The service tech that came out to my house was just as knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable and secure that I hired a good company. I just called them again in 2026 because I thought I had another infestation. Their prices were still affordable after six years. I scheduled my appointment, and then, after three more calls to Doug, I sent him a picture of the pest. Turns out it was tick. Their guy checked our bedroom but never pinpointed the source of the problem and quoted me $800 for a treatment anyway. Didn't inspire much confidence so I called Affordable Bed Bug Exterminators instead because they sounded so professional on the phone, they quoted me less than half the price and I figured they would be more specialized anyway. When I talked to Doug on the phone, I actually asked him why they're so cheap, and he explained they're a much smaller company with more efficiency and less waste so they are able to charge less. Sold! They sent James out to us the next day to treat our apartment as well as our downstairs neighbors' to be safe and within 10 minutes I was glad I chose ABBE. He located the bed bugs right away nestled away in our headboard and showed them to me. He was so patient and answered my many questions and he was so kind to my neighbor who was overwhelmed with the whole ordeal. His sweet demeanor gave us so much peace in an otherwise traumatizing and violating situation. Afterward I let my bed bug prisoner out of the jar to walk around in some of the treatment sprayed along our baseboards then put him back in the jar to watch what would happen.
