Quaint Kombucha Bar located next to 40 Acres and the Plant store. This place is awesome, and a definite must try if you like Kombucha, or are interested in trying some Kombucha. My best friend and I came here on a Saturday morning and decided to order two flights since everything was calling to us on the menu (HA!). In addition to Kombucha, Sacred Springs also offers a selection of Meads, so we were able to mix and match our flights with both types of drinks. The person that helped us (didn't get her name, darn) was very knowledgeable and was able to give us an in depth description of each type of flavor, which helped us narrow down our pickings. We ended up getting a variety of Kombucha/Mead from all different tiers, and enjoyed them all! Obviously, there were some that we preferred over others, but there was no one that we absolutely hated. Overall, a really great experience, and it's a nice place to sit and talk when you're looking for a place to relax.

Wonderful service and lovely atmosphere! The kombucha selection is so vast, definitely something for everyone!

Such a fun and unique experience that most cities don't have, including Indy! I love having a non-alcoholic and an alcoholic option so that people that aren't drinking/don't drink can enjoy on the fun too....and not with just water! We went with two of the flights to try one of the OG flavors and then another with mixes from the bartender. All of them were super tasty and I loved the colors of many of them. Such a fun experience and would highly recommend.

I'm not a regular kombucha drinker, but I enjoy it when I do have it! I was impressed by Sacred Springs & the very knowledgable owners. They were also really friendly and allowed us to sample all the booch! Because I like punchy, very ginger-spicy flavors, I landed on the Root of Life (beet - ginger - turmeric) mixed with MIDNIGHT FIRE (charcoal - cayenne - lime - ginger). It was exactly what I was looking for. The Root of Life is apparently one of their OGs! If you "dine-in," they offer flights! They also had some unique offerings like nitro-infused options, kombucha LATTES (like what?! I'm from Los Angeles and I've never heard/had this yet..so it's on my list).

This was a place I had never been to before. If you are interested in honey beer, this is your place. My friend as a part of her heritage has honey beer and introduced me to this place. Cultural exchanges are great over drinks. I am a wine drinker myself, however, the environment is calm and the staff are nice and well versed on the selection. Try a flight to taste a variety of options.

Do you like chill vibes, amazing beverages, live music, and a beautiful atmosphere? Sacred Springs is a must see for you in Grand Rapids! They have a wide selection of drinks; Kombucha, Beer, Mead, Hard Kombucha, Meaducha ( a mix of kombucha and mead), and more. I'll often get carry-out and eat at sacred springs with a kombucha. You can tell the owners have put a lot of intentionality in their craft. If you're not a kombucha lover, please give this place a try and see if it changes your mind. Every person who's told me they don't like kombucha, have changed their mind after visiting Sacred Springs. Maybe you'll be next! I'm proud to support this Grand Rapids native taproom!

They can any flavor on tap.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. As soon as you walk in it's a very warm welcoming. All the staff is extremely accommodating. You can do a flight of different kombucha, or buy a growler or canned buch! They have a large selection of canned kombucha. I was unsure what ones to buy, so the lady at the counter let me try as many as I wanted to make sure I walked out with exactly what I wanted! All the flavors are exploding with flavors. The original is so delicious as well (which I usually don't go for). They have a bar you can sit at, or chairs to sit and enjoy your favorite beverage. The parking is on the street, but it is easy to find. They have plenty of merch such as posters, stickers, and t-shirts. I can't recommend this local business enough! My favorite was the OM (original kombucha, before adding flavor) and house of Sphinx.

