A good car wash is hard to find. Based on good Yelp reviews I drove from Marana to The Boss. My car was clean of trash and spills but really dusty. They gave me an estimate of time and money based on my car's condition. $45 plus tip and about an hour and it looked great inside and out. I will definitely make the drive again. read more

I have been here a few times because it is the only place with hand wash. Another place using machines broke my mud flaps so avoid those now. The first few times I came here the rep quoted me a price for inside and outside. The last time I went he did not and after the fact said the inside was so messy, it was not, he charged me extra. I take some fault for not nailing it down ahead of time, they don't post any pricing. But because of previous experiences I thought they were fair. I will not be going back. I would warn anyone that takes a vehicle for deceptive service... I paid for an exterior wash and wax ( I was quoted a price when I brought my off road in for a detail). What I got was a was a 10 wash and10 dry and NO WAX???? WTF! I sat there and watched and I saw them dry the car but wax was never applied????? I've always been to this car wash several time for months but this past few months they have been raising their price ridiculously high. There is no set price and prices are random per customer from what I hear from other people. I use to pay $30 every time I go, then randomly increased it to $40 which wasn't much of a big deal. I don't go for a month and they told me again they increased it to $60. At this point they are just throwing random numbers and the cleaning is not worth the job they are doing. They don't even clean inside the cabinets like they used to and the employees are sus asf. The reason for their increased prices is because "it's more dirty", well isn't that the whole point of a car wash and service to BE CLEANED??? Do yall want me go come to the car wash my car already cleaned like wtf? Lol Overall, their prices are ridiculously high for the type of service they do and they don't do a good job as they used to. For newcomers they might do an extra better job but when you come there often they will start getting lazy. They never white doors down or the consuls, but conditioned over the dirt didn't vacuum between the seat and the center consul. Otherwise they did an absolutely beautiful job. I cannot day enough good things about this place. It started with a quote request over Yelp to which they responded to very quickly even though it was the weekend. I ended up taking my husband's Altima almost a week later and still they were pleasant, honest and upfront, once they saw the car in person, that the price originally quoted would be more because my husband decided to add a few extras. Long story short, we've been in Tucson for 5 years and had given up hope of finding a good, thorough, well done job from any car wash in town but luckily this place came through with an awesome detail job! I finally found a great car handwash place in Tucson. The typical car-wash chain attitude is how can I do as little as possible as quickly as possible while charging you the most money. The Boss Carwash is the OPPOSITE of that business model. David and his crew took their time while working very hard to make sure my vehicle was spotless inside and out. The waiting room looks brand new and was very clean. A lot of places stopped with compressed air to blow out the crevices that drip water the minute you drive off. The Boss still uses a compressed air blowgun and made sure that this did not happen. In Tucson we all know that drying water will leave calcium deposits that we hate at home and especially on our cars. Not a problem here. The tires were dressed and ALL the windows (exterior of course but the interior as well) were spotless. The interior and the back (I have a SUV) were completely vacuumed and not a speck of dirt remained. My infotainment screens and dash were also cleaned very well. This will now be my go-to car-wash place! read more
