One view from just outside the restaurant.

We stayed at a B&B and the owners suggested two restaurants and in more conversation with them decided on this one. We were told they don't take reservations and it would be a 10 minute drive so we came here and there was a 20 minute wait, which was fine for the six of us. The restaurant is right on the harbor with a beautiful view of the boats and water, which added to the experience. My wife loved her beet salad and totally was a clean plater. I had fish tacos which were just okay, nothing special. Our friends thought their burgers were good and each couple only finished maybe half their fries. Megan M was a good server and appeared to have lots of tables to serve. We talked with locals who said they come here anywhere from monthly to quarterly so it's a well liked place. There's also a nice walk along the harbor while waiting for our table.

Really cute place downtown on the water. We went mid October, so most the seasonal help was gone already, but the staff did great to still keep service awesome. The beet salad and mussels were delicious. The table next to us had the lobster and said it was great. And the blueberry margarita was a perfect toast to Maine. If there's a wait, there's plenty of shops to check out nearby to kill a bit of time. And the view is beautiful.

Seafood Dining on The Wharf *Ordered The Twin ($84) Whole Lobster with Caesar Salad +$8 & Russet Fries *A nice ROMANTIC and messy SHARE with my Husband *Served with Clarified Butter Told that they exclusively do not have Garlic Clarified Butter which was disappointing. *Beautiful scenery but Tables are too small for multiple plates. They also weren't flexible with seating. Was told by Hostess that she could not seat us in the shade. First time I have ever heard that. Blueberry Tini and Blueberry Margarita were well executed. Expensive but well executed.

Delicious! The place was very busy, so we sat at the bar -- and I'm glad we did. I had the espresso martini and the blueberry lemon martini -- both absolutely delicious. The lobster corn chowder was loaded with huge chunks of lobster and full of flavor. The oysters were amazing, and the crab cakes were the best I've ever had -- perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. A truly memorable meal from start to finish.

We visit every summer and Peter Ott's is on the current rotation. Love sitting on the waterfront and watching the boats. The blueberry margarita is delicious! A must try. Menu is limited. Everything we've tried over the years has been good. The blueberry tart was amazing!! Looking forward to next year.

Been there often ... never disappointed, quality food, cocktails and their service is always spot on.

cute waterfront gem right on the pier, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. We were able to walk in without a wait, which was a nice surprise. The menu is limited but offers a good mix of options. The mussels were a standout--tender and flavorful. We went with the cold lobster roll special; the portion was fair, but the flavor didn't quite stand out. Service was friendly and efficient.

It is a beautiful location. And the bartenders were friendly. But... the lobster roll was a pretty darn slimy (not a good sign), the service was mediocre and there seemed to be little awareness of these issues among the staff. If you want ambiance go for it.

We have somehow neglected this restaurant on numerous vacations to the immediate area so this year we did our best to make amends. The location overlooking the harbor is beautiful and service throughout our meal was grand. We started off by sharing a delicious goat cheese and beet salad that included house pickled beets and onion on a base of arugula topped with a balsamic and honey dressing. Each of us chose the seared salmon with maple chipotle glaze as our entree with accompanying sides of mashed potato and grilled summer squash. Perfectly prepared and delicious.

This is a cool spot located on the river and the ambiance is wonderful. We wanted to sit outside but the temperature had dropped so we opted for inside seating. We also tried to get a reservation but they were full so we waited about 20 minutes for a table. It was somewhat confusing to figure out the exact location of this place and parking was minimal and not convenient. I suggest walking or taking an Uber if possible or going early. We waited a long time at the bar for a glass of wine and I wish they would have had another person to help in that area as many were waiting for their spirits. We ordered side salads that were delicious and fresh. I ordered the lobster chowder and this was satisfying and a good serving. I would have loved more lobster but it was fine. My sister ordered the dockside burger and she enjoyed it. It was cooked well and was a good serving. We enjoyed our meal and visit here.

Located right on the waterfront in downtown historic Camden, Peter Ott's is a casual eatery offering up local seafood and cuisine (with a great view). We arrived at around 6:15 and there was a wait to be seated outdoors and a short line to wait in for indoor seating. Our waitress was very friendly but seemed a bit overworked so her visits to our table to check-in were a bit infrequent. We went with the Lobster BLT and Lobster Alfredo per our server's advice and both were good. My sister enjoyed the BLT and the alfredo was good (and locally made) but other than the texture which gives it away, you wouldn't know you were eating lobster so I would probably save my money and just order the chicken alfredo if I ever make my way back. It's location and ambiance gave off tourist vibes (I didn't gather that a lot of locals were dining around us) so take that for what you will but it does offer diners a central location, waterfront views, and locally sourced food.

Recommended by a friend and our host at Whitehall Inn. So good!! Delicious lobster roll and clam chowder! Our southern waitress from NC was wonderful. And the view to the harbor was delightful.

Have returned twice since then. As the menu is small and hasn't changed since my first visit, the charm has worn off. I usually share the roast half chicken plus 2-3 sides. The meal was absolutely flavorful on my first visit but not so much the last visit in Dec 2025. Maybe it was a bad night? I thought the flavors fell flat and service was not as attentive. I was celebrating the holidays by treating friends to dinner and had to wave down someone twice to order rounds of drinks. I will give any establishment 20 stars if they are paying attention as to whether your glass is half empty. For me, the food can be excellent or blah but excellent service can make or break a restaurant.

The Bavarian pretzels were good (although not quite what I expected when ordering). For beer, there were only a few options I could tell were on house draft. I tried their blood orange wheat beer, which had great citrus flavor but basically no real beer flavor (It would be great for someone who wakes up farmhouse style wheat beer, which is not me). I ended up ordering the IPA, which was fine but nothing spectacular/special. The ambiance was good; was there for lunch and was seated outside. There were some families with kids, but no one was too rambunctious. The service was ok, and is the only aspect where I'm docking a star on my rating; service was fairly slow and only really came when it was getting to the "where are they" stage. The actual serving was fine, but we didn't really see the wait staff enough to check in (or order a second drink). There is definitely room for improvement. My husband and I visited for drinks and spent a few hours at the bar. During the first part of our visit, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was friendly, we enjoyed meeting other patrons, including several Canadian Army veterans on a motorcycle tour, and the service from the initial bartender was excellent. We appreciated being allowed to play a complimentary game of pool. Unfortunately, the experience changed dramatically after the bartending shift change. From that point on, we felt unwelcome and believed staff chose to side with a small group of patrons during a disagreement rather than taking the time to understand the situation. Ultimately, we were asked to leave, which came as a complete surprise and left us feeling embarrassed and disappointed. What makes this especially frustrating is that we had spent a significant amount of money at the establishment and had been enjoying ourselves without issue for most of the evening. the way the situation was handled left us feeling dismissed and unfairly treated. Based on this experience, I would not return and don't recommend this establishment to other visitors.
