Pho (P2): Kid Size. Perfect size for lunch.
    Gabriel L.

Full disclosure- I am a recovering Californian. I have been living in Texas since December 2024, from the San Francisco Bay Area. I have not had Pho since I left California. I ordered the P2 Pho, which can be ordered with 4 different meats. I ordered the Kid size bowl, as the Regular sized bowl looked big enough to swim in to me. The heart of any Pho is the broth. This broth did not disappoint. Beefy yet delicate enough not to overpower the other ingredients in the Pho: vegetables, meats, vermicelli, etc. The kids sized bowl was perfect for lunch. I am certain that if I had ordered the Regular bowl, I would be taking a nap. Must return to check out the other dishes on the menu.

Came here for the first time! I ordered the fried veggie noodles and it was good! The texture and the flavor was good as well!

Very clean with plenty of seating. #Saigon Bistro

It was a pleasant surprise to find a Vietnamese restaurant today. I have been craving a good Pho for a while now. This place is very nice and clean, the young ladies were exceptionally courteous and provided us with excellent customer service, an d by the way, the food was delicious!

This place has the best Vietnamese food I have ever tasted. Seriously. The owner is incredibly sweet and is very caring of his food and customers. The atmosphere was so lively and would definitely go again just to chat it up with the owner and staff! Definitely recommend!!

Drove 30 mins out the way to order to go and got some Vermicelli noodles asked for extra sauce and no peanuts because of allergies. Drove 30 mins back home just to find out there's peanuts on my food. Very disappointed.

Dirty condiments bottle at my table

The restaurant is open and spacious. They appeared understaffed because a few of the tables were empty but had used dishes on them. The food was good and they give big servings. I'd give it a higher rating but the dirty condiment bottles are just a sticking point that I can't ignore.

$2 for small bowl of extra broth seems excessive when other Pho restaurants provide them at no extra costs. Expensive for what you get.

We waited 15 to be seated. After 45 minutes, we left. We never saw our order or tasted the food.

The wonton soup is so yummy! I got the bahn mi and it was okay, the pork was fatty. My girlfriend got the vermicelli and she said it was delicious, but the egg rolls that came with it were greasy. My brother got the pho and he loved it. The people in there were very nice and the vibe was chill which I like.

We did mostly Chinese dishes (Orange and General Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, Triple Delight). They were all... serviceable. The General chicken didn't have any heat whatsoever, and the chicken pieces were larger than typical general/orange chicken pieces. It tasted like quality chicken that needed more spice, more flavor. The taste was more subtle than I wanted, as was the fried rice. The unbreaded chicken meals seemed a little better, but no one at the table was really wowed. The Triple Delight was probably the highlight of the table. One of us did try the Pho, and it was VERY cilantro-forward. If you like that, you'll like the Pho. I will commend them on a real good egg roll, a pretty good crab puff, and a very good egg drop soup. The portions were generous, but the prices matched the portions. Ultimately, if you are looking for a Chinese spot, it may be unfair to expect that from a Vietnamese spot. I'm sure those coming for a Banh Mi or Pho will be pleased. But for me, the hunt for a Chinese spot in Northeast New Braunfels continues.

The egg drop soup with delicious, as well as the crunchies that they provide. However, the meal it's Self. The rice tasted old and stale, even the chicken tasted a bit off. But let me begin from the beginning, the establishment is located in a strip mall close to Lowe's, you have plenty of parking and as you enter you can view a good amount of seating. As you approach the counter you can see the menu on the wall but there is also paper menus. The personnel are charming and helpful to guide you through the menu. So now the most important part for a restaurant, I chose the "Egg Rolls" to begin my journey, then I selected the "General Tso's Chicken" a personal favorite of mine. The dish comes your choice of different items to accompany your meal I choose the Crab Rangoons with Wonton Soup. So let me start with the egg rolls, they were crunchy, tasteful and with sweet and sour sauce made them wonderful. Now the wonton soup with the crispy wontons was another great addition with the flavor of a well made soup. Now the main dish, the general tso's chicken, was excellently cooked and very delicious the fried rice was equally delicious and the crab rangoons were very tasty. Overall this is a good option for Asian food and I highly recommend it.
