A two star review means "could've been better." I think their vegetarian tacos could certainly be way better. Big ol' hunks of unseasoned zucchini in a soggy corn tortilla. Overall pretty gross and unappetizing. It's funny, a veteran chef can season and cook meat at an expert level, but given the task to cook a vegetable dish and all culinary finesse goes out the window. Slap together some plain vegetables, and there you go. Seems like an afterthought. My apartment complex sent us an email that they would be at our location tonight. They gave us a phone number we could either text or call to place our order. I texted in my order and they took so long to just confirm. The food was blehhh! I literally took a bite of the "carne asada" which is basically beef without seasonings and a lot of oil that should have been drained & threw it up. I couldn't even swallow. I was excited to try their mulitas. The service was friendly and accommodating. The gregarious guy behind the register suggested adding asada and pastor to my mulita. Sure! I was a bit underwhelmed by the actual dish though. It wasn't bad, but I've had better in the past. The mulita was quite greasy, which is to be expected given the Oaxaca cheese. Some grease paper to absorb the excess would be helpful. My chief concern was everything was quite cold. Everything was cooked, but the temperature of the final dish was cool. The mulitas I've enjoyed in the past from elsewhere (sadly, it is closed now) were always piping hot. That's after being picked up at the truck and brought back to the office.
