I never expected to be writing a review like this, but I feel other parents should be aware of our experience. My daughter suffered a serious injury at Sahara Pizza when her toe was sliced open by exposed, rusty metal on the front entrance door. The cut went through her toenail and was severe enough that she required an emergency room visit and medical treatment. What has been even more disappointing than the injury itself has been the complete lack of response afterward. I have reached out multiple times over the course of a week by email, text, and phone asking whether an incident report was completed and requesting their liability insurance information. My messages have been read, but no one has responded or even checked on how my daughter is doing. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds afterward says a lot about its commitment to customer safety and accountability. A simple acknowledgment, concern for an injured child, or willingness to communicate would have gone a long way. Instead, we've been met with silence. If you have young children, I would encourage you to be cautious. I hope Sahara Pizza addresses the hazardous condition that caused my daughter's injury and improves the way it handles incidents like this in the future. read more

This place took a real dive for a few years, and we stopped getting pizza from here. Absentee owners was likely the cause. Now that there are new local owners, we tried another delivery. Much better. It's still not up to the level of the location in Lake Stevens, and it's nowhere near as good as Red Pepper in town, but it's better and decent. But how can you dent or bash the pizza box on a delivery that is only a few blocks away (see photo)? Makes no sense, and it speaks to the fact that much work remains to be done to re-instill pride in the employees for doing what's right and making great pizza. It's not there yet. Hopefully, the new owners continue to make improvements. But it will take some effort to regain the community's full support. We will definitely give it another try in a few weeks, hoping to add a star. read more

Great pizza options with a plethora of specialty pizzas for every kind of pizza lover. Very tasty. The crust did not give me any bloating or stomach discomfort like some other places. The pizza was fresh and flavorful. Delivery was reasonable and on time. I ordered online, and forgot to select a preference. They called me to confirm my preference. I really appreciated their attention to detail and top notch customer service. The food is decent but overpriced. Delivery drivers are always nice. However, sometimes they answer the phone and other times they do not. Occasionally they put you on hold for 8 minutes and never take your order. I guess we'll be driving to Monroe for pizza night. read more

I wanted to support local businesses in snohomish county, so we came here. 4 of the employees were not wearing a mask, not even trying or pretending to wear one. 2 of them were in the kitchen and the others in the front counter. We ordered Tuesday at 4:27 (online orWe ordered 2 XL pizzas for delivery, one with extra cheese and one with extra cheese, olives and mushrooms and it was $56 not including tip and with 25% off the second !! They said due to the 50 cent wage increases for the new year they had to bump up prices. We normally pay $45 including tip. The owners and employees can post as many pictures as they want of "how amazing this pizza is" (which is what you'll notice about the pictures )but PLEASE don't even waste your money. If they literally gave a smidge of effort this would not be my review especially since I've managed 2 pizza places. It's heartbreaking how much they don't care anymore & I really hope it changes. This place is really hit or miss, especially since COVID. My order is wrong every time, and not just by a topping or two, usually recently they deliver me someone else's food. Even pre-COVID the pizza was hit or miss, sometimes it's severely under-cooked, sometimes it arrives cold, sometimes it's burnt. Once I tried to return an incorrect pizza and the guy who took it back, who said he was a manager, got so angry about it he threw the box with the wrong pizza in it across the room and onto the ground, threw 20 bucks from the till at me (none of their pizzas cost only $20), and told me not to order from there again. Decent food but there is a girl who works there (9/5 around 7pm for any managers reading) who gives consistently awful customer service. She's abrupt, clearly annoyed with her job and life, and interrupts constantly. Tonight after walking in to order a to go order, she rudely informed us it would be a 30 min+ wait to make a sandwich. We said that was fine and started to order our meal and she interrupted us to tell us they no longer will make any custom orders on their grinders and it is - and I quote - "it's either all or nothing, we won't make any changes". We were asking to withhold olives - not exactly a huge dramatic request. Seriously turned off by this place now, and we have been steady and loyal customers. I guess all locations get to pick what items they will carry. -They don't take orders 15 minutes prior to closing for walk ins. Great pizza joint! I'd heard good word-of-mouth reviews of Sahara Pizza before, but never had it until recently. This location is relatively new, opened by the former owners of the Monroe location. It's right on the side of Highway 2 in Sultan next to the gas station. We stopped by on the way back from a night boarding sesh at Stevens. They were really friendly, offering to apply a coupon for a couple bucks off even though we didn't have one, and allowing us to do 1/2 and 1/2 on the toppings. We got the Sahara on one side, which is basically a supreme. On the other side we tried the Tiki Tiki which is almost like 2 combined combos since it has BBQ chicken and pineapple, but also basil pesto, artichoke hearts, feta, and garlic. It sounded interesting but tasted pretty damn good. Pizza came out hot, fresh, and the crust was really good too. This place is being added to the short list of go-to grub spots on the way back from boarding at Stevens. read more

The pizza used to be great, now you never know what you're going to get. We ordered a Garlic Chicken pizza with bacon recently, and all that was on the pizza was burnt bacon. That's it! Not one piece of chicken. This was for delivery, and its always been hit and miss with respect to quality. A lot of the time the toppings don't make it to the crust (hate that)! Called at 6:39 no pizza no sign of delivery. Told by new person on the the phone that 45 minutes is the regular delivery time to Gold Bar. Five miles for those of you who don't know Skykomish Valley. By now the pizza is 45 minutes out of the oven and the guy I talked to was unapologetic and asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I told him he could give me my money back.
