Upon walking in, it seemed like it was about closing time because no one was in there, but there was still an hour left, so my 2 friends and I decided to grab a table. The woman at the register didn't acknowledge us when we walked in, as she was counting cash and talking to someone in the kitchen. We sat ourselves, and over the garlic knots, a pizza, and a pitcher of beer. The food was great. It was hard to focus on the conversation at our table because the staff was yelling at each other in the back, constantly trying to talk over each other. I will admit their food saved them on this rating. The service was all and all distracting and horrible. Next time Ill just order it delivery. read more

The pizza is good, but the owner/employees are crap. They consistantly "forget" to deliver wings, cheesy bread, etc along with your pizza order and never refund you. They add on about $5 to your total bill (I suppose hoping you don't notice) when you order online.. They've done this a couple of times now and even though they say they will refund, they never do. I love the variety of ingredients offered, many of which are not typically found in your average small town pizzeria. This place usually is good and the food has been great. Even when I have ordered for delivery, the pizza usually is still hot from the oven temperature wise. I have not tried all the different varieties they have nor most of the sandwiches, however what I have tried has been great. I have only had one bad experience with them, further made worse when lied to by the person in charge when I called in about an order they had messed up. They put the wrong chicken on my Caribbean crunch pizza. Instead of just apologising about the incorrect order that was printed up incorrectly, as it is printed out on the order ticket if you look at the pizza box when it's delivered. She lied to me and said it was ordered wrong when I was sitting there looking at the way it was ordered right there on their own ticket printed right there on the box. Pizza is great. However they have a tendency to constantly get orders wrong. When they do get the order wrong, they pass on the mistake to the customer. One time it was them placing onions on a pizza, when it was specifically requested to not have onions since there was someone who was allergic. Onions were placed on the pizza of course and their employee's were completely unwilling to fix the situation. Other times it was simply the wrong pizzas, or the wrong toppings once again. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back for me, however. I placed an order for food, and I was told the total was $22 something and then told 25 minutes. I walked to go pick up my pizza and was given a total of over $29. I argued with the employee for multiple moments about the issue and was given no assistance. I walked home and called the restaurant and complained to the OWNER and was once again given no assistance. I explained I would not have ordered the pizza if i had known it was going to be close to $30. He basically said it doesn't matter that the employee gave me the wrong information, that led to the sale in the first place, that the price i was forced to pay was the right price. Once again, a poor company passing on employee mistakes upon the customer. It sucks, because their pizza is really good, but that place is ran horribly. I am not one to put up negative reviews, since everyone has an off day. However after being burned multiple times I will never go back to this restaurant again. Don't get me wrong. We love Sahara Pizza. Normally. At other locations. Tonight we got horrible service and the food was mediocre. It took several minutes for us to get helped and when we did order, we waited for almost 45 minutes before I finally went up to ask them what was taking so long and our stuff was sitting under the heat lamp. I had been watching and saw those things under the heat lamp about ten minutes earlier, but couldn't tell that they were ours because they were in boxes. I told them how unhappy I was for the wait and making our food get worse and left but realized about 15 minutes later that my mom forgot her purse. The manager was counting out money from the till when we got back as they had closed by the time I got back. They didn't acknowledge me when I came in to get the purse. They didn't seem to remember me at all. They didn't really know where the purse was and had too look around for it. This pizza place is convenient, located right on Highway 2 in Sultan. It has a cute seating area outside and lots of big bright windows, making the inside comfortable. It was clean and the pizza was really really good. They also have a great sandwich selection and the prices are reasonable. I'm giving this place 2 stars because of the absolutely terrible service we got here! We walked in, sat down and had a girl come over and take our drink orders right away. But then it took her 10 minutes to get the drinks, she never came back for refills. A different girl came over and asked us if we wanted our check before we had even gotten the chance to order anything. She then took off behind the counter and didn't come back for another 15 minutes. Finally she came back, took our orders, but didn't ask us if we wanted more drinks... we had to serve ourselves from the fountain machine or go wait in line for beer. Our pizza came up pretty quickly, but was delivered to the table by girl #3, who didn't offer us plates, forks, or napkins, we had to bug them for those too. It turns out they were having waitresses deliver pizzas, so they were taking off mid-order to deliver pizzas or to answer the constantly ringing phone. We noticed other patrons experiencing the same lack-luster service as well. The waitresses were clearly untrained and not very friendly. This place could be fantastic if they would focus staff on certain jobs and have them stay there, ie 1 delivery driver, 1 cashier, 1 waitress. I should mention that there were only 3 tables with customers at them while we were there, not a heavy load by any means.. definitely should not have taken so long to get our order and serve us. One final notes, it appears that they have mostly positive reviews, yet when I looked while we were eating at this place, there were several negative reviews. This place actually has decent pizza. The reason for only 2 stars is that recently I ordered a pizza and had a coupon which made the pizza $16.99 but was charged nearly $22. The lady said it was for "delivery charge". When the driver arrived I mentioned that I assumed the "delivery charge" was to ensure a tip for the driver? ... He said that they actually don't get ANY of that money! So on top of this new delivery charge we are now obligated to also tip the driver? What a rip off! The only reason I was willing to give this place a second chance is because the bakery was closed. It was kind of busy but not over packed. About 14 customers. The waitress from the last time was the cook this time and was not wearing a hairnet. I proceeded to place a to-go order of 2 pancakes and 1 cinnamon roll. The total was somehow $16.34. She told me it was because the pancakes were 6 dollars each (they were only 8 inches across .......I measured them). After waiting for about 30 minutes I saw both the server and the cook leave the building for a few minutes and then come back with packs of cigarettes in their hands (a smoke break in the middle of a rush!) It took a total of 48 minutes to get my pancakes and cinnamon roll order. They were a bit dry but not horrible tasting but the syrup was no good at all. Kinda like sugar water and no flavor. I never tried the roll....just threw it away. I would not go back for any price and especially not for that much! read more

Service and food quality has been up and down since they opened. I saw in another review that delivery time is great (often under 30) and I can't disagree! But I would happily wait another 10 minutes to get a fully cooked pizza. Yes, prices are high, but that's what you get when you don't want to leave your house. Plus they're considered gourmet pizzas. Because I've had undercooked pizzas more than once, and because the pizza is really good when done right, I continue to be a customer but tend to get meatless options. In house is a completely different story. They have bomb grinders for pretty cheap considering how much food you're getting. Plus service is always better when you're sitting in front of someone.
