The people who run this store are literally the nicest people I've met in a long time, I love going here just to visit with them

I had no idea…read morethat they had offered wine tasting classes to the public and private ones that you can book for parties, work connection events, etc.! Total Wine has a bunch of activities planned throughout the year. Wines: We did a "Tour of Italy" wine tasting, and I learned so much from the class! The tasting was definitely more educational than I expected! We tried different wines from different regions of Italy, and ones where I would not have picked myself! Very fun and informative. The wine bottles range from $10-$50. Most of the wines you try will be from the lower end.

Once you hit Grand Reserve ($2500 in a year), you get access to special events where you can purchase rare bottles of alcohol. 2. You get free tickets to their alcohol tasting classes, which also has free food in addition to the alcohol. 3. You also get smaller perks, such as free delivery, etc. However, even if not hitting Grand Reserve, Total Wine has the cheapest selection of alcohol that I have seen. Specs might have a couple bottles cheaper than here, but overall, nothing really tops Total. In addition, they have a huge selection of THC drinks, and the prices are cheap and reasonable as well. Overall, I pretty much come here at least once every 3 weeks, so when I say I will be back, I will be back.

This is my favorite specs! It's always fully stocked with my favorites! My go to is Ol' Smoky…read moresalted caramel or pecan Tennessee whiskey. This seems to be the ONLY Spec's around me that carries the 1.75 L. & I love them for this because I want to go in every 2 weeks but 2 and be done, maybe it will last a little longer depending on company. Any other Spec's only has the 750 or smaller and it seems like they only have 1 or 2 or none . They always say it's popular & goes fast, well then prepare your stock! So this by far is my favorite just because they keep it stocked, someone always ask me if I need help finding what I need, & the cashiers are fast, helpful, funny, & seem to be always happy.

While they only have 3 lanes checking out. I walk up to try to pay at the one that was free but the cashier was too busy talking to another worker who was just sitting on the floor at the register. He just tells me "don't you see two other lanes are open go check out with them". This is ridiculous, why even have your register light on if you aren't trying to do the one job(checking people out) you are getting paid to do. This is my go to liquor store but if this is how I'm going to get treated I'd rather go to Goody Goody liquor that's right next door next time where they are always friendly. It's just disappointing to see the lack of care or effort. This all happened on 7/19/25 at 1:58pm, please review the cameras and see for yourself if you own this establishment. Waste of money having so many people on the clock that aren't even willing to do the bare minimum of what their job is.

We started with the milk and honey bread with their jam. We got the filet ( which was delicious ) and our friends got the bass and prime rib which they also said was amazing. We both got the bread pudding for dessert which I thought was pretty good but our friends weren't the biggest fans of . Regardless, our waitress was a sweetheart and super accommodating. Overall, would absolutely come back!

They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept. Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside. Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother's Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday. The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess! Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I'd gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn't have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu. Overall, it's a cute place and a cute concept. Note that A) this is not the place for someone picky, as the dishes are a bit experimental, and B) the prices are a bit above average. More of a special occasion type of place. Make sure you make a reservation!
