Half-assed, at best. Whether it's alterations or dry cleaning, you'll be paying to have someone else finish the job.

Backstory: Whoa~I was definitely blessed the days I wore my yellow dress for attending my VA Hospital appointment--I noticed the zipper was splitting open around my stomach but, I thought I fixed the zipper from splitting open~NOT! Finally, I wore my dress attending a Sunday church service . . . FYI: I never wear silk slips because I typically wear one of my 100% cotton, Maui Hawaiian, tube dresses underneath the yellow zipper dress, i.e., hiding my "stuff" rather than just wearing my strapless bra and SPANX which I bought at Oahu's Nordstrom=TMI---OOOOooof!!!! Therefore, it was imperative dropping off my yellow, zipper dress for a zipper replacement plus, I gave Nadia a heavy-duty, white, metal, pull-down zipper replacement for replacing the failing nylon zipper. Anyway, I pick up my yellow dress a few days later . . . Lol.

Before coming in, I called to make sure they had experience sewing patches on a military uniform…read more They said yes, that they did it all the time. My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use. I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at.

So, for just only $60 and four days later, I returned to grab my jacket which was nicely fixed for me like I'd asked; on top of that; they also cleaned and washed the coat, which left me pleasantly surprised ! I was so overwhelmed with happiness and warmth of kindness of this , I gave a hug to the tailor and wore the jacket immediately afterwards ! Thank you for the efficient and excellent service . I would come back here to get more clothes tailored/fixed if needed.

The place is in hidden area so you might miss the turn driving on the Main Street. The parking lot is wide and some parking. I walked in and the owner is a little sweet Mexican lady. The store is a little small but had a lot of fabric and altered dresses on display. I told her what I needed so she offered me to change so she can see the dress. There is a small curtain dressing room in the corner of the store. After looking at the dress she kindly said it wasn't possible which I figured. But I had a pair of pants I needed to trim and I tried on that. There was a long mirror and she measured the trim height with a clip and asked if it was good height. She quoted me $12 on the hem. I entered all my information on the iPad and got an email confirmation. Three days later, I came back to pick up and she gave it to me. Now my pants are not too long and a good height. The trim looks nice too because I don't see any cuts or string. I say her prices are reasonable.

I hate to post a less than positive review for a local business. I would say this Tailor shop is…read morefairly low-priced and the owner? and her staff are friendly. I've used their services twice. The first time I had a dress altered to shorten the length of the straps. It was done acceptably although I could feel one side was a bit shorter when I was wearing the dress; however, it was not noticeable in looks. The second time I utilized their services, I was looking to tighten the sash I had for my wedding dress. This would be done by moving the buttons over. I took it to the shop and they suggested that it would be better to not sew it in a straight line parallel to the side as human waists will have a curve. This made sense to me and I still agree with their reasoning. However, I was extremely disappointed with their sloppy work in sewing the buttons on (please see pictures). I am a beginner amateur sewist so I theoretically could have just done this myself, but I received my dress just a few weeks before my wedding and I just preferred to pay someone more experienced to do this. Unfortunately I felt it was money wasted as I ended up redoing it. I think their work is passable and low cost, but I've visited seamstresses that have work that is far higher quality for not much higher of a price.
