They were super slow and I had to ask them to load faster. They didn't even bring water, I'm moving, I have nothing, I had to send the kids to the store for water. The dolly left huge rust stains on the flooring that I had to hand scrub. One of the guys was obviously really drugged out. Either way I tipped them $50 each. I moved across the country and a tv was broken upon arrival. I sent pictures and dispatch told me to leave a bad review, they refuse any responsibility. My daughter went to college here and I have been paying for the storage for a full year. Called 1 week before I was scheduled to come to NOLA and was told that I needed 2 BUSINESS DAYS to schedule a delivery although my initial paperwork says 2 days ( regular, I presume). They have dropped the ball on every twist and turn. They are NOT a regular company, they are a 3rd party scheduler. They don't own the storage facility or the delivery company. The hold times to talk to someone can reach up to 30-40 mins at a time. I was leaving to for vacation ( out of the country) from New Orleans and needs to make sure all was set BEFORE I left. I was assured it was all set and lo and behold after I arrived in Mexico, I received an email stating that the delivery could be done and that I would have to wait until MONDAY!!! Problem is I was leaving on Saturday, which I stressed on many, many occasions. I had to send an email to Closetbox to transfer the receivership to another friend who was to receive my items. Day of delivery: NO SHOW!!! The 3rd party delivery company was never given my transfer of receivership or the contact phone number of the new person to confirm delivery and so the company called me and of course being in Mexico, I didn't answer so they didn't deliver. Day that I came back, expecting a delivery the day before, no dice! Couldn't get delivery on the day I came back because the storage facility is CLOSED ON SATURDAYS! Who the hell closes a storage facility on the weekend?? ...,The most popular day to move stuff??? With the amount of money I have paid monthly $60/month for an entire year! ($720) I expect better customer service. Very, very disappointed! UPDATE: The items were delivered on Monday with no notice to my friend. Every item in the storage was molded and wet and rendered unusable. The TV was broken and waterlogged. They obviously had a flood, and failed to tell me. I'm so upset right now.

After hours and hours of researching moving companies for my relocation from New Orleans to…read moreHouston, and reading horror stories about even some of the more well-known and highly rated national companies, and their responses, which all took pains to point out that there was bound to a few disgruntled clients, I found ADmovers and after a call to them, in which they gave acceptable answers to key questions: 'They themselves do the moving; they are not a broker; guaranteed next day unloading in Houston(barring acceptable unforseen circumstances) -no warehousing of our stuff for weeks before delivery - one flat fee once the assessment of the cost of the move has been made (no jacking up of the price when half the stuff has been loaded, etc,) The were very professional in all aspects of the process but on top of that they displayed a courtesy and just plain kindness towards two septuagenarians by accommadating some requests which were outside of their remit. They dismantled, transported and re-assembled our furniture without any breakage, marring or loss, (the destination was a 2-storey house and our bedroom furniture is heavy solid mahogany. Covid-19 has changed our life and how we operate and because of it my apartment complex required all tenants moving out to have the units professionally cleaned. Instructions were given to the owner as well as a explanation that a walk through could not be permitted once the service is completed because of Covid and cross contamination. Fast forward the business completed the service and texted photos showing the service. However, to my surprise some detailed photos were not shown. The manger called and stated that I would be charged for cleaning and of course I was shocked since I hired this company. I asked the manager to FaceTime from the unit in order to verify and I could not believe what I was seeing. The Appliances, vents, and closet carpets were not cleaned. There was butter and onion peels in the refrigerator, hair on the floor, grease on the stove, and dust on the blinds. This is crucial because it was a move out service. I immediately contacted the business and forwarded the photos that the manager took and to my surprise all I heard were excuses. I requested a refund for half of the services because I'm fair and believe the bathrooms and hardwood flooring were cleaned appropriately. The owner again failed to acknowledge my request for a refund. I then called the manager and owner on conference and again nothing but excuses and zero accountability. I do not recommend anyone to use this business in the future. Customer service and completing the service in which you pay is key to a successful business and I received neither. She was professional and explained each service in full detail as far as cleaning types and add-on services. I have a 3BR 2Bath home with den, living room and she cleaned every room excellently. I also added on the upholstery cleaning of 2 chairs and they look brand new! She even showed us the dirt that cake off and also gave us instructions for care for the next few days. The whole home took them about 2hrs. They cleaned with no distractions and were very friendly and at times I hardly noticed them. They had great cleaning products and professional tools. I am a musician and need access to some gear on a moment's notice and experienced this "inventory lockout" on the last day of the month several times when I needed my stuff and couldn't get to it. I simply forgot about the lockout at the end of the month and it was inconvenient to plan around rather than having true 7 day a week access. Be aware of this. *Had auto-debit set up for my unit and had to replace my debit card; this of course meant my payment was rejected since the old card was canceled. Instead of simply calling or emailing me, they sent a snail mail letter telling me my form of payment was cancelled and since I don't get to check my mail all that often I was charged a late fee. Again, not criminal customer service - it is my responsibility to pay for contracted services after all but they could have picked up the phone or at least emailed. They have all my contact information and it would have saved me a late fee after at least 1 year of on time payments. *The 30 something male manager was very personable and friendly and let me know how much he appreciated my business, but the other employees I encountered were not in the business of smiling or communicating in a friendly customer service oriented way. It's just a given that if you're not ordering from a fast food restaurant that you're treated as a valued customer from top to bottom. I was not given this feeling from all of their staff. I felt strongly enough about not having my expectations met to take my business elsewhere.
