Fantastic Fish ceviche!!! I follow a gentleman on IG and Tiktok that goes by the name Birdskitchen, he's straight to the point with his food content. I love that! He posted about Mariscos El Tiburon and I saw how their fish ceviche looked and it was reminiscent of my favorite truck in Commerce named Mariscos El bigeton. Their fish ceviche weren't big chunks, they were like these little balls of fish, so good! So since their ceviche looked like theirs and I didn't have to be in LA for it, I jumped in the car so fast LOL. The truck is off a side street but not exactly on 5th, its in a neighborhood facing Saranitas tamale factory. Thank God I had my eyes peeled. I pulled up, great service! I ordered 2 fish ceviche tostadas, an El Jefe taco and of course had to see what their carne asada was working with. Everything made fresh to order. Got home ans opened that bad boy up. The owner was so sweet and threw in an extra El jefe taco. They're HUGE and loaded with shrimp, fish, pico de gallo, cabbage and a sauce. If you reheated the fish component in an airfryer, omg made a perfect bite!! Definitely eat that there or reheat in the airfryer with the cold components off to the side and top when done. The carne asada taco, also loaded and super fresh! I could use a little more bristle on the meat. I love a fatty carne asada HA! The ceviche was excellent !!! So fresh, he loaded me with avocado as I requested. It literally tasted like my loved El Bigeton :) I will come back to this truck easily when the fish ceviche craving hits. I can't wait to try their Aguachiles next! Definitely give them a try! read more

Perfect way to spend Mother's Day. No crowd or lines, just delicious food. Quick tip, this place is cash only- though they do script Zelle. Service is so helpful, ordered our meal for there didn't finish everything they packaged the rest to go and gave us more tostadas to go. The address it'll give you on maps is different, we found them on 2304 W. 6th in Santa Ana. We ordered ceviche de cameron, agua chiles, and tacos el jefe. It did not disappoint. The coca colas were ice cold, but if you have napkins on hand bring em out, there weren't any out. read more

watched one video about this truck on instagram and immediately went out to try it as it's so close to me. it's super casual with some plastic stools and their truck has a steel counter for you to eat on and the gentleman/chef was so sweet. but wow!!! my boyfriend and i were blown away with how gooddd everything was! their seafood was so fresh and even their fried/cooked ones were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the fish was flaky and the shrimps were juicy, and the chipotle sauce they add on their tacos is so yummy! heads up it is cash only, but they do offer zelle too. with everything pictured + an ice cold coke in the glass bottles it came out to $45. id say well worth it! i will absolutely be back here and can't wait to recommend them to others as well! read more

Everything was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The aguachiles had the perfect balance of heat, lime, and seasoning -- spicy, refreshing, and loaded with fresh shrimp and Scallops. The ceviche de pescado was just as impressive, super fresh and full of flavor with the perfect citrus kick. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. I was craving seafood tacos from this place. So I arrived in the afternoon at order window. Staff was busy cooking/working so took them a minute to acknowledge me. I ordered 3 Tacos El Jefe and a Squirt (bottle) = $20. Tacos were good, but I remember them tasting better. Maybe they need more of that chipotle sauce and/or the female cooks did it better. Yesterday the cooks were men. They have a good variety of salsas and hot sauces. They are located near 5th ST & Haley. I might come again when in the mood. read more

I ordered the Bonata Caliente and althought it was very good, super flavorful. For how expensive it was, the fake crab meat was confusing to see. The tacos el jefe were pretty good as well. Overall the food is tasty, just be sure to have a decent amount of cash. read more

I was staying at a nearby hotel and looked for a place that was dog friendly. I happened to find this seafood food truck and immediately considered it. I saw the photos and the 5 reviews and I was sold. I bought 4 tacos El jefe and 2 fish tacos. The total was $21. There are no prices listed on their menu so I was a little surprised at the total. But, if the food was as good as advertised it would be worth it. Well, the food was just okay at best. It definitely wasn't bad but not worthy of five stars. Both items were forgettable. The seasoned lacked flavor, and while the fried was crispy and flaky, it too had very little flavor. The fried taco shells also felt a little stale. Each plate comes with a small packet of salt. I'd suggest you use it. Their taco truck and the surrounding area was dirty too. Flies in and outside of the truck, it was a little unsanitary. read more

One of my all time favorite food trucks ever! I used to come here as a kid, back when it was a restaurant and this truck was parked outside for food to go. Not much has changed which is a good thing, consistency is key! That first bite of a very fresh ceviche de pescado tostada with avocado brings back so many timeless memories. The service is always awesome, you get treated like family. Give this place a try if you like fresh mariscos, they serve really great shrimp tacos, coctales, & tostadas. Was driving around seen this place with good reviews n seen it had only one $ so I was like okay should be decently priced got 4 tacos and what I was thinking was a decent sized shrimp cocktail ended up being a very small cocktail it was smaller then a medium sized so just the 4 tacos and small cocktail and a soda was $32 I was like wtf! Then asked to upgrade to a large cocktails obviously it was gonna cost more money I get it cool $6 more ok fine I taste the cocktail no flavor at all this was the worst cocktail I've ever had anywhere very disappointed even adding lemon salt and Chile made it barely passable to eat and the shrimp tacos where like frozen butterfly shrimp they just chopped the tails off and cook em spent 40$ in total way to expensive and food was nasty idk where y'all say it's good read more

I LOVE this place. Their tacos are so good and the ingredients they use really balance each other out. The tacos el jefe (with avocado included!) was one of my favorite dishes and the fish tacos were yummy too. The ceviche was okay but we got it to go so it's probably better if you stay to eat since they don't have to separate the dish. They were quick and efficient in getting our food ready after we ordered. I would definitely recommend and come back here again. read more

Eat here about once a week. This is the go to truck when I'm craving seafood. Usually get vuelve a la vida, tacos el jefe, ceviche de camaron and ceviche de pescadero, oh and the consomme de camaron. His food is always on point and tastes so good. This is one of the only seafood food trucks that you dont need to add any flavor to the food it always has just what you need. Stopped in for the first time yesterday after lunch and there was still people getting food and ordering. Evidently these guys are very popular. I ordered the popular el Jefe tacos and wow! They are delicious! Fish and fat shrimp with crunchy slaw and a really yummy sauce. It comes with 2 tacos and trust me...those will fill you up. The truck was easy to find and the people were very polite. I know very little Spanish but the gentleman took his time to explain what was on everything and the prices are very reasonable. Santa Ana has the best seafood to offer. Correction: "Mariscos!" The seafood cocktail (shrimp, crab, & octopus) is the anchor food I was introduced to, and brings me back, year after year. It's prepared perfectly but sometimes I add some ketchup - it's my thing - and always add some Tapatio. Another staple, inexpensive, and powerhouse delicious Bomb S is the Ceviche Tostadas. The shrimp ones are good but if you like fish, you can't beat the "Fish Ceviche Tostadas." You're Welcome. A seafood palette grows, explores, and can appreciate different flavors. You can't go wrong with anything they serve. Like other post, El Jefe Tacos kill. A new addition to the menu - last few years - and my wife's favorite. The owner used to have a restaurant right accross from his truck. The food is really clean. One of the only places I trust eating oysters from. The tostadas the ceviche de pescado, Camaron, and mixta are all really fresh and delicious!! Never had their mexican good as I mainly come here for their seafood. Just recently tried their casuelitas and theyre are delicious. Its a mixture of jaiba, ceviche, shrimp, pulpo all in a tostada!!! The owner is always very friendly!
