Lovely selection and what should be an inviting store, but every time I've been in, I feel like I am bothering them. They run the place like it's their private clubhouse and they only want their best friends there. If you are just walking in off of the street, then "hurry up and move on." Also they've started blaring horrible remix music out of the front doors into the parking lot. That certainly doesn't encourage me to come in either. I will fight for a small business, but I do not understand their marketing or service. read more

Corner Wines and Wine Bar is an absolute gem. The food is amazing--especially the mussels and the pasta. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Their wine selection is incredible as well, and you can tell it's curated by people who truly know and love wine. Rickey was so kind and helpful. He even assisted me with a unique request when I needed wooden wine crates for a project. He is extremely knowledgeable about wine and made the experience even better with his recommendations. The entire staff was so sweet, welcoming, and attentive. You can really feel the passion they have for what they do. There's good food and there's food that hugs your soul. Upon my first bite of this delicious burrata homemade ravioli I was immediately moved to tears - my late husband loved this dish and this is the closest I've come to tasting it as it was with his dearly departed Nonna. Michael and his team are amazing and I never once suffered from an empty glass or poor service. How is this place not packed? I encourage you to RUN to Corner Wines and try any one of the authentic dishes that will transport you to a little villa in Italy or at least bring around your Nonna. I can't express how much I love this place. It's hidden heaven on earth! The food is outstanding. I've had multiple things that were fantastic but I can't bring myself to order anything but Enzo's Burrata & Marinara and the Chicken Milanese every time I come. The service is outstanding as well. From the managers (owners?) to the sommelier who knows my order upon sight, it feels like I'm family when I arrive. I have been searching for a small local place for so long and I definitely found it! I get it, I was like Corner Wines??? (With much skepticism in my voice) when I was invited the first time. The owner Mike reminds me of a Soprano Uncle (without the mafia ties...ummmm I think???). He will welcome you to the Corner Wines family with a hug, a big roaring laugh, a meatball sandwich and of course, a delicious glass of wine. They recently expanded to add a deli called Enzo where you can get a taste of their homemade meatballs, lasagna and marina sauce (which is delish and I don't even like marinara sauce!!!) that has chunks of fresh garlic. Went tonight to corner wines. Had a long hard day and wanted to decompress. Went to corner wines and had a great time. Shelby was our waitress and was the perfect pint of checking on us, without being pushy. Even surprised me with the best order when I couldn't decide. The sommelier was great. Michael came and checked on us and even gave us free cannoli as a thank you for staying. It was perfect. Had charcuterie which had a lot on it and the pasta was great. Will return!! read more

I thought I knew what I liked when it came to wine. I was wrong, so wrong. Their weekly wine tastings have opened us up to so many different wines we would have never tried. You think you know what you like - get to a Saturday tasting and try something new. I'm tasting organic wines right NOW - they're blowing my mind! The owner is always here mingling and answering questions. Jake, their Sommelier, is amazing. Got a wine question - about the wine you're tasting or any of the 400+ bottles they sell - he's got an answer. The front portion of the store is where the wine is, in the back is the wine bar. There's a stone arch like you're entering a cave, chandeliers hang from the open ceiling and a bunch of tables next to a serving bar area. There are 2 couches as well. During tastings they set up an area with cheese and such to pair with the wine. The wines you're tasting are also available for a discount. They have a menu of wines available by the glass or bottle AND as long as you drink 2 glasses, they'll open any one of those 400+ bottles for you. Hands down - 10/10. I'm a huge fan of Corner Wines. The owners are very knowledgeable about wine, which means they can help you if you don't know what you want or what wines might fit the profile of other things you like. I've found that they offer wines at a wide variety of price points. That's helpful. Often people are afraid of visiting small wine shops because they think everything will be priced beyond their means. You can find a very nice table wine here, at a reasonable (think $12-$15). Or you can find a very exclusive bottle of wine at a not-so-reasonable price. The point is, go in and talk to the staff. Tell them your price constraints and they'll help you find a great bottle (because all of the bottles they have are great). They also offer a monthly wine club. We haven't quite figured out how to get on the mailing list to notifiy us that wines are in, but we do know to go in around the 2nd week of the month and pick up our two bottles. Corner Wines also carries a small supply of carefully selected spirits. They don't carry everything, and certainly not the low-brow stuff, but it's a good place to pick up that bottle of something for an after dinner drink to go with your bottle of wine. I believe in locally owned businesses and Corner Wines is an excellent example of that: Owners who care about their products, know their customers and work hard to make sure you're satisfied with every purchase. read more

Not only did the owner wait until 7:30ish for me (they closed at 7p) to get there but he was very friendly and helpful. He had the bottle chilled before I got there. Excellent service with a smile and had no problem serving a customer past business hours.
