I had overheard the guy telling his coworkers how he always wins the monthly sales incentive. I'm assuming it's because he talks naive drivers into unnecessary services by using scare tactics like he did with me. When he showed me the antifreeze tester and tried to trick me into believing it showed my antifreeze had "degraded" , I pointed out that what he was showing me was the ball that tests the fluid's ability to prevent freezing, nothing to do with it's effectiveness as a coolant and that I'm sorry he might not win this months sales incentive prize. He quickly finished the job I came in for and had me on my way. Seriously people, use ChatGPT and YouTube and do research about basic car service like changing filters and spark plugs. You'd be amazed at the hundreds if not thousands of dollars you can save yourself. These guys at Take 5 and Jiffy Lube didn't exactly graduate top in their class from mechanic's school or else they'd be making big bucks running their own garage. And be aware...if you pull in and there's a car waiting just outside a bay know that you're going to be there at least an hour if not longer and Dallas summer heat is not the kind of weather you want to have your car idling in with the AC running.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and was told by the representative that everything had been checked and that my car was in great condition. Approximately 20 minutes after leaving the appointment, one of my tires popped. After having the vehicle inspected elsewhere, I learned that two of my tires were bald and deteriorating from the inside. This was especially concerning because I had just been assured that the vehicle had been checked and everything looked fine. A proper inspection should have identified tires in that condition, particularly when they were deteriorated enough for one to fail shortly after leaving. I also discovered that the filter that should have been addressed during the service was not changed, which raised even more questions about how thoroughly my vehicle was actually inspected. I understand that routine maintenance cannot prevent every unexpected issue, but telling a customer that their vehicle has been checked and everything is fine creates an expectation that obvious safety concerns have actually been reviewed. Driving away with two severely worn tires, only to have one pop 20 minutes later, could have resulted in a much more serious situation. This experience has left me with very little confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the service I received. I would strongly recommend that customers independently verify their vehicle's condition rather than relying solely on the inspection performed here.

Leo worked a Saturday a day that the shop is not normally open to find the issues with the electrical. I have a 2013 335i e92, I was doing some basic maintenance on the car myself, so like any DIY doer i got to deep and needed help. They replaced the water pump and thermostat, traced down some electrical gremlins, with instrument cluster. This electrical process lead them under the manifold and into the dash to find all the issues. They also took time to explain what and why they were doing the different action, along with sending photos. I hope I don't have to use there services for another major issue but will definitely have them perform the maintenance that i should not perform.
