Michael is both an excellent technician and ambassador for the brand. He communicated his arrival, came when expected. Once on site he was engaging, informative, polite, effective and thorough. Auto glass repair/replacement is rarely if ever a positive experience. I would expect that many in reviewing these kinds of things conflate their emotions about the damage/cost with what was actually done for them. I expected the company to show up with the correct window and someone who knows how to install it and then do so. I expect to pay a fair market price for that service (insurance issues are a separate kett;e of fish that Safelite is not responsible for). We got what we expected and are satisfied. Now if we can get Nissan to take responsibility for their exploding rear window on parked cars problem, we will be even happier. read more

Did a great job fixing my windshield. Very fast and efficient. My only complaint is my cell phone dock on my dash is now broken. Other than that, he replaced and cleaned the windshield to perfection. He even refunded the windshield wipers after I saw the cost of them on the receipt ($70 is absolutely ridiculous-don't pay that.) Over all, I would recommend them to anyone needed a replacement. read more

paid for a new windshield instead they just filled the half dollar size rock chip in drivers view. I can not get anyone to answer the phone to replace the glass. horrible place to do business with. They said if you might see black spot becuase the tech couldn't get all the air out and it might crack more. read more

Check your invoice with this company. They attempted to add an unusable window on my invoice when they couldn't replace my window on the first appointment due to they having only a used piece of glass in stock. Safelite replaced the windshield on my car on Jan 4, 2021. The outer perimeter of the windshield install does not appear to be properly sealed, and the install looks messy! In addition, the technician broke the cowpan and did not tell me about it. I reported these issues to Safelite, and after some time, when I was finally able to speak to him, Paul, the manger asked if I could bring my car into the shop so they could review the install, and do the work in the shop as the below temps in January could be a problem. quit and was told the part would be ordered to replace the cowpan. Safelite did not show up the day scheduled for replacement. When I called the installer to inquire, he said the part did not come in and someone was supposed to call me. The repair was rescheduled and a third technician came to my residence to fix the cowpan. He advised that he had worked the past hour on what should have taken a few minutes, and that the part broke again, saying he presume I want it fixed. I agreed. He said he would "let them know". To date, Safelite has not repaired the broken part. I called a few times to inquire and got a lot of hot air. A few months after no contact, a rep from Safelite called to say that they could try to find a used part because GM no longer makes the part. That was in March 2021. Today is July 27. My car has still not been repaired and I've heard nothing more from Safelite. A few awesome reviews do not tell the story of all of Safelite's totally unprofessional service and absolute deplorable customer service. I was a new customer who was referred by my insurance provider. The insurance provider gave me the names of two other vendors besides Safelite. Against my better judgment I chose Safelite because of all of its tv advertisement, appearance of professionalism, and their highly visible community presence. I learned my lesson. High visibility does not mean professionalism. And a smiling face does not equate to good customer service. I will never use Safelite again! And I suggest that you think twice before using them too. I guess I'm stuck with a broken cowpan! The replacement of my front windshield and installing of new wiper blades, front and back, was handled very professionally and very satisfactorily. Scott, the technician, arrived at the expected time at my home and completed the work in about an hour. It is wonderful to have a front windshield minus a crack that I drove around with for two years (that was obviously my fault). Their warranty is a scam. My 1000 dollar windshield was broken by apparently dropping my wiper blade about six inches. I have done this forever because it is a long wiper without any issues on correctly installed windshield. But it broke my thicker acoustic windshield they installed. There appears to be no recourse for me, they decide and of course it is their decision to not cover it. Go somewhere else more reputable. read more

They actually needed to reschedule the original appointment but did so with respect and understanding that it wasn't the best option for me and my family.
