When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that the technician would be there shortly. 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment, no technician is in sight. The receptionist was not exactly helpful as she was making multiple personal phone calls while I was waiting, and didn't provide me with an update on the technician's arrival or any apology about the delay. Thankfully, one of the other technicians Andres noticed I had been waiting a while and was able to repair the crack quickly. Not all of the crack was able to be filled and he informed me that the crack may grow over the winter, but seeing as this is my first experience having a crack repaired, I'm not sure if that's atypical or not.

However, I had to return multiple times and was frustrated with the quality of service. The first new windshield replacement they installed had a large scratch down the middle of the driver-side, which I noticed as I was driving off the lot. I returned and asked them to look at it. They determined it couldn't be buffed out and the whole windshield had to be replaced again. Stuff happens; I get it. I came back again next day to have it replaced a second time. Fortunately, they replaced it under warranty at no cost to me given they installed a damaged product. During the second visit, the windshield replacement went smoothly but when I left, my windshield wipers weren't working. I went back inside moments after walking out of the office and was told they were now closed and no one could take a look to see what the problem was. They said I would have to come back again tomorrow to have it looked at. It was only a couple minutes after 5 and a number of staff were still there who could have easily looked and reconnected the hoses (which turned out to be what was wrong) without making me take more time off from work to come back a third time. I was able to reconnect the hoses myself later after some handy YouTube videos but I was disappointed with the level of service and their disrespect for my time, especially when the issues were caused by their technicians. I would not return to this location.

A-Z is the first thing that comes into my mind whenever there's anything that needs to be done on my car. Everyone there is so friendly, and always trying to be of help. What really blew my mind was when Billy told me that he wants all his customers to feel special. Exceptional professionalism! I'm so glad that I decided to go to A-Z to get my very first state inspection done when I first moved here 4 years ago. I have been recommending A-Z to everyone I know, and will keep on recommending this awesome auto center for sure!

tl;dr they broke my brake light while completing work on a different part but are blaming it on me…read more Took my car here for the state inspection where they said I needed to replace the center taillight due to condensation building up in it (which they outlined in the paperwork). I had to pick up my car to go to work without the work completed because they were taking so long. When I went in to pick up my car I saw they had tried to replace the top brake light and broke it. When I confronted them, they said that it had always been broken and that's what failed the inspection. Once I pointed out the obvious lie in the paperwork they changed their story and said that they missed the broken brake light and that I would need to get it fixed by the next inspection and still need to replace the center taillight. So now I'm out about $1000 for a broken brake light they broke and are refusing to own up to.

He stated someone would call me in 3 days that never happened. Then I spent the next 4 weeks trying to contact them to get the issue fixed with no response or urgency. Why it didn't get done when my window was replaced, I have one guess and it's the guy who did it was just ready to go home. I don't remember him telling me why he couldn't do it but I do remember him rushing out.

I selected Toucan somewhat blindly when their name was provided by my insurance company on a list of local service centers. I couldn't have luckier in choosing them to repair my car. Gustavo reached out almost immediately to schedule my appointment. He was friendly and accommodating. I was able to drop off my car the same evening after regular business hours. Gustavo also provided consistent updates (via text, email, and phone calls) about my car's progress. I even inquired about having some other minor damage (not related to accident) taken care of at the concurrently and was provided with a prompt quote. I didn't end up having the additional repairs done, but I was completely floored when I picked up my car and saw that they'd done the work anyway -- AT NO CHARGE! I was beyond satisfied with the level of work and care from Toucan Auto Service. My car is ten years old but it felt like getting behind the wheel of a brand new one. Thank you, Gustavo and team!
