Who knew this hidden gem was sitting in this plaza! I'm in this area of town quite often for my kids extracurricular activities and now I've got my go-to mom treat, yay! Tried the Vietnamese coffee and it's pretty strong and bitter for me but man does it get ya going. My go-to will definitely be the strawberry matcha....sooo delicious. They also offer a blueberry matcha and a few other flavors I'll have to try one day. Love the inviting ambiance with fun music and both indoor/outdoor seating.
Back again!! Strawberry matcha was delicious and we had to get the egg coffee again this time. I got it with their premium matcha this time and really liked it. I saw that they have their new cloud series menu and I can't wait to try it next time. Drinks came out quickly per usual!
Very good matcha! I like that you can decide between 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 & 125% sweetness because I prefer my matcha not sweet & most place won't let you do that. Everyone loved their drinks! Definitely let them know what % of sweetness you want or it is automatically 100%. They also have oat & coconut milk for 50¢ more. It's very popular so don't be surprised if you can't find seating. The worker was very nice and very helpful, he answered all of my questions to help me pick what I wanted to try. Will definitely come back!
Saigon Coffee was one of my favorite coffee shop experiences I've ever had. The staff is friendly. The design is sleek with a mix of modern and traditional design. I ordered the strawberry matcha and when I tell you from all of the coffee shops I've been to no one else compares to the excellence that is at Saigon. The matcha was bold, refreshing, clean and sweet tasting. The strawberry was a great balance of sweet and citrus. I am going to be dreaming of that matcha years to come. I hope Saigon coffee and tea flourishes because they deserve it. Thank you for creating an incredible atmosphere and product. SaiGon coffee and tea feels less like a place you simply stop for a drink and more like somewhere you want to linger. A little pocket of warmth, matcha, and slow afternoons in Chandler.
Delighted to see the new floral arrangements for Easter and Spring season and had to look up which kinds of lilies we had here - Roselily Sara's are known for their light scents and no pollen - excellent choice to add to their bright table arrangements Lovely collection of seating for their little library to enjoy as well As always, I had to make sounds with my $7 bahn mi - oozing in creamy pate tysm for this daily bread mm mm mm!!! First time having the Oreo matcha - thought I'd give it a shot and I love that it comes with like almost two full Oreos on top to munch with and that this place ACTUALLY HAS COCONUT MILK AS AN OPTION it goes from creamy sweet to the just right bitterness of matcha then you get your Oreo treat with a crunch. I have never been disappointed when I get my snacks here with a drink My first sip of this delicious coffee was also ofc immediately-Yep that's a Vietnamese coffee. Even though I thought it was supposed to be the drip kind with condensed milk so I'm fully invested to go for the whole menu now
Matcha enthusiasts this is your place. There are so many ways to drink your matcha here, every one unique in its own way. We got the egg foam matcha which was good but not killer. It's an acquired taste but definitely delicious. The blueberry matcha was amazing, however sweet, but I loved it. The matcha with coconut milk is so funky but good in its own way too.. THEY DONT HAVE THE FOR HERE CUPS. One of the reasons why I wanted to come here because it was so austhetic and pleasing. I was pretty bummed that they only had plastic to go cups. You get to choose between two types of matcha, one more sweet and one more bitter so you can go off of your own preferences. The place was packed but there was a decent amount of seating. It's a small shop but it was a good experience overall. Still really bummed to have spent $8.50 per drink and have to have it in a plastic cup though.
Such a great spot to hang out or study! The ambience was very welcoming with plenty of seating options. Had a very comfortable and lively vibe without feeling too crowded. The cashier was very kind when we ordered! I ordered the Oreo matcha and my friend ordered the mango matcha - both ranging from $7-8.5 but absolutely delicious. You can also choose which kind of matcha you want at the register when ordering (e.g., ceremonial, more umami taste etc.) They had a large variety of matcha options as well as coffee and tea drinks for those who aren't into matcha. Overall, this place had everything I was looking for in a cafe. Would definitely come back again to study and enjoy a refreshing drink!
