    Pate

This place is really small but thankfully it was not too busy during lunch time and we were able to get seated right away. Pate appetizer is delicious here. The bread is perfectly toasted and the pate is creamy. Definitely a must try item here. The dry noodles with crispy pork were pretty good. It came with a flavorful side of soup and the noodles were well seasoned. The crispy pork had a nice crunch but the meat was a little dry for my liking. Good spot to get a quick bite with no frills.

Wow looking for some good Pho and we found it at Patè Vietnamese cuisine! The pho is so authentic and the service fantastic! Spring roll is fresh and well rolled and the peanut sauce very good! We'll be back as everyone enjoyed their food. The restaurant is very small so come during non peak hours if they are busy seating limited to 90 minutes! The food is good and comes out quickly and everything you need for your meal is either brought to the table or already on the table. They also validate parking!

Wow, really great I can't wait to go back! The biggest detractor here is parking, but if you find a spot, they generously validate. I tried the Cha Goi Spring Roll, super crunchy but the filling was fair, not made that day. The Banh Mi was exceedingly fresh and the roll was Incredible! The fillings on the Banh Mi were fresh, perfect balanced, lovely! Staff super nice, its micro so carry-out might be easier. I am coming back for that whopping bowl of spicy beef noodles!

    Sunday Pho - just ordered...

Got in just before noon. Perfect timing for Sunday pho. Small restaurant, maybe 12 seats. Attentive service, huge Pho and enjoyed fried rolls. Located in a mini mall you have to really look for it. I'd go back.

Came here around 7pm on a Saturday and waited around 45mins for a party of 7. They share the parking lot (and the restroom) with a bunch of other restaurants, so it gets busy. The shop itself is small and cramped, only seating around 5-6 groups at a time. They have the menu posted up by the door, and the hostess gives you the option of ordering ahead so your food can be ready by the time you're seated. I ordered the egg noodles + wontons and crispy pork belly, dry noodle style. It comes with a side of soup anyhow. The pork belly was juicy and crispy, and the whole dish was rich.

So far, it's one of my favorite pho place. We ordered pho combination and I got spicy beef with a side of summer roll. Every food we order was delicious that I wanted to try some more and maybe switch the noodles up. The service was great and the place was pretty cute.

After a long day of walking and shopping, we were craving something warm and comforting, so we stopped in for a bowl of noodles and broth -- and it was exactly what we needed. The seating area is small with limited spots, but the cozy atmosphere, great vibes, and friendly service more than make up for it. The staff was welcoming and efficient, which made the experience even better. I ordered the Hu Tieu, and I loved how customizable it was. You can choose your meats, noodle type, and whether you want the broth served in the bowl or on the side. I went with the pork combo, egg noodles, dumplings, and the soup on the side. The broth was rich and flavorful -- truly comforting after a long day. The liver was slightly dry but still tasty. They also offer pickled garlic as a condiment, which really elevates the noodles and adds an extra layer of flavor. Overall, we were very happy with our visit. If you're looking for a satisfying bowl of noodles in a cozy spot, this place is definitely worth a try!

    Roasted pork bahn mi

Love getting their bahn mi and bun bo hue! The bread they use for their bahn mi has a nice warm crust and easy to chew at the same time. One thing they can improve with their bahn mi is to stuff it with more fillings for a more mouthful and flavorful bite. The broth for bun bo hue was flavorful and it's a slightly more on the sweeter side. I love garnishing it with the herbs and veggies. As for the spare ribs rice plate, my family found it a bit too salty and slightly sweet for their liking. But the garlic soup that came on the side was good! This place has limited seating so expect to wait for your table especially during lunch hours on a weekend. There is validated parking and the parking lot seems to be full all the time so it might be limited. Note that they charge an automatic 18% gratuity for tables with five or more people.

This cozy restaurant, located across Walmart Keeaumoku, is worth seeking out if you want good Vietnamese food. The atmosphere is very casual and there's a parking lot right outside the restaurant. There's also street parking along Keeaumoku and the side streets. I had a vermicelli bowl with spring rolls and garlic beef. Everything in the bowl was tasty and fresh. The portions were generous and prices very reasonable. We also ordered chicken wings for appetizers and they were flavorful and crispy. Service here was excellent and I'll definitely return to try some of the other delicious sounding items on the menu!

