Wouldn't leave. I finally told him he was being obnoxious and needed to leave. He acted like I was the rude one but STILL WOULDN'T leave. Mark this as the first time I have ever slammed the door in anyone's face in my life. Several other neighbors reported the exact same thing happening. He was going all over the place with this pricing, offered to do the first service for free, he was going to give me $500 if I signed up because he said he would still be making money off the contract through his commission, the whole thing was just not right with how many times he changed the pricing. The service tech that came out to my house was just as knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable and secure that I hired a good company. I just called them again in 2026 because I thought I had another infestation. Their prices were still affordable after six years. I scheduled my appointment, and then, after three more calls to Doug, I sent him a picture of the pest. Turns out it was tick. Doug was honest and cancelled my appointment, since I didn't need his service. He didn't try to lie or tell me I still needed service. I appreciate the honesty.

Their guy checked our bedroom but never pinpointed the source of the problem and quoted me $800 for a treatment anyway. Didn't inspire much confidence so I called Affordable Bed Bug Exterminators instead because they sounded so professional on the phone, they quoted me less than half the price and I figured they would be more specialized anyway. When I talked to Doug on the phone, I actually asked him why they're so cheap, and he explained they're a much smaller company with more efficiency and less waste so they are able to charge less. Sold! They sent James out to us the next day to treat our apartment as well as our downstairs neighbors' to be safe and within 10 minutes I was glad I chose ABBE. He located the bed bugs right away nestled away in our headboard and showed them to me. He was so patient and answered my many questions and he was so kind to my neighbor who was overwhelmed with the whole ordeal. His sweet demeanor gave us so much peace in an otherwise traumatizing and violating situation. Afterward I let my bed bug prisoner out of the jar to walk around in some of the treatment sprayed along our baseboards then put him back in the jar to watch what would happen. It's important to read disclosures when you get them. We decided to do it because the monthly fee adds up to what you would spend at Starbucks for a month. And then they take care of all bug problems you have like around the exterior as well as the earwigs and any other household pests you encounter included. We have a follow up in 2 weeks. They send you a prep sheet of how to make your house ready for your service. We put our pets in another room for a hour. There was no smell or residue. Our person was professional and explained the whole process.