Best matcha I've had in Phoenix. Very comparable to all the good matcha places back in Orange County California like airoma. Everything is very authentic. I can tell that they use high quality matcha. The place was packed and the workers were very helpful. Would definitely come back.
This was a great place to grab a Vietnamese coffee and a matcha latte (yes, I had both - it was that good) with my friends after the gym. The cafe has lots of seating space but also maintains a cozy vibe. The menu features a long list of coffee, matcha, and tea options. As a vegan, I appreciate that Saigon offers an oat milk alternative on some of their beverages. I also love that they let you pick your sweetness level (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%). Fifty percent was perfect for me in my black marbled coffee and taro matcha latte. Prices are around $8-$10, which I think is fair for specialty drinks like these. Also, their ice is amazing (IYKYK)! If you feel like some food, I did notice that Saigon has bahn mi (a Vietnamese style sandwich), and there are also smoothies. One of my friends had an avocado smoothie. Yum! I'll be back to Saigon soon, for sure!
This is my favorite Vietnamese coffee spot. It's so hard to find a perfect bac xiu like vietnam in arizona but this place is pretty close. The saigon fruit tea is also very sweet and fresh. service is quick, but also very packed. Love the decor and there's some seats inside.
Been here multiple times and I am always impressed with the drinks on offer. Service is always fast and attentive, and it's a great place to just study or chill with friends. I definitely recommend any of their egg drinks. It's also worth noting that I had the best banh mi I've eaten outside of SF here.
Visiting my sister and she recommended this coffee shop, was so worth it! My husband went twice in the 5 days we visited them, which is saying a lot since he is a coffee snob. The first day he got egg coffee Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious! I normally don't like coffee but really enjoyed it. The second time I got their matcha with taro and he got a salted cream coffee and both were good. My matcha came in a cute cup, and service was friendly!
I love Vietnamese coffee, so was so excited to try this place out. Also the place is so cute and cozy. Got to try regular Vietnamese coffee and the creamier one, I liked both. Tasted like just what I expected. Though I think it's a bit pricey, still so good!
Not even kidding when I say this is the best vietnamese coffee in Arizona. I've been on the hunt for a good coffee place, specifically Vietnamese coffee (and personally I LOVE Vietnamese coffee) and this is it. I always get their Saigon coffee which is just Vietnamese coffee (drip coffee over sweetened condensed milk). If you like salted caramel foam coffee they have that too as their cafe muoi you'll definitely like. I also heard their matcha is the best so if you love matcha this is for you. I'm not much of a matcha person tho. I also had their bahn mi which is smaller than normal but makes a great snack. The only thing is that it's a bit expensive (like almost $10 for a large coffee). Other than that tho, lots of place to study inside and chat with friends, although it is usually very packed so just be ready. Even with it being crowded, drinks never take too long to come out. read more
We loved the ambiance! The space is so clean and decluttered, and the natural flowers on the tables are just beautiful. The service was great and very friendly. I ordered a taro matcha and my husband got a taro coffee; both were delicious. We also loved that you can customize your drink with options like less ice, sweetness level, and even different grades of matcha. Saigon Coffee & Tea is a great stop when I'm craving strong, authentic Vietnamese coffee--matcha is not bad either! They can get quite busy and loud and the line can get awkward wrapping around tables. They might want to work on their air circulation because it can get stuffy--don't ask how I know. (Edit: looks like they added some more air circulation!) That aside, their base cà phê is definitely the star IMO--rich, bold, and smooth, with that deep roast flavor you'd expect from robusta coffee. 50% sweet was about right for me. They will leave space in the cup if you reduce the ice but viet coffee is one of the only drinks I wouldn't adjust ice unless you're saving it to add your own later. On the other hand, the matcha drinks are a bit of a letdown, although people love to rave about it. Instead of the natural, earthy qualities of matcha shine through, they tend to get buried under layers of milk and artificial-tasting fruit purees (I tried peach). The result is more of a sugary milk at the expense of the matcha. I've had well-balanced fruit matcha in many places but I continue to get disappointed in AZ. I've tried both premium and ceremonial matcha now and the base latte is okay and better than most coffee shops. It is pricey so I wouldn't go out of my way to get it when the coffee stands out more to me! read more

