    Olive double smash burger

Great double olive smash burger. Great crust from the smash burger, delicious meaty Swiss cheese and lots of olives. One of the top oliver burgers in Gr. Friendly staff from the bar to the kitchen.

Heard about this place through some recommendations and finally made it out to try their smash burger! The smash burger definitely blew us away! I would eat it again and again! We also enjoyed the pretzels and cheese curds which were both tasty as well. Food orders and drink orders were separate here. Once we ordered our food we went to the bar for a beverage. I ordered their pina colada icecream beer! This did not taste like beer and it was amazing haha! Loved how refreshing it actually was. I believe the icecream flavors change but I'm not sure how often. I'd recommend this place for a good beer and burger!

Stopped in when visit the Grand Rapids area. Slightly off the beaten path but worth the effort. I just stopped to try the beers because the brewer was extra friendly and had shared info on his brewing process via email. Many brewers wouldn't have done that. The beers I tried were very good. I would definitely visit again. Relative small brewpub, but they offer indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly and helpful staff. If I had more time I could see sending some very enjoyable and relaxing time here.

Lost Art is hands down my favorite brewery in Grand Rapids. I hesitate to even review it because it's such a nice secret to have. The beers are great-don't skip the ice cream beers for fun, but their IPAs are so flavorful. The smash burgers remain an all time favorite, the fries and onion rings are always crisp. And we LOVE a doggo friendly patio! The service is phenomenal at both the bar and food counters. Mug club members for a good reason!

You guys, the Dune Climber beer surprised me more than I can say. Please go here, sit outside, bring your dog, and enjoy a really great brew! I was very pleased with my experience tonight. Hidden gem!

Great hidden gem In the walker area. Great food truck out front, friendly staff, and had a great selections of beers. Their Mexican lager is delish, and their ice cream beers tasted like a milkshake! Great vibes, great service, will be back!

Lost Art Brewhouse is a cool neighborhood spot on the NW side of Grand Rapids. I honestly don't make it to that side of town very often, but Nate and I met up with my aunt and uncle there recently for a beer and a burger from the Lost Art Burger truck. Inside is cozy, with some varied seating and a bar. There's also a little "lounge" room off to the side that looked nice if you wanted more privacy. I've been following Lost Art on social media and have been impressed with the range of smoothie and fruity beers that they've come up with. I tried the blackberry pomegranate vanilla milkshake, which was so delicious! It was super fruity and a little thick. I got a small pour of that to sip on, and Nate got an IPA that he liked. The bartender let us try some which was helpful so we knew what we wanted. You can get a Brew Club membership, which includes some really great deals like $1 off beer every day, $1.50 off beer and $1.50 off burgers on Brew Club Tuesdays, 15% off merchandise every day, and more. This is a cool spot to try a new beer and hang out with friends. It was pretty quiet and casual when we were there on a Tuesday evening. We really liked the food from the Lost Art Burger truck!

Simply the best. I look forward to whatever new creations they brew up on a weekly basis.

BBA Great Scot & Koala Juice

This place has very good beer. Situated next to Latin House, Lost Art Brewhouse has outdoor, indoor, and lounge seating. Their food truck, Lost Art Burger, was outside playing music and serving food. They don't have flights, but you can order half pours (or try samples). We ordered a BBA Great Scot (10% ABV scotch ale), a Koala Juice (8.7% double NEIPA with Motueka and Vic secret hops), and a Dune Climber (7.2% IPA). All were great! We sat in the lounge, which was a little oddly decorated, but comfortable nonetheless. Excited to try more of their beers in the future!

My wife and I have been back a few times since our first visit. The orange dreamcicle was one of the best beers I've ever had, and the lemon freeze is also really good. Cool art deco atmosphere with a food truck out front.

Lost Art is a little gem out on Walker. It's small, cute, and usually has light jazz playing. Service is quick and the beers are unique and delicious. Has a small outdoor patio that is dog friendly (and if the sun goes away and makes it cold because it's still early March they'll allow you to bring your dog in - thank you!!)

The Lost Art Brewhouse has a great vibe with great decor. I had the Octoberfest which was outstanding, and the Rasberry Sorbet which is sure to keep the non beer drinkers happy (as well as the beer drinkers). They brew small batches, so there is always something new and fresh to try. The owner is passionate about his craft and his customers, and it shows.

We arrived right at 5 pm on a Friday and the place was almost full already! We were surprised but happy for them, and glad to get a nice cozy two-top in a back corner. We were greeted by our awesome server and ordered some food -- two different mortadella sandwiches and an order of fried pickles to start. Neither of us ordered drinks, but I saw some fun-looking cocktails coming over to nearby tables. The fried pickles came out first and they were perfection. I don't usually get this appetizer because I don't like fried pickle spears, but these were thin chips. The ratio of the fried pickle chip vs. spear is way better. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot. They have rotating food features and are always helping out their community with free meals and other philanthropic ventures. Check them out!

We were seated quickly, the interior was nicely decorated with Mardi Gras beads. It took a while for our server to come to greet us and eventually bring our drinks. I enjoyed the variety of drink offerings! I was torn between a few items and asked the servers recommendation. I ended up choosing a Korean chicken bowl. The flavors were okay but for almost $20 felt a bit lackluster. Our friends told us the burgers are a must try so maybe in the future that would be what I try instead. Our server seldom came to our table, we had to flag her down to order more drinks and even then she forgot and we had to remind her we placed another drink order. The restaurant was not very busy and we could see her chatting with a table that seemed like employees or family members of employees as people were coming in and out of the kitchen to sit at the table. We had a table of four (two couples) and the server would not split our bill which was fine but a bit inconveniencing. I appreciate local, family owned businesses but felt that our experience was a bit off on this night. I love the mission of Two Guys and their community engagement so I will likely try them again, it could've just been a rough night.

In fact, my kids laughed at my wife when she got a salad and wasn't overly impressed "Mom, why would you get a salad at a place with great burgers?!?" My thoughts exactly. The service is decent, the space is comfortable for a downtown spot on Monroe Center. When I visit, I focus solely on the burgers and I've never been disappointed. The 'Meat Wagon', topped with ribeye, ham and bacon just wants to cuddle your belly from the inside. The 'Otto Von Burger' topped with a fried egg and bacon is one of the best examples of its kind. The 'Alabamer' is great when you're craving pulled pork and bacon on your burger. If you just want a traditional burger, you have that option and won't be disappointed. Also, the loaded fries are solid, but personally, I would pass on the fancier offerings. Remember: Burgers over fancy apps and skip the salads and you'll be fine.
