Ceviche de pescado, ceviche de camarón y taco gobernador.
    Lucy O.

Such a good spot for mariscos! I really liked this mariscos truck. I had the ceviche de pescado, ceviche de camarón and a taco gobernador. I enjoyed everything but my favorite was the ceviche de camaron. It was so fresh and flavorful. They also give you a good amount of ceviche and add avocado. The service was great. I recommend getting the food to go since there's nowhere to really sit comfortably. I'm glad there's a place like this that I can go to when I get a craving for quality ceviche and mariscos.

Oh my god. First time at this food truck and I am absolutely blown away at how delicious the food is. It's a food truck on a side street. They do seafood instead of the usual meats. I got a shrimp taco and two tostadas, one shrimp ceviche and one octopus. First of all, even in a to go order, the presentation was beautiful. Now for the ultimate test, the food. AMAZING. I will tell you right now this was better than many of the sit down, fancy places I have been to. Huge portions of shrimp ceviche and octopus for the tostadas. The shrimp taco had three huge shrimp that were lightly fried, with the perfect amount of cabbage and sauce. The tostadas came with a huge pile of tortillas and each at least 8 oz of both the ceviche and the octopus. Flavors are spot on and tasty. All topped with a generous serving of avocado. I am so happy and full right now. Tacos and tostadas can also be therapeutic you know. I'll be back for more of those tacos!

Drove by this truck plenty of times. Finally opted to try it as I had cash in my pocket and I didn't want to get bummed by Jimenez nearby. The ladies inside were friendly and spoke English or Spanish. They take digital money, cards or cash. I think there's $1 fee if it's not cash. It's also right next to a bank with an atm if needed. The fish tacos were delicious. They were packaged well for walking back to the office. The thin lighter colored salsa was so hot but it had such a good flavor. First hit with citrus, then garlic, then heat a little heavy on the cabbage but I'd rather have more than not enough. $10/3. I want to try their Gabernador tacos for $11/3. No where to sit but there is a nice tall parking structure curb. And it's covered if it's raining. Definitely going back. Definitely recommended.

    Cocteles camaron campechana

Don't let the plain, shady-looking truck fool you -- the food is LEGIT. Tried it for the first time after seeing their Instagram page, and it was definitely worth it! Bought a cocteles camaron campechana and a botana mixta and they were delicious. I ordered the coctel first. It wasn't runny and just full of liquid like you get at a lot of places; this had a lot of pieces of food in it. Yes, there are crackers provided if you want to make the consistency even thicker. It was flavorful and very filling. I came back to grab a botana mixta at the recommendation of a regular of theirs. It came with tostadas on the side, but I didn't bother eating those. There were so many pieces of shrimp and the slices of avocado added to the mix. I think I overate between both items, but they were just too good to waste. I tried a little bit of the hot sauce they had, but it was just muy caliente and it took away from the food's flavor. The people running the truck were super nice and answered my questions. This is definitely a best-kept secret that I will be coming back to.

Pidanse esta campechana con ostiones cuestan un poco mas pero vale la pena

It's not always easy finding good plant-based options at traditional spots, but they actually have a nice variety to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant is downtown so the parking isn't great but it's worth it. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're craving Mexican food and still want satisfying plant-based options. There's plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. Food came relatively quickly as well for all of us, and drinks came out right away. Wait was maybe 5-10 minutes but all the food was freshly made! FOOD: They don't have too big of a menu, but that's not bad. I tried the carne asada, el pastor, and the mushroom tacos + queso tacos. The tacos were a lot bigger than larger tacos, coming at roughly $4 per taco. I would recommend the queso tacos because i LOVE cheese but the regular tacos are good. The quesadillas were very filling and there was a lot to them as well if you want something that'll fill you up more than a taco. SERVICE: Service was good. Everyone who helped us was very nice. PARKING: There is street parking and parking lots around the area for you to walk in--all of which are paid parking. You can use an app for the lots or use coins for the street parking. I've gone here during the day and night and I haven't had any issues with parking at all. INTERIOR: The interior is very simple: warm tones with benches. If you have a big party, you most likely will have to split up between multiple tables. For us, a party of 10, we divided it between 4 and 6, though the 6 was a tight fit. BATHROOM: Clean. Nothing crazy when I went there. I'm pretty sure you can use the bathroom too even if you don't buy anything. LOCATION: This place is in downtown Santa Ana, so there are a lot of shops for you to look around, eat at, or shop at if you go during the day. Very fun to eat tacos here and then go on a walk afterwards :)) TLDR: A very good taco spot to go eat if you want good tacos. They're open till 10pm weekdays and midnight on weekends as well. Decent variety that's fresh and very flavorful

We were able to find a small table, not too far from the front counter. Ordering at the front was easy. The staff was friendly and quick. We could see the cook grilling up the meats as we placed our order. There were at least five different salsas to choose from as well as cucumbers and a chili oil at the self-serve salsa bar. I noticed a customer in front of us ordered a kids plate which included two street tacos and rice and beans. That's what I ended up ordering with Carne Asada and chorizo. There were four or five proteins to choose from for the kids plate. I loved the grilled meats with the char flavor. It was delicious! Everything was well seasoned. The burrito was solid sized, I was definitely full after eating it. Great seasoned potato wedges inside, tasty egg, and plenty of bacon and sausage. Only thing with the bacon and sausage was that the bacon was actually bacon bits. I'm pretty sure they are pre bagged bacon bits, judging by the extreme salty taste...they overpowered the sausage inside so all I was really getting was bacon bits. There was supposed to be chipotle mayo inside as well, but I don't think mine had it. Or it was also overpowered by the bacon bits. Burrito was grilled on both sides and wrapped up nicely. By the time I got it, it was still super hot. The green and red salsas are also delicious.

I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot.