Nice design and good vibe! I actually found this place on TikTok and everyone kept talking about their matcha so I had to try. I ordered both the premium and ceremonial matcha, and I preferred the ceremonial one. The matcha latte wasn't as strong as I usually like, but I can see why people enjoy it. I also tried the Matcha Strawberry, which wasn't my favorite since I've had better at other spots in AZ. The strawberry flavor was nice but a little plain, and I wished the matcha was bolder. The Matcha Peach wasn't for me either since the peach flavor tasted a bit artificial. On the flip side, I really enjoyed the Viet Coffee and would definitely recommend it! The Taro Coffee was also pretty good. The real taro flavor blended with the coffee in an interesting way. I like taro so this drink is perfect for me! Overall, the drinks lean sweet and are on the pricier side. The shop can get busy, so it feels a bit stuffy inside, and I wish there were more seats. Still, the design is nice, and I'd stop by again if I'm in the area. read more
I was excited to try this matcha place for a while as it was highly recommended. I unfortunately wasn't able to get their matcha as they didn't have matcha for about a month now... I guess the matcha shortage is really getting out of hand! I tried their banh mi and I have to say it's extremely expensive for how small the sandwich were overall this place felt extremely pricey and not worth it. Not sure if I will come back for their matcha because of the prices alone... read more

I heard about hot & new, Saigon Coffee & Tea from friends and on social media so I made it a point to stop by when I was in the area. The egg coffee came highly recommended and as a fan of egg coffee, I had to try theirs. I love that it's customizable. I opted for less sweet and it was just right for me! The staff was friendly and helpful. The space is warm and welcoming. There's ample seating. It's great for a quick treat, but I don't think it's the best for working, especially with laptops. I've been here twice now! The drinks are good and not too sweet but the matcha isn't very potent IMO. I've tried a straight up matcha drink and a matcha cloud foam drink. I'm not sure if it's because i've chosen the sweet(?) matcha over the grassy one though. Need to try the grassy one next time to make a proper deduction. read more
April 22, 2025. Sweet, creamy and coffee! Could there be a better combination? The ban mi was pretty tasty too! This casual, small place has a simple at the counter order and pick up. Robust and sweet is the egg Saigon coffee $7.5-Phen coffee, condensed milk and topped with a generous portion of egg cream. The Ban Mi Saigon $7-Fresh Vietnamese bread, thinly sliced vegetables and meat with a sauce that makes it all worthwhile. Items are made to order, so it is a bit of a wait but was worth it for me. read more

Very nicely decorated coffee shop! It's close by a golf shop we frequent so we are excited we can try out more drinks! They have teas, milk teas, smoothies, matchas, and snacks. We wanted to come here to get some work done, but there was a strong sewer smell that was hard to not notice. So we sat for a few minutes to wait for our drinks and then left. The Egg Saigon drink was strong and delicious!! We asked for light ice, but there was still a good amount of ice in it. Love the taste of the drink! Will definitely be back to try out other drinks and more coffee drinks! read more
The kids and I went to Uptown Jungle that's situated in the same complex, I had no idea Saigon Coffee & Tea was here and glad it popped up on maps. The cafe was nice and had such cute signage. I took my little one to the bathroom which I found to be clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helped me right away. I ordered the strawberry matcha and was very impressed by it. I'll definitely order there again. read more
Their drinks are good but not amazing, although I especially liked the salted cold foam. My biggest complaint is that the cashier was distracted when I ordered and placed in the wrong drink for me. When I was confused about getting the wrong drink, instead of offering to fix it, I was told to pay to correct it. I ordered the Salted Cream Coffee and I was given just the regular Saigon Coffee, so I ended up paying more than the actual cost of the drink to have the correct drink. Aside from inconvenient service, the atmosphere is cozy inside. Very cutely decorated and lots of room for small groups. They've also got some board games to play while you sip. In terms of quality, I would say drinks were good, but not worth the cost to come back--$8 for just coffee with no add-ons is insane to me plus the cost to fix their mistake. I would rather spend $8 on a large boba with all the fix-ins somewhere else. read more
