IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE STAY AWAY FROM THE MUPPETS THAT WORK FOR SAFLITE!!!!!! Once again this place disappoints and shows true professional level incomatance. One of the only company's I have ever delt with that my vehicle comes out in worse shape then when it went in. In December I called to have them come out to my house to have them replace my windshield and they no called no showed twice. So I waited a few months and decided to get it done now hoping if I go to the shop things would be better. But nope. Now they just decide to scratch my $60k truck. I mean shit why not it's not theirs why do they care? So after putting in my glass the tech goes to back out apparently using a "spotter" some how spotter does see the stool near the truck nor does the driver and they don't hear my trucks parking assist arm screaming about the object near it and they hit and scratch my bumper....... Fing awesome..... thank you....... this company is a joke. What makes me laugh about this whole thing is that while I am there the manager is interviewing a new employee in the office and I could hear him telling this guy how " this is the big leagues of auto glass we are professionals here" yea sure dude. Professionals at messing up everything they touch. Only reason I went back to this dump is because they excepted my insurance online and it wasn't a fight to get it approved. Honestly, don't waste your time at this business. I specifically called the store to gain more information (not the 800 number) the actual store! An A.I. assistant answered the phone, I said "connect me to a representative twice" the A.I. tried connecting me to somebody and put me on a call loop for over ten minutes, I decided to just wait until I got to the store to ask my question. When I was cashing out (I'll talk more about that incident in a second) The phone was ringing and the associate blatantly ignored the call as the phone kept ringing. Not even a quick "can you hold please" just straight up ignored. I could only assume that's what happened to me earlier. Not only was this about an ignored phone call. When I got my quote it said it was going to be about $172 just to fix a chip in my windshield that had not exceeded even three inches of a crack (I can only hope this repair works because that will be the only saving grace from the terrible customer service I received). The associate adjusted my quote to then say my repair would be about $146 and had told me that he could replace my cabin filter and my windshield wipers for free on top of that and then... charged me for the windshield wipers! for... a grand total of about 172 dollars and quite possibly, the cheapest windshield wipers money could buy. I went to the store in person and got swindled by a fast talking associate who seemed lost and confused at any given moment. Save yourself time and money by getting a quote at a local shop where you can talk to a real person about a real quote that is hopefully far more organized than this business. read more

Safelite advertises a lot, so I thought it an obvious choice. But I wanted to find something fast, so I wanted to know if a reservation was easily available. I tried on the web site, but it insisted on taking a ton of personal data before it would just tell me if it could serve me. Some of that data helps it know if they have the part, and that makes sense, but they don't need an email address to say "yes, we can get you in as soon as you need". When it got to asking my insurance data, I drew the line. I don't want my insurance company involved unless they say they have an appointment, so I stopped and decided to call. But by now they had my email and are now doing direct marketing I wish I could stop because I'm not doing business with them ever again. Anyway, I called and the bot on the phone refused to let me talk to a person unless I gave it data that I'd already given once and anyway I was in a hurry. The office was not far, so I decided to chance it since it had told me that the needed parts were in stock. But when I got to the office, they said they took no responsibility for the phone or web stuff, that that was out of their control, and in fact they don't have inventory, no matter what the thing on the web said, and so I would definitely not be able to get an appointment. The guy was nice enough, but the overall organization went in my mind from super-nicely organized (when it first told me it could tell from my VIN number what part it needed) to really bad once I realized how this was slick but really uncoordinated. Now it was later in the day and I'd missed my chance probably on other places and I was starting to feel demoralized. By the way, I also tried putting in my plate number rather than a VIN number, and it told me it was registered to another car. I doubt that. All of these systems seem to ignore the trailing hyphen in plate numbers and prefer to send just the letters, so that probably got the same plate without the hyphen, but I am 100% sure I entered it correctly and the car it thinks it was registered to, it is not. Nor do I think that plate was in anyone else's hands ever, but certainly not for the last 20 years. That was before I gave it the VIN number, so it can't have been confusing that. Anyway, I have nothing good to say about this operation. I ended up going with a competitor and taking a day even farther out than Safelite probably could have gotten just because I was so aggravated with the way they handled things that I didn't want to deal with them. I recently had a small crack fixed. The tech communicated well;was on time and did a great job.

I arrived 1/2 hour before my appointment and they serviced my vehicle after a short wait. An hour later I left with a brand new, beautifully clear windshield! The employees were super professional and nice to deal with. I initially called a place in Brattleboro and the woman wanted me to drop off my car at 8:30 and pick it up at 5:00! No way! It was well worth the extra 1/2 hour to drive to Keene to Safelite! read more

They do good work and usually finish quickly but I will say if you have an option not to come in and wait painful in their cold tile waiting room don't. It isn't very enjoyable, there is a tv but you feel bad changing it with the other people waiting and it will feel like a lifetime even if they finish right away so if you have any other options I would say leave and come back. read more

Chose this shop over a closer one because of better reviews. The manager, Tom, called me to set things up and he was nice to talk to. My service was on Tue 03/09 for an OEM windshield replacement. Tom called me the Friday prior 03/05 and told me the windshield was in and I was good to go. He said he sent me an email stating I would owe $100 deductible (which we had previously discussed) and an additional $220 for an OEM price difference. Tom said to ignore the extra $220 as insurance would cover the OEM windshield and he hasn't seen it denied. On Tue 03/09 I went to the shop and the rep there told me I owed $320 and the OEM windshield had been denied. I told him I spoke to Tom and it should be all set. The rep said to call my insurance and asked what I wanted to do. I told him I was already here and didnt have much choice so I asked them to do the work. After the work was done, I spoke with Patrick (rep) and told him I was a little upset that no one called me from Fri (03/05) to Tue (03/09) to tell me the claim had been denied. Patrick said he didnt know why I wasnt notified and again told me to call my insurance (which I did) and asked me to do a survey. I asked Patrick to have Tom reach out to me. It is now 03/15 and I have not heard back from anyone. The windshield looks great and I know the price difference itself isnt that fault of Safelite but I should have been notified the OEM claim was denied and should have received a follow up call. read more

This place is great, incredibly efficient and professional. They could teach a class in customer service , I should know because I have. The office is immaculate, there's everything you could want available if you choose to wait. They even had HGTV on. I'd like to say , I can't wait to go back again but having a broken windshield isn't that great. This place is a winner. Satellite AutoGlass replaced my windshield a few weeks ago when I got a crack from a branch that fell on it from a canopy by our house. My experience was really positive and trouble free which, I have to say, is really nice to have. Almost a rarity these days. My insurance agent booked them and they came to my house within a few days. Chris, the tech who did the job, was competent, communicative throughout the job and answered all my questions. Upon completion, he left a number in case anything seemed off. I called them a few weeks later because I noticed the windshield liquid wasn't coming out very well on the left side since the replacement, and a different person swung by that same evening on his way home. It ended up being just a bent in the tubing. It was cold out, but the guy rechecked everything out. I felt like they took good care of my car and me as a customer, and Chris was great.
