He never showed up! Unfortunately, I agree with several other reviews here that the handyman never showed up at the agreed upon time. The time was agreed upon via phone, and confirmed just the day before over text. When the window passed, I texted and called to check in and never received a response. He was a no show. Honestly, I am surprised at the lack of professionalism. If a businessperson cannot show, they should certainly inform the client. I recommend folks look elsewhere for handyman services. read more

They came out last June to replace the side door in my garage. That went great and the door seemed to work fine. However, during the winter the door got very difficult to close and I saw that there's a shim in the door frame that pushes it into the door and blocks it from closing easily. Over the last few months I've called and emailed several times to ask them to come out and see if they can fix it and they haven't responded at all. I wasn't belligerent or impolite at all and I didn't demand that they fix it for free or anything. I'm not sure if they've gone out of business or what? This review is my last attempt to get a response before I reach out elsewhere to get this fixed. read more

They scheduled me for an afternoon appointment. He showed up at the exact time the appointment window opened. The repair was a simple fix, but they charge by the hour so the repairman and I walked around the house and fixed a bunch of other small things that needed repair. It was really nice that he went the extra mile to turn a 10 minute service call into an hour of work since that's what they charged for! read more

Bottom line-- DO NOT CALL THIS GUY!!! I took an entire day off work because I had an appointment scheduled August 24 -9am, with Sacramento handyman to install my new baseboards in a few rooms of my house. I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks out because he had nothing sooner.. First red flag- he shows up 15 minutes late to our appointment.. My husband welcomes him in and shows him around the rooms we wanted new baseboards in and he stops him mid sentence and says " You guys seem too picky for my taste and if I don't nail your baseboards exactly level I don't want to get called back to fix it so I'm going to have to pass on this job" Excuse me? You don't want to do your job right? If I'm paying you to install baseboards I'd assume you would at the very least nail them in level!!! This guy admitted he does half a** work and doesn't want to be called back to fix anything.. Well good riddance.. I'll call someone who actual takes pride in their work and doesn't waste my day off work for an appointment just to walk off the job! read more

On 01/03/2023 at approximately 902 AM in the morning I contacted this company for a emergency call out to inspect my wooden fence. At first the receptionist stated they can come out on Friday. I told her because of the condition of the fence I needed assistance on 01/03 . The representative checked and stated that they could come out on 01/03 between the hours of 3-4 Pm. At approximately 410 PM there was a no show. I contacted them and the representative stated they were finishing up and they would be by. At approximately 425 PM she texted me that they could not come to my residence. But she quoted their prices. I asked WHY didn't they tell me this earlier. I contacted them early in the morning so if they couldn't do the job I would look elsewhere This company is dishonest, unprofessional and doesn't care about the customer. And the representative again stated Sorry and that they could come out on Friday. If a true professional gets to a job and with his experience sees that he would be-delayed would it be in their best interest to notify their customer. I waited at my residence from 2-4 PM waiting for this company to show up. They did not. It seems this is a fly by night flakey organization that should not be trusted. I am pretty sure that never intended to respond to my request. They never saw my fence but stated they could fix it on Friday in two hour. VERY Shady. I will contact the Better Business Bureau and other organizations to just tell them of my terrible experience. read more

I called to arrange for an appointment to estimate dry rot work on my exterior. I was told I would receive a call back, which I did not receive. After contacting again, Mo finally arrived and inspected the work to be done. He said he would be back to me within the week. I never heard back, so I called the number on a business card and reached his "boss" Tommy, who also said I would hear back with an estimate. Finally, I received a text with an estimate, which I accepted and asked for a start date. I did not receive an answer, so I texted again. Still no answer....guess they're just too busy, so I'll try someone else. read more

The handyman who came was polite and took his time to get the job right. I was very happy with how good the repairs looked and the excellent service! We started using this company for lawn maintenance. We quickly found out they did a lot of other work. The painting and window cleaning jobs had successfully been put off but were needed. We got Handyman to do those. In the meantime a windstorm blew down a section of our back fence. Sacramento Handyman was able to handle all our requests promptly and efficiently. They are now our "go to" people when faced with home maintenance issues. Their workmen completed each job neatly and on time. read more

The reason I am not giving Frank 1 star is because he had helped me install tvs in my home. He did a good job. He talked a little to much, but he got the job done. I thought he would be good for recommending him to other people....but I reached out to Frank a couple weeks back to help with a installation of a door. He claimed he had over 40 years of experience and he quoted me a good deal. Well now I had needed his help I had called and left 2 messages and no return call back. I gave Frank a week to respond, so I ended up finding another door guy that quoted me a even better deal and is a actual contractor. Zero stars. Horrible. Called on 9/18 to have a small job done. They scheduled me for 10/3 at 11am. They text me on 9/25 and say "can we change TOMORROWs appointment to 5pm?" And I say "what appointment tomorrow? You scheduled 10/3 at 11." They say "can we schedule 10/3 at 5pm?" Sure. No problem. 10/3 at 5pm comes and goes and the guy is a no-show. I call them the next day and they have no idea who I am, what I originally scheduled for or anything. I tell her that she rescheduled with me and she asks who did! She did! It's almost like I dialed the wrong number or something. She asks what I needed to have repaired and then says "oh the guy who does that work was in a bad accident, broke his face, and was transported to Los Angeles." Now if that's true, that's horrible and he has my sympathies, but what the heck is the purpose of her job. Sounds shady. I thought to myself "what the heck, did I read the reviews right?" But then I looked again on yelp and google and this is becoming standard operating procedure for this company. Enough of my rant. I like to work with the small companies, but if you need something done, get a professional. Your time is to valuable to risk it on this company. read more

We had a leak in our roof from one of the rain storms this season. I called around and all the estimates were - literally - through the roof. I called Frank and he was really responsive. He came out and looked, gave a very reasonable quote. We also needed new fans for the roof. He told me what to get and didn't mind when I texted him while at Home Depot to ask for more specifics. We had an entry door kicked in, cracking the door and frame. Lowes and Home Depot couldn't install a replacement door for at least 2 weeks, so I called Sac Handyman. She said Frank could do it in 2 days. I spoke with Frank on the phone to learn that he has been doing construction his whole adult life and that he has repaired damage like this many times. I picked up the door at Lowes, although Frank had offered to pick it up and bring it out. He came out at the time scheduled and was done in the time estimated and for the agreed upon price. After he left I noticed that the door latch wasn't always catching when shutting, so I called him and he came right back out and adjusted it so it was working perfectly. I will certainly consider Sacramento Handyman for any future needs. read more