Happy 2026- still on my winter break and enjoying the last days left, time to catch with my foodie friend, we decided upon Vietnamese. I've always wanted to try Pate Vietnamese Cuisine, after seeing all the Yelp photos and Instagram reels. Located at the Samsung Plaza, parking available but it can get busy due to all the businesses in this plaza, parking fee but not too bad with validation. ( I don't remember having to pay for parking but it has been years since I last been here at Samsung Plaza. The restaurant is on the tiny side with about 5-6 tables but very welcoming! I can imagine the crowd and having to wait for a table. We got the last table when I arrived. The only staff working the front, did it all- she is so hardworking and so nice! Looking at the menu booklet, everything looks sounds so good- I wanted to order everything to try, hehe! but that didn't happen, Ended up getting their famous Hu Tieu Mi soup. The combo of roast pork and won ton, with soup broth on the side and a combination Banh Mi Dac Biet. **Hu Tieu Mi is their signature dish and you can also create your own with picking various toppings. This is fun to create but we just went with the combo. I love the spices/condiment tray on the table, especially the fresh chili oil sauce and the fresh pickled garlic! The food comes out and let's eat! The combination banh mi is nicely made and full of toppings. I like the tray of veggies, they don't add this in to the your bowl, I like how it is served separate. The banh mi sandwich was super good & tasty, really enjoyed the banh me! Enjoyed the hu tieu soup, but not a fan of the won ton. The roast pork is nice and crispy! I wish they gave more broth & egg noodles, it came with a small rice bowl size of broth, the soup went so great with the banh mi, not enough broth for the noodles . We both shared the soup/banh mi which was perfect! Overall- we enjoyed our meal. I LOVE Vietnamese food, now I have more Vietnamese spots to choose from, and look forward to visiting again- when it is time for my next banh mi and noodle soup fix! Cheers to a Happy New Year and to all the good eats!!

Tucked away on Keeamoku street, this tiny eatery is worth a stop! This was one time where my wife had been without me and was excited to take me....sheesh...what am I? Chopped liver?!? I mean Patê?!? She isnt a big fan of sandwiches but that's what she gets here...lemongrass chicken banh mi, with a fried egg inside. This is a double win for her...as I don't eat fried eggs...so she doesn't have to share! I was able to try the paté appetizer and the rare steak pho...and both were very good. The appetizer was what I was expecting...rich, creamy, and delicious. The pho was also very good. I was pleasantly surprised when the server asked if I preferred the meat on the side or in the bowl...most restaurants don't ask anymore. We saw a few rice plates come out that looked delicious. We will definitely try that on our next visit Definitely come here if you are not in a hurry. This is a very small restaurant with very few tables. If you are in a hurry, place a take out order...they seemed to go fast while we were eating. Food hack: Among the traditional condiments served in a Vietnamese restaurant, there is a jar of garlic. You want this... You want this...everywhere. Parking is pretty easy as there is an attendant...and the restaurant validates. Enjoy the garlic! I mean Vietnamese food!

Love love love the bun with 2 toppings. My favorite order is the vermicelli with lemongrass chicken and spring rolls. The chicken is delicious, and I always feel like I'm getting an absolute steal with spring rolls included as part of the entree when these days they are often $10+ as a side dish that I can't ever bring myself to splurge on. Their pho is also not bad, with generous portions of meat and veggies. Have only ever done takeout so I can't say much toward service or ambiance, but the food is top notch and reasonably priced. A solid standard part of my regular takeout rotation that I highly recommend to anyone craving Vietnamese!

They are located in the Sam Sung mall and they have a parking lot. You get a parking ticket from the guard and proceed to the parking spaces all along the shops and restaurants and more in the back. When we got there we were the 2nd customer to get in, they only have 5 tables, not very much, 1 table of 6, 2 tables of 4, and 2 table for 2 of you can squeeze in maybe 3 on 1 table of 2. Service is fast we ordered the 1 choice Pho with tendon and a Special combination sandwich. The sandwich came out it looked nice already cut in half and lots of fresh veggies and portion of filling. The bread was crispy on the outside and nice a chewy on the inside. The 1 choice pho was okay the broth was missing the good beef broth that you get from boiling a long time to get that rich deep flavors, it was light and on the sweet side with lots of black pepper. The tendon was tender and good size and portion and the noodle were different and the gave a good about of noodles. They validate parking and the restrooms are located of the restaurant, shared by all tenants in the complex, as you go out of the restaurant you need a key for the restroom and turn right and as you walk up towards the back it is on the right side, clearly marked restrooms. So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

