Always love stopping by JoJo's and seeing Jo is always fun. Thank you for having us (Tucson Foodie happy hour). The brussel sprouts are always on point and that green vegan potato salad was amazing. Did I grab pictures of those nope but it was too good to grab my phone. lol The drink was amazing if you want a nice cocktail grab the Prickly Patch yummmm, and I ordered the Brussels to go for my family and now they want more.

JoJo's has been on my friend and I's list and we finally got to try it today! We came in around 10:30 on a Friday and the place was fairly empty. The restaurant is tucked away in an alley downtown, but the inside greets you with its cozy and fresh feel. The pastries at the counter had a nice mix of regular, gluten free, and vegan options. The outdoor seating in the back is also very cute and set up so that you get plenty of shade. You order at the counter and they give you a beeper that will tell you when your food is ready at the counter. I ordered the Nachos with chicken and my friend got Bentley's Tofu Burrito and an iced Caramel Brown Sugar Latte. The food came out fast and was more plentiful than I was expecting! I could see the nachos being a great sharing item for a the table. We both went home with leftovers and were satisfied. I feel the need to come back in the morning again for a study day to try their drinks and pastries, as well in the evening to try their dinner menu. JoJo's is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a good spot downtown!

Love coming back to this amazing oasis of food, live music, and eclectic decor. When visiting with friends for a day drip from Phoenix, we stopped at Jojo's for a bite to eat. I shared the nachos with a friend and got a few tacos plus a margarita. Delicious! My friends are both gluten free and vegan, and this spot caters to exactly such. My friend's meal was slightly delayed coming out. However, the lovely waitress made everything right by not charging her for the dish. My friend was so grateful. They are beyond friendly and welcoming here, and that is a testament to such. You could easily spend hours here after eating, exploring the decor and little shops surrounding the restaurant. All the greenery is stunning! Such an alternative, hippy dippy spot. Really love visiting time and time again.

Was excited to check out Jojo's after seeing it online. We were not disappointed. Love that there is a beautiful oasis in the city. We were met but a friendly hostess and she provided us with how things work because we couldn't figure it out lol. We went to the counter ordered and they provided a buzzer. We were there for brunch and we ordered a breakfast burrito and the chicken salad. Both were delicious. Definitely check this place out if you are exploring in the area.

This place was disappointingly underwhelming. I was drawn to try this place because I'd seen a couple mutuals on Insta post Jojo's on their story, and it looked like a really cute place. And that it definitely is. Tons of shaded outdoor seating (I barely saw any indoor seating) with greenery and even a little pond with koi fish and turtles. It overall had a very cute vibe. But that was about where the positives ended. I ordered the Bacon Jam Burger with a side of potato salad. When I saw the price, $18 +$1 for cheese, I figured it would be this big magnificent burger to justify the cost. The price wasn't justified at all!! The burger and potato salad were good, but not good enough to justify the price, especially with how small the portion size was. I thought it was excessive I had to pay extra for cheese on a burger too. I didn't even end up eating the potato salad because for some reason, it was served on top of some leafy greens and wanted to avoid catching this cyclospora parasite going around. So I was surprised it even came with that, especially because I've never seen potato salad accompanied by greens and they aren't necessary for the dish. I can't even say the service was good because it's self service! Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I wasn't satisfied with my meal. TLDR: Cute place but food is underwhelming and overpriced.

Stopped in for a drink after Tucson Meet Yourself. Great service! Was quiet and intimate at the time. Definitely worth stopping in!

Walking distance from the Tucson Museum of Art. It's a nice place to stop for a meal. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. I ordered the Chicken salad and it was delicious. It has big chunks of roasted chicken, dill and the dressing tasted like it was made with pickle juice. It came with a side of focaccia bread and salad. Service was friendly. We sat near the koi pond and it was cool under the trees.

Overall, I really enjoy eating here. The last time I came here they have a new system where you get a beeper when you order your food. The beeper goes off when your food is ready. I ordered my food well before all of my friends. My friends had already finished their food and I never got my food. I had to hunt somebody down to figure out what was going on. Eventually, I was able to get some food and it was delicious but the pager either didn't work or something happened with my order. The staff was very apologetic that I never got my food.

Such a cool place, with a laid back but fun atmosphere. You absolutely feel like you're enjoying a meal and hopefully some live music in someone's beautiful backyard. Jojo has created a wonderful sense of community with live music, ambience, her staff, and the local stores/artists surrounding the courtyard. Tacos and drinks were delicious. Dont forget to order dessert in the upper bar! Basque cheesecake and chocolate scones were some of the best I've had! Don't forget to day hi to the koi and turtles! ....Jojos cat owns the place, she likes to observe from afar and may offer a boop, but no pets!

Best breakfast burrito ever! Be sure to include the bacon!

This place is awesome. The food was delicious and the patio was peaceful and serene on this Wednesday morning. These folks are kind and friendly. They're doing great work making this place one of Tucson's special stops for visitors and locals alike!

This is a great spot for a large group and the atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. I love the courtyard feel and live music. It's counter service and the food comes out quick. You get a buzzer when you order and pick it up at the window. I had the birria tacos and didn't love them, too salty and the meat was tough (removing a star for the food). I look forward to trying other items, even though it is a small menu. What stood out here was that the owner Jo and her son Eli were walking around the restaurant the entire time checking in with all of the guests. They both thanked our group multiple times for coming. I highly recommend this place.

Such a lovely experience! Walked in and we were greeted by the owner, Jo, who made sure we got a seat and high chair then explained to order at the bar. Margaritas and food were stellar. After we had our entrees we decided we couldn't leave without trying the nachos and were glad we did. Gorgeous outdoor seating with live music. If we lived here we'd be back often. Ask the Community - JoJo's

Is the outdoor seating hot this time of year?

There is and it is mostly shaded, but she usually closes for the summer around July through September.

Is there any option for indoor dining for dinner?

There is a building on premise housing a bar and I recall getting some food there with my libations. Best to call them for further guidance.

Its Boxyard name comes from the various shipping containers that make up most of the buildings inside. It reminded me of Container Park in Las Vegas and similar places in Downtown Austin. I'm very excited that Tucson has a place like this now too!! We were there on a Saturday night, so it was very crowded with a DJ playing in the back, yet it was still open and spacious enough to have plenty of breathing room. I also loved how there's more than one bar for grabbing drinks at and a few food options - we got a couple of smash burgers from Daddyburger inside and they were GREAT!! Took a little while to be ready but it was a busy Saturday night, so understandable. Definitely make sure to add the arugula and pickles to it - loved the extra textures and crunch. The burger hit the spot and the fries were solid McDonald's type fries. Other food options inside included a Mexican food/burrito spot with several vegan options and also a sandwiches/snacks thing! We ended up just eating, drinking, and dancing to the music the whole night there. It was a blast!! It also looked like a great spot for just hanging out or getting some food whenever during the day or the week. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!
