We had a great experience with Safelight AutoGlass in Hudson. After we made the appointment, we received several confirmation texts confirming our appointment date and time. The information said the car would be ready within three hours. I don't have the receipt so I misplaced our techs name, however, we dropped off the car and the tech was waiting and ready for us. He came out to check the car, took the keys and said the car would be ready in 2 to 3 hours. Very nice and professional. The storefront was very clean, had coffee available and clean restrooms. Within the three hours he called and confirmed the car was ready. We picked up the car, insurance took care of the windshield and Windshield looks great! Overall the process was easy and we had a nice experience. I would recommend Safelight Hudson. read more

In no fashion could I ever recommend anyone use this company for service, they will damage your vehicle and they will try and leave you with the bill. On Monday March 2nd I was scheduled to have my windshield replaced, during this service they installed the wrong glass even though while making the appointment I answered the question for whether or not my vehicle was equipped with a heads up display they decide to install glass for a vehicle without, to add to this situation they left my vehicle completely filthy with some sort of sticky residue left in spots all over my hood, all over the inside of the new glass, and somehow on my outside mirrors. After contacting support I was given a new appointment date for Wednesday March 4th, on that morning I received a call stating the person doing the replacement would arrive between 2 and 4 pm however they showed up at 11:30. Do to my work I was asleep at this time and do not appreciate the change of time by over 2 hours. None of these previous problems contend with the real issue, during the first service the person doing the job accidentally broke my mirror by damaging a wire for it. As of now Monday March 9th the company is refusing to fix what they broke and instead are trying to blame a previous service to the vehicle which happened over a year ago when their has been no fault of the system in all of that time and would still be working perfectly had they not broken it. During the service they decided to hang the interior rearview mirror by its wiring from the roof of the car rather than unplugging and properly dismounting the mirror, this caused a wire to be damaged as they are not designed to hold the weight of a mirror. Even after raising concern about this on the first service they continued to do it again on the second. It is entirely unacceptable for a company of this size to damage your vehicle and refusing to make it right. I had a rock hit my windshield, right in the central vision of the driver. I went to my insurer who recommended Safelite but said I could choose the vendor of my choice. It was easy to go right from my insurer's app to Safelight and it listed when appointments were available. I scheduled one for two days later and they were to come to the house between noon and five p.m. Changed things around to make this work. They never showed up and never contacted me to let me know that they weren't coming. Now I am stuck. Very poor customer service. read more

Poor customer service. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance, through my insurance company, to repair my windshield. On the day of the appointment they called to say the new windshield hadn't been delivered yet, and asked if if I could leave the car with them for the day. I didn't want to do that since the shop is over 10 miles from my home. They said they would see what they could do. Four hours later, after not hearing from them, I called back. The manager said they wouldn't have time today to do the repair, but could schedule me for next week. I said no and made an appointment with another auto glass shop close to home. I thought it would be easy to get the repair done with a insurer-recommended shop but it was just a big hassle and I don't trust them any more. Had a relatively routine cracked windshield due to a stray rock on the highway, and, after filing our claim with our insurance company, chose Safelite to perform the repair. Quincy, our service tech, called to give us an ETA, showed up on time with a friendly smile and a firm handshake, and immediately got to work. He was done ahead of schedule and made sure all of our questions were answered and we knew the dos and don'ts of our new windshield. A+ service. We will definitely be using Safelite again and name-requesting Quincy as our tech if possible. read more

Got the run around from this company....Got a quote, did not schedule and then went to schedule the next week and price went up 200.00. Continued on to the schedule screen with the new quote and no appotiements for Husdon WI location for weeks. I tired the chat... he could not help me... and then the chat person gave me a customer service number... I called that and she could not pull up the Hudson location. Told me here was not a location in my area. WTH.....Ended that call and then got a text I had an appt in Mpls. WTH.....I told her I did not want to schedule in Mpls. I found and called a different number customer service number I found on line and she still could not schedule me. She quoted me a third amount(50.00 less than the online one) and I asked is my coupon code would work. She did not recognize the discount code from an email I got from Safelight. Then, I asked her to give me the the number directly to the Hudson store so I could directly talk to the store in my area and she stated they don't have a direct line. Great service, quick windshield replacement. Had a huge crack in my windshield caused by a rock that flew off a work truck. I called it into my insurance company and they put me in contact with Safelite. I scheduled an appointment with a service employee and she came out to my work location to assess the damage that same day. The windshield could not be mended and needed to be replaced. A few minutes later their office called me to schedule an appointment. I waited in the waiting area while my windshield. The waiting room has a help-yourself Keurig machine with a good variety of beverages to choose from. The whole process of replacing my windshield took about 1.5 hours and throughout the process the service person came into the waiting area to give me updates. The customer service here is phenomenal. I would recommend this location to anyone who needs windshield replacement or repair. read more

He called in the morning to let us know when he'd be at our location, and we received a text to let us know he was on the was and his ETA. I received excellent service from this location. After booking through Geico, Holden, the service mngr, called me to confirm everything. The replacement took three hours and instead of waiting in the lounge (because we only had one car), Holden drove us to downtown Hudson so my wife and I could have lunch, window shop and walk the area while the windshield was being replaced. Three hrs on the dot, Holden called us, said the car was ready and picked is back up to bring us back to the shop. I highly recommend this location. Poor service. "Overbooked by insurance company," they say---problem needs to be resolved by them and not be passed on to me. I say they are understaffed. So my appointment was cancelled. New one made for next day and when we dropped off car, they called to say they didn't have the right glass. What?!!???
