Minus one star because the staff was cleaning up constantly. Within an hour of the party, they had erased the "happy birthday" message with the host's name from the blackboard. I understand wanting to keep things organized, but this felt a little unnecessary (10 seconds of erasing at such an early point in the party...surely this could have been done at the end). We held our kid's birthday party here and the place was huge and so clean :) loved the experience and everything about it was good! It was easy to call them and discuss package options. They offer so much flexibility - you can order food through them or bring up-to 3 of your own platters (21x13 size) too for no charge. The balloon decor for $40 a bunch was cute and they offered arches starting $200+ Base package starts from $600 (15 kids and 50 adults) and u have to pay $250 as advance to reserve the date and time. This includes cutlery, water, juice as well. Every additional kid is $18. The place is safe for kids aged 0-5 and gives them space to run and enjoy while the parents can relax and sit and eat. No shoes allowed so either you can go in socks or barefoot. The place is all yours for 2 hr slots and parking is free and they have their own lot. We hosted our daughter's 3rd birthday party on Dec 14th at whirlygig. Highly satisfied and this is the party where we could go relaxed as a family. The place was well maintained and spacious, worth the service tips. Everything was taken care from start to finish. All we had to think about was to be a host and connect with our guests. Setting up food, decor, serving cake, packing in boxes the food. Pick and drop off things to car, everything was amazing. If you are looking for a stress free party to be hosted, highly recommend this place. Kids upto age 10 are free. Came here for a friend's kid's birthday party and wow, I was so pleasantly surprised how big the space was! There was so much to do for the kids. Multiple rooms tucked away and I like how they don't allow shoes so kids can crawl around with cleaner floors. We've been to different kid venues before and there was maybe a couple structures and toys for them to play with. Whirlygig had a lot more and it was great. Definitely considering hosting my child's birthday here in the future! TIP: They have parking in the back. They post orange cones so other random cars don't come in, but it did deter us because we didn't realize and found street parking nearby. read more

Great experience hosting our bday party with them. Space is huge and clean, great for kids to run around. Easy parking. Very nicely decorated even when you don't opt for any extra decorations. Staff beforehand was very communicative. Staff day of was extremely on top of it -- they will lay out your food and cutlery, cut your cake, carry stuff to and from the car, etc. The pricing and packages were super transparent. Only complaint would be that the extra food fee is a bit pricey; you only get to bring in 3 food trays as part of the base package, so it's hard to adequately feed guests without incurring a surcharge. read more

I hosted my son's 4th birthday here last weekend and everyone had a great time! I'd highly recommend this venue for a little kid's birthday. First, it's so convenient for them to provide the decorations, food, set up, and clean up. I basically didn't have to do all that much other than make decisions on what to order. The day of the party was incredibly smooth and all the staff were very helpful and kept everything running on a tight schedule. I would say a downside is that because it's so scheduled, you don't have a lot of flexibility. For example, some of the kids wanted to take home decorations but they couldn't because the venue provides them, and they shut down part of the room half an hour before to start cleaning up and get everyone ready for cake/singing. And also, since you reserve the venue for your own party, you have a hard stop. However, this wasn't a problem for us but useful to know. I was pleasantly surprised that they packed up the leftover food for us! I thought they would throw it away after, so that was a nice bonus, except now we have way too much cheese and fruit haha. All the kids had a great time and the setup of the venue is nicely spread out so that it didn't feel so overwhelming or stimulating. I celebrated my son's fourth birthday at Whirlygig this past weekend, and it was an awesome experience! The main host/coordinator during the event, Izabel, was communicative, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly so that I could enjoy the party with my son and guests. All the kids ranging in ages from 1-6 had an amazing time- there was something for everyone! I was impressed by all the options, toys, activities, etc. The venue was clean, well-maintained, and spacious- we had 15 kids and around 30-35 adults, and plenty of room. Everything was taken care of for me, and the experience of being able to be present with my son at his party and not having to worry about things was such a nice change. Hosted my son's 2nd birthday here, and honestly I'm so glad we did. It wasn't crazy pricey and totally worth it considering all they do for you. They lay out all the food, take care of everything from lighting the cake to gathering everyone for all activities, and they even pack the car with your gifts and food and bring it to your car. It's so turn key and taken care of. The kids bopz music in the background is a great ambience to keep it relaxed, and the people working the parties are really good at keeping things in line without being too intrusive. All the kids had SUCH a blast and the space is so big with multiple rooms. So everytime they explored a new room, it was like a new party for them. The parachute was a huge hit with all the parents lifting it up and down for the kids. Sometimes you want to host a party and not worry about entertaining as well as cleaning up and I thought Whirlygig was a good spot for kids ages 4 and below. We came here for a birthday party and the kid's were all kept busy for the 2 hours we were there. There were 2 separate rooms. One room had a foam pit and sandbox. The other room had a playhouse, playground, play kitchen, dress up clothes as well as small toy cars and a dollhouse. The place wasn't so big but a good enough size for you to keep an eye on the kids while they play without needing to hover over them. They don't have a private parking lot but street parking was easy to find. Shoes have to come off and I found the place to be clean and safe for the kiddos to play. read more

