We got the bun Bo hue which was decent and could've used more flavor. The beef pho was definitely on point 10/10. My sister and brother in law also had some of the snails which they said was good. I'm not a big fan of Snails so passed it up. We also got the wings which was okay, could've used more sauce on there. The service was quick and they were all nice. I ordered Bun Bo Hue (beef udon VN style) and it was very good. The broth was tasty not salty and the beef and other contents were plenty. I also ordered summer rolls. The shrimps and meat were fresh and the veggies inside are legit. Not just lettuce and carrots! It's pricey but it's so expensive to eat out anywhere. As someone who has gone to 24 Kapiolani gym and always noticed this empty looking lot to the right of the ramp, who would have thought that it would end up becoming the next up and coming food spot for some late night grinds? While you could either park in the lot going towards 24 Kapiolani or Hawaiian Brian's, it's not hard to get to this new food truck area. I was captivated by the cute floral seats that were built and placed in the middle of the lot. Likewise, I knew some day I'd want to finally come down the ramp and try out the food trucks that were here. I recently saw some IG buzz regarding Saigon grill and therefore I took it as my sign from the universe to finally go try it. My friend Hazel and I decided to park in the lot directly and there's a QR scan to pay for parking right there. We looked at the menu and ultimately the prices to expect are $15+^. Something that caught our eye was the escargot and the shaken beef. We went for that because we were hungry AF. The wait was about 15 minutes so we decided to just walk around to see the other food trucks and got pork jowl from a Thai food truck. For a drink, I saw they had a variety of sugar cane drinks! I went for the lychee. After it was ready, the workers were sweet enough to walk to our table to deliver the food. It was warm and aromatic upon opening the boxes. For $25~ for the escargot, they give you a LOT. It was flavorful, savory, and it was a lot to go with the price for it. The shaken beef came with salad and rice; which also tied together so deliciously. The sugar cane drink quenched my thirst and wasn't too sweet. This bright pink food truck is in the parking lot below Hawaiian Brian's and serves up Vietnamese, Lao and Thai food. The prices are pretty expensive for a food truck, but they really do sell things you can't find anywhere else on the island so you're paying for the rarity of the items as well as the quality of it! I really enjoyed the Garlic Butter Snow Crab - perfectly flavored and cooked. I wished it came with a cracker cause it was quite difficult to crack with our hands but it was doable I ordered the Salt & Pepper Escargot for my sister who hasn't been able to find it here for the longest time, and it was easily one of our favorites! The giant prawns were SO big - slightly overboiled in my opinion the flavor was really good especially with the lemon and salt/pepper. You ordered the food, pick a table and they will bring the food to you. They offered a lot of dishes that you can not find in other place. They play very loud music, if you enjoy it, it is good, but some may find the music is too loud. The seafood are not cheap but pretty tasty. The garlic chicken wing is rich in garlic favor, the grill conch is yummy but the portion is very small for $15. The Whelk sea snail require a lot of work because you have to pick every single snail to get the meat! The veggies were very fresh and rice was cooked perfectly. The sauce was what brought everything together. It was pricer for a one person dinner $27 with tip and tax but I did get 3 meals out of it. Expensive but tasty unique foods! They have snails, conch, crab, lobster, scallops, clams, oysters, and more! I spent almost $120 here on the Tamarind snails, combination pho, strawberry cane juice, crab curry. The crab curry was difficult to eat because we had to crack the giant crab ourselves but it was coated in curry so it was really messy and it took a while to eat. The strawberry cane juice was good but also expensive for what you get. None of the portions are small at all so that was good. The flavor of the curry and sauce the snails were in was very tasty. There's lots of covered outdoor seating and a parking lot which I greatly appreciate! There's also music. The wait wasn't terribly long for dinner on a weekday. My husband got the garlic shrimp plate for dinner. Not sure what ingredient was in it, but he said it was so spicy his mouth was "on fire" and ended up throwing most of it away. He had purchased it originally for me, but I can't eat spicy food, and he ended up with instead. To whomever the cook is, please PLEASE inform customers that this particular dish is EXTREMELY SPICY, as my husband said he could not find anything on the sign or menu to indicate it would be, He is now very, very uncomfortable, and has been coughing constantly because of his irritated throat. There's finally a Vietnamese street food place on the Oahu. If you like seafood/sea snails you'll definitely want to check this place out. It is located on Kapiolani boulevard next to 24 hour fitness and palace massage parlor. I really like that they have booth seatings provided. There were so many options to choose from on the menu from noodle soups to seafood to lamb and pork chops. I mainly came for the seafood so I got the escargot with tamarind sauce, escargot with garlic butter, snail in coconut sauce, grilled razor clams, and grilled scallops. The escargot with tamarind sauce was so good I had to go back and order 2 extra orders of it. The razor clam was surprisingly delicious as well, not too chewy and it paired well with the peanuts and green onions. The snail in coconut sauce was so flavorful with lemongrass and coconut milk, it was a perfect balance of flavor and the coconut wasn't too overpowering. I liked the scallop too but I preferred the razor clams way more. They also have sugarcane juice on the menu but I didn't get to try it. Overall 10/10 for food and service. read more

i actually saw this place from a foodie influencer and she said this place was a vietnamese family business and had snails. i have been talking about going back to california at oc & lau to have my snails but now i don't have to. im vietnamese so i was really excited to try this place so my husband, sister and i decided to come here after ice palace. the location is below the ramp of hawaiian bryans, but the parking is kinda tight. it wasn't busy so it was a good sign. they open from 5pm-12am. all of us were kinda indecisive on what to get. there was a lot of options and the menu kept like sliding into another menu which was kinda giving me a headache so sorry if the menu is the same lol. of course we had to get sugarcane, we got 2 lychees and 1 calamansi sugarcanes. it was really refreshing and there were few lychee balls as well, the price was pretty fair i think. then it was time to finally order snails! a lady took our order so we got pork chops, steak, whelk sea snails, grilled conch, grilled oysters and spring rolls. i'll slowly break down on the rating of the food: pork chop (4/5 - well seasoned, not much vegetables), steak (3/5 - rare steak so it wasn't very good to eat, salty but it was a medium portion), whelk sea snails (3.5/5 - pretty small, well seasoned, spicy, small portion for price), grilled conch (3.5/5 - good size, well seasoned, spicy, pretty pricey), grilled oysters (5/5 - not an oyster person but i quite enjoyed it, well flavored, not spicy but had great taste, expensive for few pieces), spring rolls (3.5/5 - it was okay, well flavored, only had like lettuce and noodles, definitely would recommend to give rice papers or wrap it. the workers were very sweet and helpful. i would definitely recommend coming back again, but probably like once a month lol read more