Not bad and would come back! I was surprised when I came to Saigon Coffee because usually many Vietnamese coffee places in Arizona are alright, but this was not bad. I enjoyed the strawberry matcha as well but I wish that i got the regular matcha. We ordered the Bánh mì too and it was better than I expected but kind of small for $7. A lot of the drinks in general I would say are kind of over priced for the size. The ambience in the cafe is cute too but kind of dark. Service was fine nothing stuck out to me but I did hear from other people their service isn't the greatest. Overall would come back and try other things! read more

Super cute Vietnamese coffee/matcha spot in Chandler! Though this place is known for their Vietnamese coffees, we came for their matcha. They use ceremonial grade matcha and you can definitely tell the difference in flavor! Staff was kind and helpful. Would definitely come here the next time I'm in AZ. read more

Nice spot. Very authentic feel inside from the staff, to the artwork on the walls, to the patrons. A little slice of Vietnam right here in Chandler. I had a bit of a problem reading all the menus above the ordering station. I was looking for a hot coffee, but only seeing iced coffee and tea. Ended up ordering a Bac Xiu also known as Marble Coffee. Basically iced coffee with some sweetened condensed milk. Good, but at $7.50 for a cup of ice and probably 8 oz of coffee, that's expensive for me. Not sure I'd go back, but there's some interesting things on food menu I might have to try next time read more
Recommend: Yes but slight a bit over price. Service: nice and knowledgeable Price: a bit higher than other boba shop. Boba around $7-$7.5 as the avg price (a few drinks for $8-$9). Bahn mi also $7 (comes quite small). Add-ons range $1-$2. Rating 4/10. Ambience: it was clean inside and had some cute flower decor on the table. Details: Finally got to try this boba place. I've been wanting to try their drinks. My bf and I got the ube coffee, tra dao cham sa (fruit tea of peach tea, orange juice, and lemongrass), and a bahn mi. Ube coffee was 8.5/10. The ube flavor was light. Coffee was strong flavor but not bitter. The fruit tea was 6/10. I asked for half sweet level and it tasted like regular sugar level. Not sure if regular would of been double or that they didn't do my order correctly. As for the bahni me it was also 8.5/10. It was pretty good but it was very small compare to other places with bahn mi. Overall, I think these drinks and food would be great if it wasn't a bit over priced. read more
When Leonard Hofstadter (Big Bang Theory) asked if he wanted coffee, he replied, "Black and strong, like Luke Cage." Heck yeah! Popped in a multitude of times already. On the first visit, we ordered an Egg Saigon ($7.50) and an Ube Coffee ($7.50). Wow. That first sip of egg coffee had my skirt flipping. There's another place in town that makes a mean egg coffee but this one has me putting on bunny ears and grabbing my basket. Hello? Are you the Easter Bunny? Egg foam on point. My second visit had me ordering the Golden Milk Tea ($8.50). I think this will be my go-to order for this place. It's body and flavor with a little caffeine. Truly a dessert in a cup. Since then, I've been alternating between the Egg Saigon and the Golden Milk Tea. Great drinks all around. I have yet to try their food options but they look promising. Cute spot! Came here for a causal business meeting and luckily there was ample seating in the mid-afternoon. But this place fills up quick towards 5pm! Tried the original Vietnamese iced coffee and it had a good blend of sweetness with that bitter kick of Vietnamese coffee (this was also good the next day after being in the fridge overnight!). I also got a banh mi to-go and although it was good, it's very small. I've heard the green Thai tea here is good and I'm curious to come back and try that next time! read more
Whoa! My peeps got it goin' on! Saigon coffee & Tea is fully decked out! The owners did such a fabulous job with designing the place! So modern, classy, and sophisticated! I love the feel and vibe! Seats are very comfortable, which is rare for an Asian cafe! For drinks, I highly recommend the golden milk tea and the strawberry matcha! Both are totally different in flavors, but soooooo good!! The Golden milk tea has that luscious roasted coconut egg foam that's to die for! The tea flavor goes so well with the golden egg foam, that u can't help but have a need to lick that luscious foam off of your husband's side burns, no matter how gross it seems! And don't get me started on the strawberry matcha! Everything about it gives me the steamy dreamy shivers! But don't take my word for it, hurry up and try it for yourself! read more
