Driving down I-85 is perilous at best, but when a huge rock hits your windscreen and scares the sheeeep out of you it's even worse. I've had to replace my windscreen once in the 3 years (come May) that I have had my car, and now I got hit again by a huge rock from a Semi going WAYYY too fast in the LEFT lane, I was incensed! The fury is real folks, I get that trucks are trying to get our things and stuff to us in a timely fashion, that being said; the highway should not be a raceway! I digress..... So with this issue I now have a deep gouge in my windscreen, my particular one is very expensive due to cameras mounted in it, for safety reasons and such. SO we called Safelite! They came by but couldn't do anything due to the humidity last week but were back today. Chap was absolutely great!! He had charisma, knowledge, customer service skills that are unparalleled, and was so very careful in his work. Even when there was an issue with the payment process, he maintained his professionalism and calm under pressure!! We will definitely ask for Chap again, he fixed my windscreen so well! Another employee that I want to shout out to is Heather for her assistance with the payment issue, not only did she solve the issue, she gave us a discount and a brand new set of wiper blades!!! The whole experience was awful. My windshield has leaked since it was replaced almost one year ago on a brand new 3 month old car. The leak began the next day after having the windshield replaced. The employees spoke to me very degrading . The nerve of these people asking if I left the window or sunroof open or Blaming it on a clogged drains !!! The manager thinks it's condensation that only when it rains. Wow !!!!! The people there should not be allowed to deal with people!!! So much for a life time warranty. I had a appointment scheduled but had got a better deal like a hundred dollars cheaper and they come to you . They have a fifty dollar fee for coming four blocks down the road . I do like that they have a option to make payments. However I'm a hundred dollars richer . If they compared prices I think I would had stayed with them. read more

This was my first time having to get a repair to my window due to a rock. I went online and put in my information, scheduled a date for the following day and got a call from safelite for confirmation. Went to my appointment and no more than 40 minutes later, my window was fixed and I was on my way. Will NEVER allow this Safelite to touch one of my vehicles again. Bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon & drove it through a construction zone. A truck unfortunately slung up a rock & cracked the windshield. Safelite sent an untrained technician to my home. After he chipped my paint outside the vehicle, gouged my dash & rear view mirror with a screwdriver, & broke a clip inside the forward collision censor, he told me he wasn't well trained on Jeep Wranglers & couldn't get my windshield back in or how he wanted it. Safelite asked me to bring the vehicle into their shop in Gastonia. They just fixed the lining on the outside. Nothing for the chipped paint, gouged & broken parts, etc. My new vehicle has never been the same. I'm still replacing parts in the broken forward collision censors from their untrained technician & there's been a consistent rattle ever since. Heed this warning & DO NOT let this place touch your vehicles. My loaded dream car is now an rattling mess. Don't do it to yourself. read more

Having the ability to adjust the scheduling of appointment was extremely convenient. When I walked through the door I was greeted as if I had been a customer for years. The woman behind the desk was a delight to work with. She was very personable and put a smile on my face. She offered me drinks and helped me through a difficult time. She went above and beyond and it surely made a difference. The technician was also personable. He thoroughly explained everything and even had my vehicle down before the expected completion time. I had my windshield done on my car this morning. Home appointment. The kid that showed up left BOTH of my windshield wiper bolts loose. One didn't even have the washer put back on and was laying in the tray DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF IT. Also left out two of the plastic push pins and after looking for a second I found both of them on top of my motor. There were also two torques bit bolts that he stripped that I'll be sending them a bill from Ford to have replaced. I've had safelite put in probably six windshields in different cars over the years and been fine every other time but this was blatant laziness and disregard for someone's property. read more

Fist appointment to replace my windshield went fine. After a few months, a crack appeared. There is no visible damage of any kind, but the technician claims it was caused by impact, therefore not covered by warranty. There is no way to prove the circumstances either way but it is apparent to me because the vehicle was parked in a garage the whole week. This was not caused by impact. Very disappointing they don't stand behind their product and service. National warranty is a joke. Taking my business elsewhere, permanently. So They Came Out To Replace My Rear Passenger Side Window. I Thought It All Went Well Until I Went To Unlock My Car Door And Noticed It Wouldn't Unlock Mind You I Never Had This Problem Before Hand And The Technician Also Broke My A Piece Of My Door Handle And Left The Broken Piece On The Floorboard. They Charged Me 390.00 Dollar's To Tear Up My Car. So Upon Noticing This I Tried Calling Multiple Times And Could Not Get Anyone To Call Me Back. I Also Reached Out To Them Via Email 3 Times And No One Has Yet Responded To Them. I Do Not Recommend This Company To Anyone. They Have Very Poor Customer Service And Apparently It Is Ok For A Technician To Break Things In Someone's Car And Not Notify Them Of The Incident. I Will Be Contacting A Lawyer Because I Shouldn't Have To Repair What I Didn't Break Nor Should I Have Been Charged 390.00 For Someone To Come Out And Destroy My Car.
