After about a year, I was doing some work in the bathroom, an area backed up to the kitchen but not touched by the contractor, and decided to replace the medicine cabinet and light over the sink. When I removed the medicine cabinet what I saw appalled me. My flex conduit had apparently been accidentally cut during demo and rather than properly fixing it, they wire-nutted the wires together inside the wall -- an extreme fire hazard. They had improperly installed 110V under cabinet lighting, and improperly installed electrical boxes. I immediately called Ax Elite Trical and they came out to investigate. They helped me recover over $2000 from the remodeling contractor. They re-did the work having to tear up the walls in the living room, hall, and bath saving me costly tile repair. I actually did not get the gentleman's name (maybe it was Alex?). He was working on a job in the O.C. but was kind enough to Facetime with me and walked me through a few ways to fix the problem. Turns out my main switch was simply stuck in the middle position and just needed to be pushed to the off position with some force. They were a bit late for starters. Unfortunately, when they came and opened my brand new box, there was a significant crack in the wood that couldn't be fixed or ignored so they canceled the appt. at no cost to me and told me to give them a txt or call when I returned this item and purchased a new one. I really appreciated this and was excited to hire them again. About a month later, I finally got a new TV center - this time I checked it out for any issues and it was fine. I txted the owner on a Friday, the day I got the new package. He said he'd see about availability for the weekend. I knew this was short notice, so I wouldn't have been bothered if I needed to wait for the following weekend. But he never followed up with me that day. Not a huge deal so I just txted him on Saturday and asked if he had any updates. He completely ignored me. On Sunday, I sent a txt saying I hadn't heard from him.... He finally responded and said he'd see if someone was available. Hours later.... radio silence. I then sent ANOTHER txt that day and he just completely ignored me. Like are you kidding dude???? I could've reached out to another company that weekend if you didn't have availability or didn't want to work with me. Just like you... my time is money. I sat around that weekend waiting for you to tell me if/when your team was coming and clearly that was a waste of my time & energy. Thankful for the great quote, the team's overall professionalism and the assistance I got initially, but leading customers on and then ghosting them is seriously just rude... I'm sure there's a ton of people who have had better experiences. I'm assuming mine is a fluke - bad timing or they're just mad about the first time they sent a team and didn't get to do any work. I had many concerns and questions, and he never failed me to provide answers. I was especially worried about the graffiti on my neighbor's property and he analyzed it and asked his team and later explained to me why it should not be a problem. I now moved in to my house, and he was correct about the graffiti next door. It was no big deal. What I appreciated most about Angel is that he has always been honest and never try to up sale anything beyond my needs. And if there was any misunderstandings, he made sure I as a customer came out happy which I find it a rare quality in retail businesses. When there were extra sensors needed when my tech Matt came out, Angel personally apologized and he gladly paid for them out of his pocket. Angel continually supports me with all my ADT questions or other security concerns and products I continually have. I feel very fortunate to have met him because not only I've installed ADT system, but I feel like the System comes with Angel's ongoing quality service. He also assured that he is sending me a good tech named Matt. Matt was a good guy with patience and honesty. He not only took time to explain all my questions, but made sure he left no trash behind. He removed every pieces to my trash bin. I was impressed. Based on my experience, usually when service tech guys come out, they leave debris or trash behind, but Matt did not. In between installing the ADT sensors, he fixed my multiple window blinds calmly and even taught me how to fix them on my own. He is a good man like Angel. When Matt left, he gave me his cell phone number and said that I can call him if any more concerns and questions I may come up with. And I did, right after he took off, and he called me back right away, and asked if I had any more concerns. I feel security people need to be extremely responsible and competent because they can contribute in saving peoples' lives, and I believe Angel's team carries pride and a strong sense of responsibility for what they do.
