Ordering counter

I was really looking forward to checking out this spot, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to expectations. We ordered the chicken shawarma and falafel platters. Both came with a side of hummus, salad, tahini, garlic sauce, hot sauce, and bread. The chicken shawarma came with rice as well. Sadly, the chicken shawarma lacked flavor--it felt pretty bland and didn't have the seasoning kick you expect from good shawarma. The falafel was better in terms of flavor, but it had been fried a bit too long, which made it greasy and hard. For the price, it didn't deliver what I was hoping for. It's located next to the Little Arabia shopping center and there are a couple of tables if you want to eat there.

Generous portions & flavorful kababs! We finally tried this spot thanks to a coupon on Doordash & it hit the spot. The chicken & lamb kababs were well-seasoned- you can really taste all the herbs & spices used; it was unique to us and a little different from other spots, but we enjoyed it. Hummus was nice & creamy, and we appreciated the extra pita included! Our only critique was that the falafel was on the drier side, but some extra garlic & tahini sauce did the trick there. We'll be back for the kabab plates~

Vegetarian Plate

I was craving falafel and needed some fiber after a long road trip. Luckily, this spot was open late. I ordered on the phone at 11:30pm and arrived around 11:45pm. I decided to go for the vegetarian plate. Based on photos on Yelp, I thought I would come with two falafel's, but it came with 4! I ordered two falafels on the side just in case, and those came with some salad. The order was ready on time. They gave me 3 pieces of pita in a bag, which I think was due to it being so late at night. The falafel could have been crispier, but it satisfied my craving. I liked the thin pickles. The baba ganoush with my favorite thing in the plate. I'm not a huge fan of the parsley salad, although it was fresh. I wish the hummus was more seasoned. I haven't tried many Mediterranean places in the area, so I'm not sure what I could compare it to, but that was a decent late night meal.

wow Shawarma!!! If any one really understands what does Taste means , then definitely I recommend you to try Sahara Falafel . Must try it. It's really mouth watering food. They choose shawarma ingredients for the best flavor and of course for stomach healthy food. Many people make shawarmas but taste is not in everyone's hand. So go to Sahara Falafel then you will FEEL what I wrote about shawarma here for you . Bcoz I am taste lover and I know what taste means . Not by words but practically by taste of food. Owner is very nice humble person and whatever you want from him , he will make accordingly for your taste. TRY

Best Falafel in Anaheim! Ask for parsley instead of lettuce in the falafel sandwich, if you like it how they make it in Lebanon. Their hot sauce is sooo good too! Small cafe but very clean inside. The service was fast and the people working are so nice. The worker gave me a free water bottle while I waited since it was hot out and I didn't buy a drink. I will drive here from the valley just to eat here again.

My favorite shawarma spot of all time. I've been coming here with my family since I was a toddler. The chicken shawarma sandwich is my go-to order. The owner is an absolute legend and he's so kind to customers. Definitely give this spot a try!!

Chicken pita. Extra pita lol

This is a tiny little place in a tiny little strip mall. I was excited to try because it's a mom & pop type place and has lamb. I got a chicken and a lamb pita sandwich and a side of hummus. My cousin and I thought everything was just ok. The hummus didn't have much flavor, nor did the lamb and the chicken was a bit dry and seemed to have double the pita bread. Not sure I'd go back when there are so many other places in that area. Service was ok, the man behind the counter was polite.

They also have sweet treats like mango lassi which is also good and cooling after the spicy food. Being 100% honest, the people make the place even better. Every time I've come in, the people working are so generous and hospitable- offering insight and even samples for their food. The inside is also super nicely decorated and the music is "vibey" too (my bf's exact words). Premium combo = entree + $10 Entree + premium drink + masala fries I tried the bowl with mild biryani, malai chicken, green (mild) sauce, and guava mango lassi. The bowl already comes with the raita sauce (a yogurt sauce), so I got the green sauce as my choice of sauce after asking the staff for recommendations. The protein portion was super generous and very well-seasoned with their spice. The green sauce was my favorite and everything in the bowl mixed well together. The whole bowl was delicious and it didn't feel heavy, wasn't greasy. The Kashmiri Chai and the guava mango lassi are the most popular drinks, so I decided to try the guava mango lassi. The flavors blended so well. One wasn't more overpowering than the other, and the sweetness level was perfect for me, also, not too much ice. Masala fries So crispy and well-seasoned!! Could be a little less salty. Gulab jamun cheesecake Also asked for recommendations for their cheesecakes and decided to go with this one. It has the fried donut ball in the middle with syrup. It didn't taste too sweet to me, but I also have higher tolerance for sweets. The center has so much of the cheesecake cheese and it was super soft and fluffy. So delicious! The samosas were also great! Crispy and not too oily. I also love that they use compostable takeout containers, including the lid! The interior looks nice and there are a few seats available. There's outdoor shaded tables and seats too. The only downside is that I wish the outdoor seats were a bit cleaner. There is a free parking garage, just make sure to park in the retail spaces. There was enough parking. The staff members are so helpful and very friendly. Can order with a staff member or using their kiosk. HIGHLY recommend!! Would definitely go back!

