I got another ma on the phone who was as incompetent as the guy who I spoke to in the morning. Horrible customer service! Food is way overpriced! WOW! Incredible food at a crazy low price and quick service. I wish that there were more high quality drive thrus. The interior is a little divey but the people are really friendly and the sheer amount of food for the price is crazy. Would expect this kind of service, quality and speed from a hole-in-the-wall sit down restaurant, but it's amazing that they are able to do this with a drive-thru and restaurant. After two trips while it's worth the money in some cases for example the fries the burritos at least what I've been tried have been a mixed bag. For the prices this place is aight but portions for value is not so good. I dont really like that the tortillas for mine have come cold at points and that the meat and salsa almost tastes burnt at points. Food is fine but service is now horrible. I used to frequent this place but this last experience will mean I will never return. The rude cashier gave me attitude yelling I have to 'wait your turn!' I don't appreciate getting attitude from a service provider. I ordered and waited to get an iced tea. She thought I was waiting to order more food. Although an an honest mistake, it seemed like they were trying to add to my order. This young woman was busy, I did not say anything at the time but I refrained from saying anything. When she called my number, she forgot to include a fork. As I needed a refill for the iced tea, I went up to the counter and said excuse me can I get a refill. She simply ignored me.