I had an alright experience here recently. I tried the egg Saigon coffee and it was good, although I'm not sure it was $8 good. My friend tried the milk tea and she loved it! Maybe I'll go for that next time. We tried the Banh Mi Saigon and it was pretty good. My friend thought it needed more veggies on it, but I thought it was good. The inside looked nice but there was a really foul smell for some reason, like sewage. Also, the windows looked dirty, like someone tried to clean them but then didn't rinse off the cleaner. I don't usually go into a business and study the windows, but as I was sitting on the couch and staring out the window, the sun was hitting them just right and it looked really bad. The music playing on the TV was also really loud that day, or maybe it's always that loud, but my friend and I were struggling to talk to each other (you can hear how loud it was in the video I took). The service was good though and the people working were friendly, so maybe I'll try this place again at some point. read more
Was amazed to find out Arizona actually had Vietnamese coffee shops as we were visiting from Houston. Upon reading the reviews i was shocked to see how wait times and loud music can have such a negative impact. However, that was not me and my friend's experience at all. To start we got the sea salt coffee which was one of the richest and creamiest cafe su da I have ever got. The syrup/puree used in the matches were also some of the freshness and most flavorful I've had that blended well with the earth tones of the matcha. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or in the area. read more

Let coffee connect us... and also let it save us from our caffeine-deprived zombie state. It's a great motto for an amazing product. On our first visit, we got the Egg Saigon and the Ube Coffee, both at 75% sweetness level, regular ice. The coffee was strong, flavorful, and robust; it's basically the opposite of me in the morning. Between the two, I prefer the Egg Saigon coffee. They also serve food here. It's all warm woods and soft music in here, the perfect spot to hang with friends or to get work done, aka the perfect spot to pretend to be a functioning member of society. Dare I say, my new favorite Viet coffee spot. read more
New Vietnamese Coffee Shop! I'm so glad there is finally one in Chandler. It's kind of in a run down shopping plaza, but at least the inside is cute and there's ample parking. The coffee has a very strong and rich flavor which I love. The matcha is the same. I was super happy with the Ube Vietnamese coffee and the strawberry matcha that I've tried. The cup is a little bit small in size, but the flavor is definitely worth it to me. I got to try the banh mi, bread with sweet butter, and rice paper. All of them were good and I was not disappointed. Needless to say, I came here two days in a row and I will definitely be coming back more in the future. My husband and I missed the grand opening last week but we decided to stop by since we were in the area. Unfortunately they ran out of coffee so the only drinks available were teas. I opted for their signature milk tea and didn't change anything. Overall it was very refreshing and not too sweet. I would probably do light ice next time though. Tea quality was great. I also ordered their Banh mi Saigon and it was DELICIOUS! They gave a very decent amount of protein and it tasted very authentic, definitely the most authentic Vietnamese banh mi I've had in the area. The interior is nicely decorated and has a modern cafe feel. There were a number of patrons that were studying and working on their laptop. Free WiFi is available. I will definitely return to try their coffee and other food options. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area. read more
New Vietnamese coffee shop in Chandler! They took over the old boba spot that used to be here. Stopped in during their soft opening today on my lunch break. They had a tasting between 11-1pm today. I missed it but they still had a few leftover on the table when I got there. They had green Thai tea and Saigon coffee in little cups for you to try! Love green Thai tea. The place is cute! Everyone was friendly. There was only 1 couple ahead of me so I was able to get in/out quickly. I ordered the Egg Saigon with regular ice and sweetness. I would probably get it a little less sweet next time but it was still good! I'll have to try the ube latte next! FYI - their grand opening is this Saturday & Sunday at 9am read more
