This is probably my hundredth review, but Fat Willis is a regular food establishment in our household. Its convenient location (next to our subdivision) makes it great for dining or to-go (which they do offer), AND they make really good pizza!!!!! Service can be a little slow during their busy days/hours, but the staff are always really nice. It can also get a little warm in there, but usually we just sit at the cooler side of the dining area. They have a generous bar with many, many TVs playing sports games. I think they might even host a trivia? My husband loves their fish-fry Friday's. The food is really good (for the price). I'm so sad they stopped carrying the lava cake dessert! Overall, this place is great! read more

Fat Willy's has a good varied menu and everything we've tried is good! It's a typical sports bar with many TVs. Service can be a bit slow due to understaffing but since we know that we don't get upset. We enjoy our time there. We go eat here nearly once a week. read more

We were at the Pima Air museum and searched for a lunch spot. Fat Willies was nearby. We arrived at what looked like a gated community and were greeted and directed to the restaurant. The neighborhood appeared to be a snowbird refuge with modular homes and golf carts. I ordered the sirloin tips caesar salad and my friend ordered the Swiss cheese and mushrooms burger. The burgers were on special but, only if you had also ordered a drink. As I had already asked for water, I went for the salad. The server came back and said that they were out of the sirloin tips. I opted for the shrimp instead. My friend enjoyed the burger and the salad came with grilled shrimp on top and was good however if I ordered it again I would get the dressing on the side as it was drenched. At the table next to us they were very excited as one of them had shot a hole in one on the golf course. It was a nice portrayal of the snowbird lifestyle. read more

So I stopped in here for a quick beer, the place is quite large and is attached to mini mart. It is located inside an RV park which is a bit weird at first but nothing off putting. I went to the bar and the BT was friendly and efficient. Plenty of tv's for sports viewing, and a separate dining area. Overall not a bad place to have a brew. The service is great. This place needs a makeover and healthier food options. It's too bright, dated and if you're diet conscious, you won't find what you want. If you want to take in some sports during happy hour, that's your best bet. If they have live music, that's also good. But It closes daily at 8pm, just when the party gets started! read more

Always good atmosphere and our waitress was great, I need to rate the calamari. I was shocked. At $15, we receive 6 round fried things that I thought they made a mistake and gave us onion rings. It was in a plastic basket that was only about 7" long. Do not buy the calamari. This should not have cost more than maybe $8. Really bad They need to take a look at the pricing. read more

We are staying at the RV Resort they are located in and mainly use them for to-go orders. Have been satisfied with those orders. We have found with any of the restaurants we've gone to for take out during covid we make sure to be there early for pickup to make sure food is hot. Some of our favorites are the burgers, the Southwest Egg-roll, stir fry bowls. Have set outside and service can be a little slow, and server needed to be reminded a couple of times about an order I was taking home for husband. All in all we have been happy with the take out service and happy to have a restaurant that takes a few minutes to walk to onsite. read more

First table, we said it had a dead roach on the floor. We moved and ordered anyway. Waitress was real inefficient seemed that she couldn't handle the new handheld computer device to take the order, especially when we changed a couple things. We stopped by for lunch and had so much fun with Kelli, our bartender! The Turkey Avocado Wrap was amazing! We came back for happy hour. The Chardonnay was great and the Southwest chicken egg rolls were fantastic! 100% better than Chili's! Our bartender, Michaela, served us with a nice sweet smile. This place is a joke! The food isn't good, the service is very bad, why are you here? Maybe just at the bar is valued. But they don't take pride in the food they serve or the service they provide. Tried to order potato skins from the Appetizer menu twice this week. They were out each time. Told us that the delivery is on Mondays. That's when we should be able to get them. My friend and I each ordered the country fried steak on Saturday evening November 18, 2023. The best thing about that meal was the signature sausage gravy. But the steak, the coding on it, and the vegetable medley were just awful. It was like the meat was frozen with the coding on it, then it was just heated, and then the gravy was poured on top. We have eaten here several times as we are staying in the RV park. Excellent menu, lots to choose from, and lots of appetizers. Some food items are excellent--the potato skins are delicious, garnished with very green lettuce strips--yum! and they have new menu items that we are going to try--steak tips Gorgonzola for one. The fish and chips is meh....I ordered a steak extra rare and it came out medium rare. Sent it back and it came back the second time still not rare enough. Guess they don't think I really want to eat extra rare meat! Mashed potatoes were very lumpy but served with delicious gravy. The steak didn't have much taste to it. We ordered the beef nachos and it was a BIG serving, enough for two, with delicious homemade salsa. The chips were fresh and crispy. They have cheese curds on the new menu but they are frozen, not fresh. Breakfast items are terrific--biscuits and sausage gravy, the breakfast wrap. More than once, our orders came out served lukewarm. Kitchen staff needs to communicate food is ready to servers, or servers need to check in with the kitchen more frequently. Service is very slow every time we have been there. So over all, the restaurant Nees to improve but we will continue to visit the restaurant and try various items as it is super convenient! read more

This is our favorite spot since moving to south Tucson! They are friendly and the food is good. Best time to go is Happy Hour M-F from 3-6 p.m. for drink and appetizer specials. Our other favorite days are Monday, Burger Day - $7.00 burgers with purchase of any beverage (non-alcoholic or alcoholic).
