I needed four tires for my beater up Lexus ES350. I didn't need race tires nor top of the line tires. The manager did not try to up sell me nor try push a needless insurance policy on me. I got four tires good for 40,000 miles. Here's why deserve a six star rating; they did it immediately. No excuses of how busy they were nor seeing your car sitting idle with no action around it. The manager chipped in and helped mounting the tires. I was so impressed I had him do an front end alignment. The whole thing cost 581 and change was totally reasonable price wise. I live in Sacramento all my life I have been going to this place for many years from what I've observed there are two guys that work here at this location on Florin Road one guy does most of the work and is very reliable and is an all-around great guy. The other guy tries to hustle you sell whatever he can and shoot you out of your money example The good guy that works there he'll install parts that you bring in and he will give you a good deal no problems He will also inspect your vehicle and not lie to you. The other guy he will tell you you need brakes when you don't tell you you need rotors when you don't tell you they don't install parts from other places you have to buy theirs The point is in these times with all the chaos we have going on Nobody has time to play games with anybody when it comes to service and or money unfortunately there is a guy that works there that is really decent I think he should look for another job or go somewhere else because the other guys really screwing it up for him Unfortunately I have to give this store a fail It's just nobody has time for all the BS you may go there and the guy that is good will give you good service at a reasonable price but then the other guy who works there is going to try to hustle you just save yourself the time and go somewhere else This place isn't worth my time effort or money and I will never return or contact him again and I will be deleting their contact information from my phone I contacted them today to put in a starter He quoted me a great price of roughly $100 to put it in But then he came with the BS you have to buy our parts $185 I'm like okay you left understand you're not the only mechanic shop in Sacramento Now go soak your head Hope this has been informative If you go to this shop only go there if you need to fix the flat tire or get a plug or a patch or something like that If you need actual work done to your vehicle probably best to go somewhere else read more

I went to the dealership to get my routine oil change and they advised me there was a nail in one of my tires and it needed to be replace ASAP. The cost was approx. $400 for 1 tire plus installation as well. I thought that was ridiculous. My two front tires needed an update so I called Tire Pros based off recommendations from other customer at dealership. William picked up the phone and was extremely helpful and professional. He ordered my tires and I was in shop the next day. It took them about an hour to install and align my car for me. Both William and David was courteous and friendly. I appreciated their honesty as well. They checked all my tires and brakes as well. They advised me there was no nail in my tire like the dealership said. I could have lost out on so much paying for one tire! I'm so thankful for the other customer listening to my conversation at the dealership. After waiting for almost 3 hours. I finally got my CV axle replaced. The next day... I began hearing funny noises (common noises of a failed axle). Sure enough, when I brought it in. I was told its bad. Replaced... Another 3 hours waiting. Finally as I leave. I begin to hear the same sound! I bring it back and they claim my car being lowered and having aftermarket wheels is causing this... Uhhhh.. I had the factory axle with all that stuff for 3 years no problem. Just coincidence that 3 axles keep failing me. After arguing I get it replaced and am told "it's the LAST axle we will install" so much for lifetime warranty right? Anywho.. Weeks past.. And I noticed transmission fluid under my car. I took it to another shop. I was told the CV was installed incorrectly and a seal was ripped with a tool. I was even shown the tool marks they left on my transmission.... Avoid this place for CV axles. I can't believe I spend damn near 12 hours waiting for nothing.. Oh and the last time I was there.. I was the first to arrive. Yet they had me wait like a damn fool. Screw this place. Go to Autobahn performance down the street! EDIT: ironically they went out of business. Again. read more