Sacred Springs is a welcoming and inclusive kombucha taproom on Wealthy Street. I've had several conversations with one of the owners, Geoff, and it's really fun to listen to him talk about how he and his business partner got started and the meaning behind sound infusion. The space itself is warm (literally, to keep the scoby alive), with art, colored lights, music instruments, and varied types of seating which makes it a very comfortable setting to enjoy their delicious kombucha! They offer flights of 4 samples which is a great way to try some different flavors. The interesting thing about kombucha is that it evolves over time, so the flavor you have one day might taste a little different the next time. I am a fan of kombucha already, but the Sacred Springs kombucha is different. It's not overly sour or too effervescent. The flavors are all balanced and they have interesting combinations. My favorite is the strawberry vanilla. It's a little sweet and fruity with great strawberry flavor. They also sell pints (you can even get one to go), howlettes, bottles, merchandise, kombucha making supplies, and sound bowls! They do special events including baby groups, live music, etc. I definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking for something other than another bar, if you love kombucha, or if you've never had it. The staff there is great and everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

    Looove sampling!!

Yaaasss a kombucha bar deserves a five star review, hands down. I was able to try many different samples while I was in. My in laws bought a couple of their refillable jars and are excited to come back for refills. Feel free to mix some of the flavors since they're all on tap. Tippity tap top that! Can't wait to come back and try more!

I purchased a Groupon a few months ago in anticipation of bringing my kombucha-loving wife here as a mini-date of sorts. It took me until now to finally bring her here, but it was definitely worth the wait! It was one of the hottest days of the year, but the vibe inside was cool and inviting. Hip, modern, with some quirky touches (hand drums available to play one corner, for instance) the space is immediately inviting. The woman behind the bar was very friendly and explained how everything works and made us feel very welcomed. As part of the Groupon we each got a flight of 4 varieties of Kombucha and a 16 oz pour in addition. All four flavors I chose were delicious, with my favorites being one with Simcoe hops/pineapple, and one aged on a kind of wood I've never heard of with limes added. I'm not always a huge fan of kombucha, especially when it leans too acidic. However all the kombucha at Sacred Springs was delicious, refreshing, and well balanced. We will be back.

They're served in cute little beakers!

What an amazing and hospitable space! Very serene with modern designs and custom art on their walls and musical instruments to experiment with with. The kombucha is excellent with many varieties to choose from, all based from green tea and infused with different spices. My favorites were Flower of Life (hibiscus, elder flower) and Thursday Night (lavender, chamomile), the former being sweet and floral and the latter light and hints of floral. Jeff, one of the owners, is such a free spirit and so open to explaining his concepts with anyone who walks through the door. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes kombucha or would like to learn more about it.

I've been wanting to check this place for a while and finally got the chance. It's small and cozy and has a mix of a brewery/coffee shop vibes. It was the perfect place for a lazy Sunday, hang out and catch up with a friend. It was perfect to sample a few things to help decide what I wanted to but but kind of wish I would have just went for a flight! The atmosphere is so beautiful and well designed and our kombucha was great, definitely recommend checking it out!

This was unfortunately our first and last visit…read more We arrived and were seated, but just a few minutes later were rushed to place our food order. While we understand they were closing in about an hour, the way we were treated felt unprofessional. We ordered one sandwich--the Hash Slingin' Slasher--and handed over our card to start a tab. From the start, we felt unwelcome. We sat in a corner and were being stared at by other customers, who appeared to be regulars & family members. The difference in treatment between them and us was striking. Most concerning was the young bartender, whose behavior was clearly unprofessional. She was rude and dismissive toward us, yet extremely friendly, upbeat, and attentive to everyone else. This made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable for first-time guests. Around 7:06 PM, an older couple arrived. The staff greeted them warmly with smiles and even hugs. They had no issues ordering food, were asked about drinks, and were made to feel welcome. Meanwhile, we were rushed, ignored, and never asked about drinks. When I went up to order a mocktail, a bottle of peach sangria to go, and a box for our sandwich, all conversation stopped. Multiple regulars & family members turned and stared at me--it wasn't subtle. My fiancée noticed it too. It didn't feel like a "closing soon" situation; it felt exclusionary. We had stopped by once before near closing time and met Nicholas, who was very kind--that's why we came back. Sadly, his kindness couldn't overcome the unprofessional behavior and uncomfortable atmosphere. The canned meads are excellent, the bottled wines are solid, and the food itself was good, but the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome.

