We went to Breeze on 3 occasions in the past two years. The vibe is that of a cluttered general…read morestore with some merch and a bunch of informal communal tables. The handwritten menu on the chalkboard is cute and rustic. However, the service we experienced was the WORST!! Food was okay, just average, with small portions and extremely high prices: The omelet is large enough to feed a child, not an adult, and the Maine lobster roll is also small yet overpriced at around $30+$7 for French fries. $40 with fries, tax and tip makes the price higher than NYC prices. The $4.50 coffee cup does not include a refill (we were not aware that there was an extra charge for coffee refills util we saw the bill). For a simple light breakfast, also expect to spend an average of $40 per person! Last year, the gentleman server/proprietor was extremely rude and crude and disrespectful. This year, we had a similar dismissive experience with the other owner from Hawaii. For the sake of the survival of the business, I hope both owners would stay away from customer service and hire a more pleasant server instead. They both severely lack the communication skills and the enthusiasm to serve and be helpful. We decided that our last order would be a take-out. After ordering, we were asked not to wait for the food order inside the store; the proprietor asked to wait outside instead. A short time later, we were handed our food in several takeout white foam boxes, without a carry-out bag! The hinges popped open while trying to balance the boxes while carrying them. The quantity was a little disappointing but the quality was unacceptable because one of the fish orders we picked up was undercooked and could not be consumed! The rest of the food though was tasty.

Food was OK, but they tried to charge me for two drinks I didn't have (could have been an honest…read moremistake), but then they inflated the charge to my credit card by one dollar. I guess an 18 percent tip wasn't good enough. One dollar isn't a big deal, but dishonesty is.

Service was excellent; food was amazing! We started with local oysters that were tasty and fresh. Then my husband had the cod with crispy rice and I decided to pick 2 starters as my mains; the tuna crudo and lobster hand roll. All great! Topped it off with a chocolate ganache with the most intense strawberry coulis I've tested in a while; it was fingerlicking good! All people we met were super friendly and helpful, so definitely would recommend stopping in Bucks restaurant when you're in the area.

Bright, clean, cheerful decor with Maine art on the walls. Our server who was pleasant, willing and very attractive just graduated from high school with no experience still did a terrific job of meeting all our needs. The food was beautiful and very tasty. My cod was poached in a bright acidic ponzo flavored sauce was cooked perfectly with the silken texture which is hard to achieve except with very exact cooking. It was served over cooked scallions and was one of the best things I have eaten this summer. Simple salad was fresh and perfect. 2 pieces of toasted sourdough bread was an extra charge. Lasangna was vegetarian with a slightly spicy fresh tomato sauce and a generous portion attractively presented. For dessert we has a outstanding grapefruit sorbet and a luscious blueberry sauced tres leches cake. We had an overall great experience and the new young and friendly owners have done a wonderful transformation of well beloved restaurant.

Seeing it in the distance fills me with an overwhelming sense of excitement as it meant returning to one of my favorite hiking spots in New England (so far) and beginning a weeklong binge on Maine's freshest seafood. I absolutely love this tiny and unassuming (from the outside) seafood market and couldn't wait to be back again this year. Last year, it was the first stop to pick up ingredients for my weeklong visit to Acadia National Park. This year, after a whole year of telling anyone and everyone I knew visiting Acadia, it was once again my first stop after I started driving from Boston. Loaded Lobster Roll - check. Loaded Crab Roll - check. Dorr Hoodie - check. Fresh scallops - check. 5# bag of steamers - check. Calamari salad - check. A pair of lovely fresh and alive lobsters for later - check. Some of the freshest stuff at really competitive prices. What's there not to like? Oh yeah, there is Tim with his super sarcastic sense of humor. A conversation with him just absolutely cracks me up. Super nice dude with a lot of information and makes the overall experience here even better than it already is. I also got to meet the father and son owners during this visit. Always glad to meet the hardworking fishermen behind the amazing product that I've become addicted to.

They have fresh and frozen soups for sale, and a single refrigerator display of a few fine pieces of seafood. They do the lobster, too, of course. I went with the scallops, a quart of New England Clam Chowder, and two pounds of fresh haddock. My wife made some awesome fish and chips with the haddock, had some beautiful sautéed scallops, and the soup was excellent. Was about $75 for everything, and we'd come back. The two gentlemen running the place answered all my questions and were more than happy to assist.