I have been a long time customer, Dave who runs the shop is always extremely helpful and Knowledgeable. When I purchased my car I went straight to them and they looked over my entire vehicle so that I would have piece of mind. I have had my brakes and rotors replaced by them, I purchased a new set of tires installed and balanced, they have replaced smog sensors for me, I get my oil changes there, these guys are the best and they always take care of me and in the future if I have any problems I am heading straight to them. My husband just called me fuming mad. He recently needed four tires dismounted and new tires mounted for his race car so he went to Tire Pros. Assuming the dismounting and mounting went well (no one mentioned the wheels were scratched), he didn't inspect the wheels before they were loaded in his truck. Last night while prepping for this weekend's race, he noticed all four wheels were scratched on the inside. This morning he called Tire Pros to tell about what happened. Gary answered the phone and told my husband, "What do you want me to do about it? We don't take responsibility for damaged wheels, and we can't do anything for you." Tire pros on florin rd. gets a five star review. I went through two years of highway vibration. I own a 2000 Trans Am . I am more knowledgeable than most and still went through this. The other tire shop who I will blast separately for their horrible customer service and dishonesty , sold me a complete set of sumitomos. They had me rebalance , no luck. They had me go order hub centric rings. Come back no luck. Balance again , no luck. I was going crazy. After a year and a half goes by,I believed I had another issue. Plus in that time doing a ton of my own suspension work that made no difference in the vibration,I took it to another place, balanced for free , no luck, they said I had a bent rim. I went to the tire pros, they road force balanced mine for free. Turns out I had two bad tires. Out of round. I was going to by new rims. They saved me from that. And they got the most balance out of the crappy tires I had till I could afford new ones. Best deal I could get. Good year F1 , I couldn't find a better deal online. Can't recommend them enough. We were traveling from Utah to California when we heard the grinding noise on our breaks.. we just got brand new tires in utah and they told us they did a brake check and they all passed. Well... they lied and our breaks were metal to metal. The tire pros guys were extremely helpful and really professional. They checked our breaks and gave us a great deal on replacing them. I give them 5 stars only because that's as high as it goes on this site. I have gone thru numerous auto shops over the decades. I recently had to get two new tires and found them. To my delight Will told me that my tires (all four) are to be rotated gratis, even though I only bought two of them. They put a reminder sticker on my windshield too. I just got my oil changed today with a reminder sticker as well. My Honda lets me know when I get to 15% to change the oil as well. I am a loyal customer forever! Thank you Will! read more

Took my car here several months ago because my steering wheel was cocking slightly to one side after getting some new tires (generic brand) from another tire store. I have taken my car to two alignment shops before taking it to tire pros. One of them said I needed a camber kit, the second said it was my steering rack that needs to be replaced. I thought maybe I just needed to take my car to someone who knew what they were doing. I took it to tire pros upon taking the advice from a friend who recommended them to me. When I got there, my car was promptly taken for a test drive. The mechanic came back after 5 minutes and notify me it's the tires. He didn't go further into details, but he quickly walked back into the shop and I stood there in a little confusion. They weren't super busy, but they had a few cars. So I could understand a little bit. Well, the thing is, my tires were literally brand new, although it was a generic brand, I thought it can't be. Hell to me tires are tires as long as they are new. right? can you blame someone who's not much of a car person? So I think it's fair to say that it would had been nice if the mechanic took a little time to go further into details. Would be nice if he given me a suggestion. I would had probably been able to refund my tires then. Instead I drove it for several months with the daily annoyance of a crooked steering wheel (even after I rotated the tires around to no success) It wasn't until recently I was able to purchase a set of new, this time, name brand tires, and WA-LAAA my car's handling was awesome, and my stubborn steering wheel was cooperating again, finally. Tire Pros was honest, but like I said, it would had been nice if I was given a little more attention and given a suggestion what I should do. I know that's not necessarily their job, but hey, someone who's not a car guy like me, we're going to be skeptical of a lot of things, so if a business wants your business they should earn your trust. right? Nonetheless, I with my new tires, I will be getting a wheel alignment done soon, and I will bring it to tire pros. I just havn't done so since my car seem to be handling and running fine. I am pleased with my experience today. I called Tire Pro, Les Schwabb, and the Ford dealership to get a quote on a new tire for my 2013 Ford Escape. Schwabb was $111 higher than Tire Pro! That's one hundred eleven, not a typo. Ford was about $50 higher and would need 24 hours to order and receive it. Tire Pro ordered it and received it on the same day, called me when they received it and mounted and balanced it in 30 minutes. I was skeptical that this tire might be a counterfeit brand or a retired so I inspected it before the work was done. To my untrained eye, it appeared to be an authentic Continental, just the same as the factory installed ones. David assured me it was and showed me the date that it was only a few months old. There were two other customers in the waiting area who also had good service in the past and were repeat customers. David, who kept the place hopping, everyone was working just as fast as they could, said he will stand by the work and the tire. I will come here again. read more
