I got a flat tire and pulled by the air pump at this station. It needed a tow, the tire was…read moreshredded. No one was open slightly before 5am so I ran across the street to the 7eleven for a phone but it the payphone wasn't working and it they were no help. I looked across the street and noticed the light on and someone inside the Shell, so I ran back across the street. The guy working there was very nice and let me use the store phone and his personal cell as well. He also made me a paper cup to put water in since I was thirsty. I talked with him most of the time I waited for the tow. I just think it is very important to have such nice employees at a business even if it isn't necessary I didn't even use the business. I hope anyone reading this will bring them more business because they are so nice and he talked about when this location was a Chevron. Both are quality gas. I also hope nicer things are in his future as he doesn't make much in this position but he is waiting for the increase in minimum wage:)

The employee on the shift told me I had to scan the machine at the counter because he is new. If he scans my tickets using his machine behind the counter and there is a cash out of $100 or more, then he would be screwed. He claimed that it was his first day there. He did not want to get into trouble. I kept scanning the machine on the counter several times, including the times he helped. The screen kept saying, "Check ticket." The machine refused to work. I asked him, "So you are not going to help me at all?" The employee said, "No. I can't. It's my first day and I am alone today." I asked, "So what do I do?" He said, "You can go to another store, the one across the street." The store across the street is actually a 7-Eleven store. I left my vehicle there and walked across the street to have my tickets checked and to purchase another lottery ticket. I told the employee at the 7-Eleven store what happened. He shook his head in disbelief. Manager/owner, if you are reading this, please review the procedure and retrain employees. I asked the Speedway Convenience Store's employee's name. He said his name is Vincent. This is the first time I have evern been denied assistance by an employee to check my Powerball ticket so I could proceed with obtaining another one. I have always been grateful to receive service from other employees. Please do not discredit other employees that provided good customer service experiences I have had.

However, the only way to get it is to download the app on your phone and connect it to your bank. I will not put banking information on my phone. If I lose my phone, then what? SO many selections to choose from, and everything from unsweetened green tea to caffeine laded Mountain Dew! Mix and match is my favorite was to try new combos.