It's tucked…read moreinto a small strip mall, the dining room is no frills and if someone told me it was just another average neighborhood Chinese restaurant, I'd probably believe them. Then the food starts arriving. We ordered way more than we needed and almost everything impressed me. The chow fun was cooked exactly the way I like it. Chewy, smoky and never overcooked. My only complaint was that it leaned a little saltier than I prefer, but it was still very good. The Hainan chicken was the surprise of the meal. Perfectly tender with an incredible ginger sauce that I'd happily put on just about anything. Even the dishes I normally avoid won me over. I've never been much of a lotus root person, but theirs was crisp, savory and honestly delicious. The wontons were another highlight. Since we skipped the noodles, they generously gave us extra wontons instead, which was a really thoughtful touch. What really pushed this place from good to memorable, though, was the staff. We were there with our two and four year old and they couldn't have been kinder. They brought over little toys to keep the kids occupied, checked on us throughout the meal and made us feel genuinely welcome. None of it felt forced. It was just warm, thoughtful hospitality and that's something I always remember long after I've forgotten exactly what I ate. The bathroom situation isn't ideal, you have to use the one outside the restaurant, but that's really my only complaint beyond the slightly salty chow fun. This isn't the place I'd recommend for date night or a long evening out. It's the kind of neighborhood restaurant you walk into expecting very little, then leave thinking, that was a lot better than it had any right to be. We'll definitely be back.

I finally decided why not and came with a friend on new years day lunch time. They were pretty busy already after just 30ish minutes of opening (12pm). Service: We were seated immediately and the service method is pretty simple, you scan the QR code and order through there. My main gripe with this service method is the waitresses aren't as attentive, we couldn't really ask any questions prior to ordering and even after ordering, I had to stand up to the front and wave someone down to pay for our order (as they had a special they had to apply before we paid). We ordered: - Spicy Beef Pancake: 10/10, didn't expect to like this so much as well. Not that spicy to be honest. More like a light spicy flavor. The beef inside was also juicy. - Pan-fried pork bun: 10/10, I was honestly looking forward to this more than the XLB and I was correct to do so. The filling was juicy like a XLB but the dough was also fluffy, doughy, AND has a crispy bottom. Would come back just for this and recommend this 10 times over!! - Sui Mai: 8.8/10; this was like any other good sui mai you may get at different dimsum places. Just pork though, no mushroom or seafood chucks like some other spots. - Steamed Beef with Sticky Rice: 8.1/10. This wasn't bad by any means but just didn't compare to the rest of the items. I didn't like how some parts were super fatty. - Xiao Long Bao: 10/10, the wrapped is thin but thick enough for me to pick up the dumpling without it popping. The soup was flavorful and so was the pork within. They had a special going on which made our XLB be like $5 instead of the $14 it usually is. We were super surprised of how little our bill was give that we were stuffed at the end of the meal and had some leftovers. Even without the discount it would've been a great deal. I heavily recommend, especially the pan-fried pork bun and XLB!!

The third thing that caught my attention, was their adorable mother, helping to slice the cucumbers and top each dish with crushed iso peanuts. Do not forget to order the side of pickled bittermelon....so good!! From beginning to end, this was an incredible experience of all my senses! To see and hear them at work and then to taste the delicious sesame sauce on the fresh pulled noodles....WOW! The soft noodles, the crisp bittermelon, and the savory sauce....super delish! Seriously, go early to place your order. The wait is totally worth it :) Will come back next time to try other menu items.

Shima Dreams of Noodles is a pop-up, located at Fishcake -…read more This place supposedly has a huge following, and people anticipate for the changing menu of various noodle dishes. When we went, the menu focused on udon: +Hot Yamakake Udon with Quail Egg (a special) +Cold Yamakake Udon (a special) +Hot Udon +Cold Udon The special udon dishes are servied with tororo (grated mountain yam), housemade tsukudani (seaweed braised in a sweet Japanese sauce), crispy nori, green onions, and an option to add wasabi. We went for both the hot and cold udon specials - I think it was a consensus that we would have liked to have more noodles in the dish. This is definitely a sweeter dish, with the tororo and the tsukudani. The place already had a long line, and the best way to enjoy would be to dine-in. Note that if you do order a carry-out, the quail egg would not be included. +ordering online is available +changing menu of noodle dishes +popup at Fishcake
