She immediately said "Well, we can't give you anything else". I said fine, then just take it back. The others agreed to do the same. When she took the other plates on the way, she called me a bitch, somewhat under her breath but loud enough for us to hear. The father then comes in, (owner) I told him what she said and he defends his daughter saying " She never talks that way". In either case, he defended his daughter and the meal and never once appologized or said he understood or anything. After a bit of an argument, he finally said he would take it off the bill. My husband and I have never ever had to fight for money back for a meal that could't be eaten. They were rude, non-compasionate, argumentive. The other 3 people had a wonderful meal as the beef and the veal were very tender and delicious. It's too bad as we thought we finally found a great place for an elegant diner. To bad , the attiude that we experienced, means we will never go back. Beware that if you complain you will have a fight on your hands.
