Absolutely wonderful place to practice yoga. The 26 & 2 series of yoga is great but they also have hot Pilates and some different styles of yin for those who might not like the hot classes. Worried ab out a virus or flu? This practice will improve your immune system as well as strengthen your body. I had multiple and serious annual sinus infections most of my adult life. Since I've been regularly practicing at Body Yoga for almost 7 years everything has cleared up. When I do catch something it's very mild. Going on 8 months! I have always detested exercise, but now that I'm 'middle aged,' need to do it so I can stand up! My back would hurt so bad in the morning. After starting yoga, my back doesn't bother me as much. I had to take a few months off for an injury. Not doing yoga for a few months really hurt my body and spirit. Happy to be back at it. When it comes to yoga, Bikram is the best. When it comes to yoga studios, Body yoga is one of the best around. They've managed to create a very welcoming, inviting, safe place to practice and heal the issues in your tissues. This place is very spacious and has locker rooms for both genders with bathroom, shower, space for your stuff, soaps and lotions. There's things to buy like mats, towels, water bottles, water, etc and things to rent like mats and towels. There's even a water dispenser to fill your water bottle at no cost. The yoga is great! Most classes are Bikram but there's a few Yin classes each week and they've just added hot pilates. I think they try to have a nice varied selection of classes. During the summer there's usually kid's yoga too. And one of the best things about this place is after class the teacher brings around a nice cold, damp, lavender scented wash rag to soothe yourself after working hard. The best! There's even a lady that does massage therapy at the studio so you can schedule a massage for after class...or anytime. She has her own room and everything. read more

I have loved bikram for many years and tried it at SO many studios, but Kathryn's place is most awesome. Clean, beautiful, welcoming and with a great big studio and amazing bathrooms! There's always a great instructor and frozen washcloths for afterwards. Awesome yoga studio. Great instructors and engaging owner. I first heard about this studio from a friend who got me started with the Inferno Hot Pilates classes. It is a HIIT style workout with some pilates and yoga principles mixed in. I ended up also trying the Gentle Yoga class, Yin and Power Hour as well and enjoy them very much. I have seen my body transforming in a new way of being more toned and i am loving it. It is a great environment of friendly faces and lovely to be around others who share common ways of being. :) read more

I love this studio. Everyone works so hard to make every student feel welcome, and they are always caring and make us feel good. My son is a Yoga fan since he was 15 years old, and he always wants me to try, but I was always busy. We move from San Jose ca in 2015. And he found this studio. One day he came home with a 10 classes card, and ask me to try I told him that I was too busy so he told me " Mom I want for you to live for many more years and I want to say to my friends My mom is 100 years old and she was doing yoga since she was 59 years old. But I do not want to tell them. My mom dies at 63, eating donuts, watching TV, not doing anything for her. After that conversation, I am coming to this studio four days a week. I am 60 years old, and there are some postures that I have trouble doing, but the instructors help me, and the most important is that everyone makes you feel welcome. read more

This place is small and cozy. It is facing the main street but also tucked away in a corner. You can miss it but there is a big sign that says Yoga. The pilates class is intense and I am not talking about the heat. You get a really good work out from it. We do fast burpees and use bands for the leg work outs. At the end they give you lavender towels to cool off. read more

This place was a great find in Roseville! The instructors are very knowledgeable and INVESTED in your practice. I was a novice to Bikram although I had taken other yoga and hot yoga classes in other states and studios. Body returned my phone call right away and made me feel very invited. When I arrived for class, Kevin was very informative and instructed a great class. It was challenging but all the class participants were very encouraging as well. On my second class, Katherine was the instructor and I got even more instruction and encouragement. I witnessed a variety of skill levels and body types in each class, so it was not intimidating. The place itself is clean, there are mats and towels available for rent (I travel a lot for work, so carrying a yoga mat is not an option). Kevin even set up my mat and towel for me in the first class, so again I felt welcome and like I belonged. The locker room has cubbies and a shower and smells like a spa. Each class I left feeling like I had accomplished something great for my body! I would highly recommend visiting or becoming a member! read more

I'm a yoga beginner, but not a youngster. I did visit the website prior to showing up for a class; which proved to be 100% consistent (and quite helpful!). Any trepidation I may have felt about what to expect with hot yoga or being a beginner AND being in an "all levels" class was quickly dispelled. Every student is encouraged to perform to the best of their ability. Improvement comes incrementally. The upside to sharing class with advanced students is to see these poses (that feel impossible now), are actually possible!! The staff and others that I've met attending 2 classesi were friendly and encouraging. I've now attended classes with instructor's Catherine and Laurel. They were both outstanding! If you've wondered about hot yoga, I can't imagine a better place to give it a go. It's been a great way for me to begin. read more