Staff was very friendly. Nice selection of craft beers & good food. What more can you ask?read more

The food menu…read morepreviously didn't speak to me, but now that they're partners with Los Mariscos, I'm more interested. The interior is a nice vibe with picnic tables and booths, as well as a bar and high tops. There is a waitress but you can also order at the bar. The food did take awhile though. We got chips and guac, which I really liked the homemade chips, and the taco special on Tuesdays. For $25, you can pick steak, chicken, or birria tacos; you can mix and match any way you like, so we got 2 steak and 8 birria. It comes with cilantro and onions and salsa roja and verde. I was told the birria tacos were the same as the quesabirria, but just know that for this Tuesdays special, they're not -- it is only the birria taco meat with consommé on the side, no cheese or taco shells dipped in the consommé. UPDATE: My fiancé went back here with his dad a few days later, and he claims the chips tasted old or stale and the birria cheese dip appetizer was too watery and did actually come with birria in it (he had to ask for it and was given a tiny portion). Nonetheless, I'd love to come back here for tacos (quesabirria or steak) and definitely want to try the shrimp ceviche!

One of my good friends took me out for a late birthday celebration here at City Built!…read more This was my first time actually eating here but second time being in/ near the space because a few days before they hosted a World Cup watch party right on Mason street, which was super dope btw! I looked on City Built's website to see the menu before going there (of course) and found out that Los Mariscos De Pancho is now serving their food here which was a nice surprise since I have tried them at their Leonard location a few years back and enjoyed their food! I wish I could've tried some of the food that City Built had before since i had heard good things in the past but loved the combination of both City Built and Los Mariscos De Pancho! While browsing their website, I also found out that there would be open mic night on Thursdays and live music/ concerts on Monday nights which is always fun! We sat at the bar and we were pretty close to the musicians so it was kinda loud but my friend and I were still able to have our conversation. We came on a Thursday night around 6:30pm and it was already a steady amount of people there but as the night progressed the restaurant was more busy. Street parking wasn't too hard to find at this time or maybe we just got lucky.I believe the meters are free after 7pm! Walking in, there's bar seating, booth seating, high top table, coffee table seating, and bench style seating where you can sit yourself. There are 2 different entrances and in front of the main one there's patio seating! We opted to sit at the bar this time since most of the booths were full and it just happened to work out that way. We started off with drinks an alcoholic and non alcoholic version of the Agua De Jamaica and an order of the Garlic Butter Mussels. The my NA Agua De Jamaica was refreshing and much needed for the hot day. The mussels come in a serving of 6 or 12 and next time I would definitely order 12 right off the bat because we ended up ordering another round LOL. The sauce was so good I could drink it. The cucumbers were a nice refreshment/ palate cleanser from all that garlicky, buttery goodness. Just writing this review makes me want more right now! I also thought the mussels were a good size too so I will definitely be ordering those again. We also both ordered the Birria Ramen which came with Texas toast which I've never seen before. The portion size of the ramen was very filling since I was stuffed before our 2nd round of mussels came out (which took longer than anticipated to come out since we had to check to see if the order was put in). I also ordered the Birria Plate (4 birria tacos & consume) to go for my husband, which I should've ordered a bit earlier because of how long the mussels took. In the meantime, my friend wanted an expresso martini which they don't normally serve, but our amazing bartender made his own version with what he had and gave us both a cup to try. I don't even drink expresso martinis like that but the drink he made was delicious! I also heard that they have great beers too but I can't speak to that since I drink beers like that. Overall loved the vibes in here. They had different entertainment options like the live music and a few different board games to pick from. The ambiance had lots of natural light, and cute string lights, and overall a nice place to have dinner and drinks! Service was a bit on the slower side, maybe for this particular day, but everyone we interacted with was very friendly.