Such a gorgeous Vietnamese coffee shop with beautiful drinks to match! I ordered the Egg Saigon, which came with delightfully strong, dark coffee. I think there was a touch more egg cream than ideal -- I couldn't fully mix it in as it got far too thick -- but all in all, it was a solid drink. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely return to try their strawberry matcha or unique Viet snacks! I'd say the biggest area for improvement is their in-cafe experience. Another review mentioned trash smells, but I had the opposite experience where the super strong cleaning supply + bleach smells started irritating my throat when sitting at the very back. Then when I moved to the front, it was too loud to talk -- and the speaker system later stopped working, creating an awkwardly quiet space. This place has great potential to be a good hangout spot and workspace otherwise. Service is friendly, and my drink was enjoyable, so I would give them a shot to work out the kinks. read more

This is the type of place you show off to people if you want to impress them in the flavor department. The egg coffee has the rich vietnamese coffee bean taste that strikes through your soul. Creamy and delectable egg foam on too providing a contrasting flavor to the coffee that gives it a perfect synergy. The strawberry matcha is definitely for matcha lovers, the strawberry gives it a fresh tartness while the matcha has its earthy and darker tones of flavor. Anyone I've met or already know has been told about Saigon Coffee just because it's that good. read more
Checked out Saigon Coffee on their grand opening day, and boy did they show up! The coffee with sea salt (muoi), strawberry matcha, and ube coffee were all delicious. The jasmine tea/lychee with golden boba was also refreshing! The boba does lack that subtle sweetness that I prefer, but that's subjective. The service was efficient and friendly even amidst the bustle of grand opening, and the interior is beautiful. Their coffee is on the stronger side, which I love because it reminds me of the coffee in Vietnam. I recommend getting the coffee with sea salt and the strawberry matcha at 50% sugar level if you're sensitive to sweetness. I will definitely be returning because I have yet to try their food menu (they ran out within 2 hours opening!). read more

Really wanted to love this spot but sadly it was just okay. Drinks are on the pricier side but they are decent sized and cute. My friends said they liked their matcha drinks but I didn't prefer my fruit tea --ordered 25% sugar and it was aggressively sweet. Unfortunately the inside smelled really, really bad like trash or rotting food. We sat outside but could smell it every time someone opened the door. read more
Amazing coffee shop! Ordered the Vietnamese Egg coffee. It is so delightful-- the foam tastes like tiramisu. When it slowly mixes with the coffee, the flavor still remains. Service was a joy. The inside space is well decorated. Can't wait to come back. read more
Saigon Coffee & Tea is one of the newer coffee shops in AZ and they are bringing that authentic Vietnamese coffee shop vibe! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modern and spacious interior with awesome Vietnamese inspired decor and about 5-6 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a great selection of different coffee, milk tea, fruit tea, and matcha drinks to choose from. Wifey and I opted to try the Golden Milk Tea and the Strawberry Matcha with Egg Cream. Both drinks had unique flavor profiles and we could definitely taste the Vietnamese influence! Overall, we are glad we got to stop by and support an awesome Vietnamese owned business. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try some of their other drinks next time we are in the area! read more
First time trying out their matcha. Hands down one of the best matcha I've had. The cafe has a great aesthetic. Aside from their matcha menu, they have coffee, tea, smoothies, and snacks. The service was great, didn't need to wait long for two drinks despite how busy they were. Definitely coming back to try out something different. read more
Very nice variety and nice ambiance! Came here when I was in the area because I had seen some TikToks saying how good the matchas are. I got an iced matcha with oat milk and peach. Half sweet with regular ice. It wasn't too busy but it did take a really long time for me to get my drink. Pricing was as expected, about $8 for my order. It was absolutely beautiful, but the taste wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. The peaches just had kind of a fake flavor like maybe a weird preservative taste? Didn't expect that since there's actual peach chunks. Overall wasn't bad I think I'd need to order something different next time! The matcha itself was really good! read more
