I would never go back to Dr. Badie's office. My dentist retired and sent my records to Badie so I thought he would be very good and well organized. Neither was true. A poorly done implant made a tooth fall out and left a pin buried in my jaw. Dr. Klemmedsen and Dr. MaGill had devised a double tooth so I wouldn't have to go through a whole new process. Both tried to remove the pin, but it was impossible. I told Badie that two very good dentists had tried to remove it and didn't succeed, He insisted that he could do it and said it was easy. I sat in his chair for around two hours while he cut and lasered my gum. I was in pure misery! He couldn't remove it! He ordered a new teeth for the implant, and when he was putting them in my mouth, he was asking his girls to go get this and go get that. He was very disorganized as his front office staff is equally disorganized. He is one of the worst dentists I have seen in Tucson. I went to this office for an emergency root canal. After that, he did a bunch of work on my molars, all of which sudden needing more root canals and crowns. 5 years later, and I'm needing to replace all of the crowns he placed due to poor care. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences at Dr. Badie's and given that so many people are afraid of going to the dentist, I thought it would be worth giving a shout-out to this office. I originally came here because of a coupon they sent in the mail. At the time I was a broke grad student so I hadn't been to the dentist in 2 years. This coupon gave me an opportunity to get a cleaning and x-rays at a decent cost. The cleaning was painless and thorough... My teeth felt very nice afterward! Since then I have gotten a second cleaning and a cavity filling done. I really appreciated that they constantly asked if I was doing okay, and that they talked me through each step of the procedures. The assistant also taught me how to use a water pik which was very helpful. Everyone working here is honestly very nice, which lends to the experience. After graduating and finding a job, I decided to stick with Dr. Badie. Not only had I had a pleasant experience the first time, but Dr. Badie's office offers a dental insurance plan that is cheaper than the one offered through my employer. This in-house insurance plan is honestly what sold me - dental work is never cheap, but Dr. Badie's insurance makes it affordable. Unpleasant experience all around. Dr. Badie is licensed to perform a special procedure that he and his staff were then trying to push on my with all they could. There were various incidents when instruments were broken. The worst one was when the drill did not spray water, and Dr. Badie thought it would be ok if he drilled and the assistant spray water separately. That obviously did not work and I unilaterally decided to change the chair. The crack he repaired caught more food after than it did before, and the fix he did on a bit of broken-off front tooth broke after about 2 hrs. That was my final straw. On the positive side, the dental cleaning seemed very proficient. It then took three calls to get my x-rays e-mailed to me. Unfortunately, they got mailed to a random person with a vaguely similar mail address, who now has my x-rays, full name and date of birth. read more

My family moved to Oro Valley, Arizona, sixteen years ago. One of the first things on our to do list was to find a dentist. After some research we found a dentist by the name of Dr. Saeid Badie, DDS. We learned that he offers a full service dentistry for the whole family. He now offers cleaning and X-rays to braces, fillings, crowns, veneers, root canals and even dentures in a clean, friendly environment. Last week my wife needed dental surgery. Dr. Badie, with the help of his fine staff, took good care of my wife . She is now home recovering. The staff is very professional. Both times I have scheduled an appointment the front office has told me that they don't have me in the schedule and I will need to come back. The second time I kept the appointment card to prove and they did not care and acted like it was my fault. This office is VERY DISORGANIZED and the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing!! The lady at the front has a nasty attitude. When I called to see if they accepted my insurance they said "we accept all insurances" come to find out the receptionist told me that she is just required to tell everyone that and they did not even accept my insurance after all that. I had to take off work several times for their mistakes and it's not a short drive. Very disappointed with customer service. I have been going to Dr. Badie for 1.5 years. I find the staff there to be professional, friendly, and efficient. I usually speak with Perla when checking in and she is knowledgeable, helpful, and fast. I have had a couple of hygienist clean my teeth, but I usually see Larissa, and they have both done an excellent job. Larissa has a gently touch, but gets the job done well. Dr. Badie and the hygienists are thorough, which is something I have not experienced with other dentists in Tucson. I have gum recession, and Dr. Badie keeps a close eye on that, measuring carefully, and taking particular care with one trouble spot. BEWARE! Received a statement saying I owe a balance due past 90 days. Never did I receive a notice or even advised while I was in the office of a past due non paid balance. Here's the best part Received notice yesterday 15Nov2017; called the office and they said it's from an unpaid bill from 08Jun2016 over a YEAR ago, apologized