Once again a very good meal at Sadie's Diner. The blackened salmon is delicious especially with black eyed peas and steamed broccoli. The cheese biscuit brings it all together. The service is always good. Good prices.

We stopped to grab a bite while my hubby plugged our car in my son and I grabbed dinner. It looks super new, clean and service was fabulous and food was even better; cooked to order. I tried the club and he got the kids hot dogs with broccoli for both. Broccoli was flavorful and the sandwich was big enough to share half with hubby.

Wait 10 Minutes just to be looked over and skipped . I literally walk around the whole place and son waiting to be served while another family walks up and they fall over themselves .

This place just opened on Wednesday. Very spacious and bright inside. Lots of employees, but only two servers with a trainee. Service was good. Especially since they are all new. We ordered a patty melt with fries and a veggie omelet. Both were over cooked a bit. Nothing spectacular.

This Diner was recommended by our hotel in Vance. The diner has been opened for 6 months. We read a couple of negative reviews on it and weren't going to try it but the ladies at the hotel said it was very good so we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did not follow those reviews. It was VERY good! When you enter the diner you are greeted by the bakery counter. We will get to that later. It is a large diner with tables or you can eat at a counter on a stool. The place is immaculate. We were greeted by our server Taylor D. She was so sweet. We ordered the meatloaf, which was a nice healthy serving and it was delicious! Our side dishes were mashed potatoes and gravy (homemade with skins and some nice soft chunks mixed in with brown gravy, they were delicious!), collard greens (which were very tasty), and the BEST fried green tomatoes around. The meal came with a cheese biscuit as well. Even the iced tea would make any southerner happy. Like I said, the young lady who waited on us was Taylor. She was so sweet and attentive to us. We had a couple of nice conversations with her. Be sure to ask for her. After we demolished our meal, we decided we were stuffed but could not resist ordering some dessert to take back to the hotel. It was a difficult choice, but we selected a slice of strawberry cake and coconut cake. Taylor said that her favorite was the original cheesecake but we went with the cake. They were nice sized slices (I forgot to take a picture BEFORE we ate them). The strawberry cake was moist and the icing was just right. Delicious! The coconut cake was the winner in my book. Oh my WORD it was so good. It was so moist and the coconut mixed icing was amazing! It paired very well with coffee. My hubby and I split and shared desserts. Husband's meal was $10.99 with 2 sides and mine was 11.99 because I added a third side. I highly recommend you try Sadie's Diner in Vance. You will not be disappointed.

Horrible service, food, and overall experience! Slowest employees that I have ever seen in my life! Avoid at all costs!

The desserts are delicious and the gentleman who put together my order was very kind and helpful! I…read morerecommend the conchas as well as the flan. The flan was more of a cheesecake style with a crust around it which was amazing, but you could still taste the custard base of the flan, as well. I've never seen it made that way so it seemed very unique. Everything tasted fresh, even having picked up my order later in the evening. Please give them a try if you haven't already, you will not be disappointed.

Notes: 1) been here a few times but after work hours…read more2) need some Spanish knowledge 3) more stuff per house staff in the AM Pros: 1) great variety of baked goods 2) has tamales 3) cost is very cheap 4) lots of space to park 5) nice little local store Cons: 1) nothing really 2) can't speak Spanish to fully communicate but the owners can speak decent English 3) great service otherwise 4) lots of holes in parking lot This place is really good overall. Great for the cost and local. I think I am a bit biased but the majority of items have a lot of bread/ is mainly bread based. I cannot eat a lot of this for too long but everything I've had was amazingly delicious. The tamales had a great flavor but do not have a lot of meat inside it. The bolillos are really good. You can buy them in bulk and you can also buy them stuffed with jalapenos and cream cheese. Overall, I really recommend coming to this place for a nice pastry or even breakfast. Nice local store.