From the jump, my friends and I felt so welcome, all thanks to our man Jake, who so attentively took our order. This man was such a vibe and provided top-tier customer service in spite of being short staffed. He always had a smile on this face and handled everything so well, especially the 11pm rush that came shortly after we ordered. I can write so much more about him, but he honestly set the stage for what I think of the best dining establishments I've ever been to. Shoutout Jake! The food? No notes. It was tasty, scrumptious, divine, exquisite, all of the above. That food was made with love and care -- shoutout to the kitchen staff! I got the crispy chicken sandwich and woah, what a revelation! Eggplant on the sandwich? Such a game changer, like some next level stuff here honestly. My friend got a burger and oh my god, I only had one bite, but it was honest to god one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. My other friends got chicken tenders. Tender doesn't just describe the chicken but also the souls who prepared and served this amazing platter. They honestly put every other chicken tender I've had to shame, I'm afraid I won't ever have another chicken tender without comparing it to YoYos. Sides were scrumptious and the sauces that came with them were so good too. I don't know how they did it, but the soft drinks had something special too. Nothing disappointed, I'm telling you! I wish I took more photos of the food but it was just so good that I didn't have time for that. I had such an emotional experience eating here, and I wasn't under the influence or anything -- it was just that good! I could preach to the choir and write a whole song (maybe album) about how amazing my experience was here. It was so magical, I nearly cried thinking about how lucky I was to eat here and break bread with friends. I live in west LA and I would honestly drive however long it takes, even in traffic, just to eat here again. It was simply that good. It's one of those places that you just can't gatekeep because I honestly think a visit here would heal so many traumas and bad days. This was the perfect end to a day with friends, and I will be coming back sometime soon. You will not regret coming here, I guarantee it! If you do, I just think you're lying for clout because I firmly believe this place could not disappoint anyone! P.S. just in case I didn't highlight Jake enough, I need everyone to know that he is the man! The experience would be nothing if it weren't for him. P.S. again: if I were on death row or another situation with a "last meal" type of arrangement, YoYos would need to be a part of that final meal so that I could die so happy and enlightened

I came here on a Tuesday evening with two of my brothers and a friend came here to hangout. Me and…read moremy friend are not lamb fans and was a bit hesitant on ordering the food so we did hold off on ordering for ourselves. And said we decided to share and eat off of my two brothers plate before we decided to consider coming back or eating more. There was only one worker that was working at the time, but she did a phenomenal job, considering she was holding down the fort for the restaurant by herself. She also mentioned she doesn't like lamb, but she would eat the one here herself so it gave me a pretty good first impression thus far. We ordered the lamb skewers, grilled rib, shank over rice, homemade yogurt, and Cole slaw. Lamb Skewers - 4.5/5 the portion was very generous! $15 for 3 large skewers that was about 1.25 ft length each. Was perfectly grilled and did not taste gamey at all. I believe it was Szechuan pepper that seasoned the skewers. I didn't eat enough to recognize if there was any numbing, but the bite that I took was amazing. Outside was crunchy inside was chewy enough to enjoy, but not tough. Grilled rib - 5/5 I was very pleasantly surprised at how although it was very charred and crunchy in the outside that the inside was very soft and fatty. The meat literally fell off the bone. Again, no gaminess and very pleasant to enjoy. Shank - 5/5 I would have to say that this was the hero of the evening from all the dishes we ordered. The meat was extremely soft, fatty, and literally fell off the bone as I was holding it up. It was very similar to pork flavor and extremely enjoyable for me. On a separate note, I enjoyed that so much but because I had already eaten before this dinner, I came back a separate day to have that dish for myself. The rice seems to be cooked in some type of protein broth and if I had to guess it's probably lamb broth along with carrot. It also came with size of pickled items to lighten the fatness from the meat as well as a small bowl of lamb based soup. Homemade yogurt - 4/5 had a slight tartness to it and light sweetness, but was more leaning towards the sweet side of things. I enjoyed it with the dried raisins and the granola for texture and it was a pretty good ending to the entire meal. Coleslaw - 3/5 it tasted average and didn't seem to be anything special. Though it was good to have it along with all the other protein items to lighten up each bite.

The lamb rib with rice was incredibly tender and practically fell off the bone. The grilled lamb shank and grilled lamb ribs are also must-orders if you love bold, flavorful dishes. And don't miss the lamb skewers! They come in both spicy and non-spicy options. One thing that really surprised me was their classic sweet tea.