First time here today for their open play. Little tot had a ball. There was plenty of different things to keep her distracted for the 3 hour play slot. My only complaint is their bathroom situation. Since shoes are not allowed, you can either opt for grip socks or go barefoot. All fine and well until the inevitable trip(s) to the restroom. The floors got wet and soiled as the session progressed. Toilets got clogged and started to overflow. Children had accidents while they were waiting in line for a stall. Meanwhile, everyone still had to came in and out in their socks or barefoot. This setup seems quite unsanitary. If they can provide a small shelf with inexpensive loaner slip on sandals for the restroom that would be amazing! I saw this set up at another indoor play space (Bumblebee Playspace) and it made the whole restroom experience so much better! read more

I came here for a open play session and I was impressed by how spacious it was inside. They had many different sections for the little ones to enjoy all scattered throughout. There was a drawing room, sand pit area, reading, and ball pit area. The only thing was that the area to hold our shoes was a bit dirty. It's definitely worth the money and fun. In our opinion, everything went so smoothly and we literally did not have to worry or stress about anything during the party. Everything was taken care of to the T! One of the reasons why I booked this place was that I didn't want to do any planning/work and decorating because I don't have the time for that while having it be a private indoor space all to yourself. The only planning I really did was figuring out what food and dessert to order. Communication was spotty and forgetful with the Party Director and not as prompt as I would like, which was the only stress I experienced throughout the whole time, but everything was perfect on the day of. We had a custom theme and all decorations were so good and cute!! Such a beautiful job well done. Izabel and all staff on-site were attentive and so helpful with everything, thank you so much again! I'd highly recommend booking for your kid's party if you want a place that does everything for you and you get to enjoy the party! Granted it's not very affordable but totally worth it since you really don't have to do anything. They also have open play on some days of the week for $20/session, which I think is worth it too. Thank you Whirlygig for offering a safe place for kids to play during this crazy time. I booked a 90 minute private play season for my two boys back in August (when it was safe for them to operate) and they had a great time. Carmela was a great person to work with. She was story friendly and responsive to me emails and was present during our session. After our temperatures were checked, we were taken to the play area where we could then take off our masks. My kids are 5 and 2. They had fun playing on the slide and in the play tractor. There were a bunch of blocks, cars, etc to play with that get sanitized between sessions. They actually spent the most time playing in the sand pit. While I've taken my boys to many parks, this was their first experience with sand and they enjoyed it a lot. The play area was very clean. Hand sanitizer was readily available as well as a bathroom for customers to use. You have an option is 60 or 90 minutes of okay. Is suggest going with 90 minutes because it sure goes by fast. While I know they can't be open for play right now, please continue to support Whirlygig with their takes home activity kits. read more

We hosted our son's 4.5 year old birthday party here today and it was truly a hit with kids ranging from 1 years old to 8 and parents too. The venue has just the right activities for boys, girls young and old. There is a farmhouse that also has costumes and a tool shed, chalkboard wall...huge slide and tractor that kids can climb and down. Two sandpits with enough tractor toys for everyone. The kids were just floored! We had roughly 25 kids and 30 adults and did not feel tight at all. The service was impeccable with three ladies that helped us setup and keep the kids busy. We decided to get the messy play that included the making of slime, and kinetic sand. Though the kids were completely engrossed in making their slime. The place came pre-decorated and we just had to add in a few themed ornaments. Usually venues don't provide such end to end service. In the end they even helped us clean up and pack up. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but it was all worth it. I just feel like this is such a gem in the community and I really hope the service and venue stay pleasant and pristine! read more

