Nothing will gain my loyalty like exceptional customer service! In a week I'll be married at town…read morehall and in a year from that date I'll be having a destination wedding, but everyone says it's best to get your dress early so off I went to shop around. Never would i have ever thought I'd find "THE" dress in the hidden gem that is DK Bridal & Tuxedo. I've been to David's Bridal, and a tons of other upscale "top of the line" boutiques, most of which tried to force me into a dress I didn't love or had snobby employees, putting it nicely. Natalie from DK Bridal was super patient and took the time to look at all the pictures i had on my Pinterest lol and most importantly to listen and see my vision. None of these are the actual dress I chose, but suffice to say I tried on a few different dresses and with each one she offered her thoughts, but never in an overbearing or obnoxious manner. She treated me with the same dignity as if she were my family or friend of many years which means the world during this process, so thank you for that. Just as I thought I was settling on a dress, the one of my dreams peaked out from behind others and although it wasn't my size, Natalie helped me try it on with excitement and boom just like that she placed an order for it to come in my size, get the show back on the road and check one more thing off my "To Do List!" Before you buy into the hype of all the huge companies and high end boutiques, visit DK Bridal and share you vision, pictures with them and hey even your love story while your at it... you won't be disappointed with their service or gowns!

Great place! I went to several bridal boutiques in search…read moreof a perfect gown. DK bridal won me over with their patience and customer service. Due to religious reasons, my arms needed to be covered and my gown was a sweetheart cut. They patiently allowed me to bring in different bolero options to try on with the dress, until I found the perfect one. Not once did they make me feel like I was a bother, having them retrieve my dress from the basement each time until I paid off my gown in full. Diane was a great consultant and patiently helped me choose the right bolero and crown. To top it off, my husband and I switched our wedding date to an earlier one with my gown already being ordered. Everything worked out with me paying a fair rush fee and receiving the gown well before the wedding. No organization is perfect as the day we scheduled for my pick up, my gown wasn't ready (it wasn't yet steamed). I believe he forgot to write it down but it was ready the next day! This was fine as he did say that I should give myself some time for pick up. My Matron of Honor also got her dress here and we loved it. No complaints. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend them.

It breaks my heart to write this review. I am writing this only for the seamstress experience,…read moreeverything else about this shop is great. I bought my dress from here last year, amazing experience. this year, closer to my wedding I scheduled my bridal fitting appointments. 2nd week of June, I dropped off my dress for cleaning. (please note that my dress was in bag till this day, never took it out, it was in prestige condition when I bought it, even when I wanted to take a sneak peak, I resisted because I didn't want anything on my dress). my first dress fitting was on July 15th, the dress was still in good condition, everything was cleaned and was great. the seamstress experience was okay. I tried to be nice with whatever. just shook of the bad feelings. my second dress fitting was scheduled to be on 2 weeks after, but they had cancel it and reschedule since the AC was not working in the store, then my second and last fitting was on July 31st. during the initial appointment and last appointment my 3 aunts were with me. during this second appointment, I saw there was a teeny tiny drop of blood. (it looked like someone pricked their finger). the seamstress said that was always there. she kept on telling that to me and my aunts. I didn't want to make a scene, human error, and I let it go. well, that was mistake. she covered up that spot with 2 flowers. she put the stain remover for a second and gave up and said it didn't work. at the end of the second fitting, the seamstress said the dress will only be ready later in the day and asked if anyone can pick it up. we said sure, because "it is a bridal shop and they should know how to handle the dress", right. we picked up the dress later in the day. after that on the morning of my wedding on august 21. I took the dress out the bag. the dress was supposed to be steamed and pressed, it was not. and then we were steaming it and that's when I saw all the mistakes, the seamstress had cut a lace piece out of my dress. whenever she was doing my fitting she said "she will find a piece of lace that matches the dress", not cut it out of my dress. a button was missing, please note this is after paying $800 in alterations, even without asking what was the charge was for. I had emailed the store after the first incident, they asked me to bring my dress, but I just wanted to notify them of the incident. but after the wedding, I called and emailed them about all this. they said the best they can do for me is cleaning and preservation ($460 value), I didn't trust them to take my dress anymore, because after preserving, I will never know what will happen to it. they also try to blame me and never own the mistakes, I think that is the hardest part, not apologizing for the mistakes, I understand being professional and can't say sorry in legal reasons or whatever, but there is a fine line between human error and clear negligence. so buy the dress from here but find a better seamstress. else all on your wedding day, all you will be able to think is "why did that seamstress do this to me, what did I do to her, there is a piece of lace missing from my dress, there is a button missing from my dress" attaching the dress pictures on the day off.

Some of the problems were obvious and others were hard to pinpoint, but the effect was a mishmash. My daughter called Susan and after several reassuring texts, made an appointment to come into The Wedding Dresser. From the get-go Susan understood what was wrong & how to fix it. Her team went to work. The dress was how it should have been - masterful work, a talented team, and able to pull it all off in record time!

Susan quoted me over $1200 for this adjustment, and when I said this was more expensive than my dress cost, I received the most unprofessional and rude response and was quite taken aback. "Yes, we pay humans who live and eat and pay rent in the United States, which is very different from the people who made your dress so it is usual that for dresses under $1000 alterations cost more than the dress. Good luck with your hunt." They don't know where I got my dress from, and I'm also someone living in NYC and doing my best. I think people are allowed to charge what they want or think their skill is worth, but I also think the wedding industry has lost their minds. I found an independent professional who did a beautiful job and charged a fair price. I have other dresses to be adjusted until my big day, and had considered saving them if I needed help for my main dress which will be more expensive, but based on this rude and entitled response, I already know to never go back to this business again.