for their incompetence. I can't preach enough about how much I love Dr. Badie's office. The girls are so sweet and Dr. Badie is very thorough. I generally hate dentists and had not gone in a few years when I first made an appointment here. Perla and Susie at the front desk were very sweet and knew who I was before I had to tell them. Monica showed me around the office which I have never seen done before but it brought comfort to me. She and Dr. Badie also explained everything they were doing before they began doing it. Bernie cleaned my teeth and also explained the process. I've never had anyone tell me what was going on before! I have TMJ and Dr. Badie was very attentive in my follow up appointment. I sat in the chair for three hours because he was trying to figure out what was going on - he even identified a separate issue that was brought up but ignored by my former dentist 14 years ago. Dr. Badie pulled some strings with an endodontist and got me in the SAME day for a root canal, and he saved my tooth! Dr. Badie and his staff are awesome. My husband hadn't been to a Dentist for over 8 years, we went in and Larrisa the dental hygentist took a series of radiographs and performed his cleaning with no pain. larrissa was very attentive to my husband feelings continued to ask if he was doing good, my husband was very pleased with her professionalism and caring chair side manner. I myself went in for a routine exam and also received my full mouth radiographs (pain Free) got a regular cleaning, I had starts of cavities which Doctor Badie offered to treat right there and then. this was awesome has anyone had WATER LASER FILLINGS BEFORE? no shots no pain this is awesome!!!! Maybe Yelp will get rid of this duplicates one day... :) It's been hard to find a dentist who takes our insurance and who I don't have doubts about (poor reviews, conveyor belt atmosphere). Our last dentist was great (affordable, good), but with looming dental bills for my husband (multiple crown replacements are needed), we decided to find a dentist who is part of our dental plan. It was a long search before we found Dr. Badie. Based on good reviews and lots of info online, we decided to give him a try. My teeth are pretty good (only a few minor cavities in my life -- and the semi-regular push by each new dentist to push a wisdom tooth removal that I have no plans on removing unless it actually causes problems). I was more worried about what we'd hear when my husband went. We'd been told years ago by a dentist with a super hi-tech office that he NEEDED 4 crowns and right away (I'm assuming that's how some dentists can pay for/afford all the newest gadgets). And that it would only be $2300 out of pocket (with insurance paying another $2000). We were skeptical (about the cost and the need) and found another dentist. That one said "in the future you might need one or two, but right now, you just need 1 filling." He was right -- 1 filling took care of him for over 2 years. But, the out of pocket costs for the crowns my husband now needs were too high to continue going there. Our insurance wasn't accepted by that dentist and while the fees aren't crazy (compared to the previous dentist), 2 crowns are not cheap. Jump to my husband's first visit to Dr. Badie a couple weeks ago. He didn't share what had been said by the other 2 dentists. The end result of his evaluation was 2 crowns, 2 fillings. Still not the 4 crowns that the dentist years ago had insisted upon. And while Dr. Badie's office seems to have a lot of hi-tech gadgets, it seems he's not paying for it by pushing unneeded work. My husband was pretty pleased when he left. We got a full estimate by tooth/work and plan to get that going soon. Oh, and they take care of kids, too. My son is 4 and had no problems there (he's been getting his teeth cleaned since he was 2). They're all great with him (they have little toys they give to kids when they're done) and don't push unnecessary xrays (his teeth are fine and no need to get them and expose him to radiation for no reason). And, as a nice, old-school touch... we all got welcome letters after our first visit (pretty standard form letters, but with a handwritten note added to it). read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME TO RISK YOUR ORAL HEALTH. I was actually advised to avoid this office. But when I realized that I should have taken the advice it was too late. Dr Saeid Badie will convince you to pay thousands of dollars to fix a problem that does not exist. He will be very nice to you before he charges you. But as soon as you pay you will observe the horrible quality of the service, their actual attitude towards the patients, and the real problems that they actually create for you. The whole staff will gang up on you if you don't bow your head. I had a very uncomfortable year going to his office but I had to finish the treatment which cost me hours of waiting, thousands of dollars, and many disrespectful interactions from the dentist and the staff, especially Lisa who does not like people in general and only cares about the money you bring for them. I won't spend a penny in an office where a woman like Lisa rules. Never again. The ortho service that Dr Badie suggested for me because of my "bad bite" actually messed up my teeth alignment and he could not do what he was supposed to and when I asked him to do his job he said "I can't!". Do not go to a dentist who can't. There are many others who can. I am getting help from a dentist who can fix the problem that Saeid Badie created for me. read more