We had our daughter's 5th birthday party at Whirlygig back in January (clearly a later review). It was our first time (well everybody's first time really) here and it was fantastic! The space was big and accommodated everyone comfortably. It was very clean and organized. We had kids 1-5 yrs and there was something for everyone! That staff was wonderful. Izabel was so friendly and easy to work with. She kept us updated and on schedule. Oh my gosh and when they say they take care of everything so we can enjoy, they really do!! Even though we brought our own food and cake, they took care of setup, cleanup, and even packed everything up! Packed up as in, they wrapped up the leftovers and helped us load the card. I booked a party here for an event recently. We decided to order food from here as well to make it easy for us. The space is nice, the kids were entertained. We paid for the basic decorating package which comes with the booking. The food we ordered, unfortunately, was not warm when we were eating it. Then, I had to remind them of the craft that comes with the basic package, except the craft they had told me by email that we were going to, was switched out with coloring party hats instead. The craft they had told me we would do was going to be CD spinners. Then, half an hour before our slot was up, we starting eating cake and they started closing half the playspace, leaving us only the tractor room and the sand room. When I asked about it, they said they usually close it even earlier but because we were still doing crafts, they let us have extra time in that space. If we're paying for 2 hours of the space, if they're closing half the space early, that information should be told to the person booking the space before it's being booked. Now, I'm looking at my bank statement 9 days after the fact and it turns out they charged me twice on the day when I paid the remainder of what I owed. I have emailed the owner and she told me yesterday she would look into and get back with me but I'm still having to follow up on it as I have not gotten any response yet. read more

Came her for open play and my 1 year old had a blast! There was a lot of room for her to crawl around safely and a lot of different things for her to play with and explore. There's a slide, a sand room, a drawing room, foam pit, pretend play kitchen and doll house, a bunch of toy cars, tricycles, and much more. Once she got bored of one thing it was easy for her to hop to the next. The only downfall is that their open play is only Monday and Friday. 10/10 recommend! read more

I don't think anyone wanted to leave even though the party was over. The farmhouse and beach house themed play structures are just perfect and kids all ages could do so many activities - write on the chalkboard, play dress up, go up n down the slide, jump inside the soft play pit, play horsies, go rock climbing and best of all - play in a sand pit complete with trucks and stuff. I mean sand without the hassle of water - how great is that??? We had to literally pull our kid out of the sand pit for the cake cutting as she was too reluctant to leave the pit. Plus no stress of before party setup and after party cleanup. Everyone at Whirlygig goes out of their way to help and make the experience absolutely wonderful. Whirlygig was still fairly new when we had my son's second birthday party there right before the pandemic. The age range of the child guests was 2-4 and a good time was had by all. Highlights: 1) The facility set is whimsical, and we made good use of the different themed rooms (farm house, beach set), enjoying the unique play structures which are as functional as they are aesthetic. There was plenty of space for our group and everyone could fan out and do their own thing. 2) Carmela, the event manager, helped us order drinks, bagels, snacks (kids platter), and cupcakes through Hannah (long-time fan here of their drinks and pastries), which was more than enough for the 17 kids and their parents. It was great not having to deal with the clean-up afterward! I would definitely consider using the facility again for future parties or playdates. The only critical feedback I would give is that some of the party attendants, while professional, were not particularly friendly - this was noticed by at least one other guest too. The facility itself is so adorable, and was the perfect layout for younger kids. As opposed to many party places, you rent the entire play area, so there is less panic about having to follow toddlers around at all times, and the tables are incorporated right into the play place, so everyone can eat, mingle, and play all together. It was also impeccably clean. Everyone of our guests commented on what a hidden gem Whirlygig is. We opted for the Custom Whirly-Extravaganza party and had a "Winter Onederland" theme, the decor was sweet and on point, and it was so convenient for a full time working mom to not have to worry about making/purchasing/collecting decorations. I brought in one additional decor item, but we arrived to a beautiful space that was perfectly coordinated with the invitation that I showed while booking our party. I wanted to see what all the hype about was at Whirlygig since they only have certain open play days which tend to sell out fast and private play. I finally snagged an afternoon session which was from 2p - 5p. I found easy free street parking, and I believe they have their own parking out somewhere. Check in was easy, you have to fill out a waiver on your phone prior to going in. Make sure you have your socks on, as shoes have to come off. The area was quite small, with two separate rooms. A room off to the left is a big sand box, soft foam play area, and a small rocking climbing wall. The other room consists of some slides, building foam blocks, bunch of toys, a kitchen , ride on things, etc. space for kids to run around. My 3.5 year old was entertained for about 1 hr and was ready to go. The price was $20/child. No real food can be purchased but you can bring your own lunch. I would recommend this place for younger children that are exploring, 1-2 years old. read more

We celebrated our boys 4th birthday last Sunday, and it was so successful I keep getting comments from parents about it! First, the unique play area gives an amazing entertainment for all ages. The team was helping so much with settings, decorations, organizing the food and desserts, and also made the clean up and even wrapped the leftover food ready for us to take home.
