Another great food truck choice for a company catered lunch! We figured having made fresh to order burgers/sando would be the best way to enjoy and kick off the summer of 2024. On a quarterly basis I plan for my company a food truck to come cater us lunch. Usually, I research and plan at least 1 month in advance before the event date. But this time around for Q2-2024 I didn't get to plan and book until the month of June. When I reached out to Sabroso, David the owner was very responsive & accommodating - even for our vegetarian requests. Portabella burger and veggie patty was available for them. As well adding on the side of "citrus slaw." We liked how our guests can make any burger/sando protein-style! On the day of the lunch event, all went smoothly. SMK came early to prep and we started serving lunch right on time from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Food was served in a very timely manner and service was outstanding. "The Guac-Attack" was the most ordered burger for it ran out faster than "The Smokehouse Burger!" I only got to try the latter and it was delish. Love the tater tots but the citrus slaw was ok. My non-vegetarian colleagues thoroughly enjoyed their burger/sando choices. The vegetarians loved the veggie patty but wasn't too thrilled about the portabella burger - said it was too much portabella. Many got seconds! Great communication with the staff for they kept me posted on the lunch counts. Wrapping up and making the final payment was easy-peasy. Invoices was provided as well. Jonathan and his team set up a pop up stand, and made delicious tacos for us; both chicken, carne asada and carnitas as well as portobello mushrooms. They had sides, salsas, all tasty! They were at our BSA Scout-o-Rama event, grabbed a tri-tip breakfast burrito and was pleased enough to see if Yelp had food truck review options. :) Burrito was large and tasty, the truck is clean, and the food was served hot and the service was quick! Our apartment complex brings out a food truck once a month, and tonight was Sabroso- and while all the trucks are delicious, today I downloaded the Yelp app and decided to leave my first ever review. I hade the Honey Chipotle Pulled Pork sandwich, and it was easily the best pulled pork sandwich I've eaten in my 32 years of existence on this planet. My girlfriend had the "Totchos" and took one look at the box and nearly started crying from the incredible amount of food. She's eating as I write this, absolutely loving it. We can't put into words how amazing and perfect your team was at our wedding. Top notch service and very delicious food. I found Sabroso Mobile Kitchen through a website for an event I hosted. Received a quote from them 2 weeks before my event and decided to go with them. Couldn't be happier with my choice. David was very accommodating of the change I needed to make the day before the event. I originally had informed them that the event was for 40 people. I ended up having at least 50 people and I told David the night before. He said no problem. Turns out, not only did 50 people show up, but a few people went back for seconds and he was able to cover those too! Food was SUPER delicious. Everybody was in love with the tri tip and the BBQ chicken legs. Mac & Cheese was a hit, too. And for those who don't eat meat, they have BBQ Jackfruit as an option as well. Caught Sabroso! Mobile Kitchen at Alosta Brewing on a Friday night. Got the Tri Tip grilled cheese, and a regular "kids" grilled cheese. Prices were good and so were the portions. Cheese is run of the mill- probably big bulk blend from Costco or restaurant depot, nothing special whatsoever. But the grilled cheese itself was good. Buttery and cooked perfectly. Had the best meal with Sabroso Such unique combinations of flavors. I had the ribs and my wife had the pulled pork. I don't normally eat from food trucks or kitchens but we were hungry and so glad that we did. My wife didn't want to share with me but eventually we worked out a compromise.
