    Pad Thai tofu

Driving up I-75 I found this place on yelp. There were quite a few patron the restaurant so seemed like a good place. Not sure how authentically Vietnamese the food was. It was plentiful.

Kung pao was awesome! Sizzling Rice soup, very tasty but not what we're used to. Green curry was way too sweet. Overall a good experience, service was good and ambiance was great. Since we are only passing this will probably be our only visit ever.

I enjoyed the tofu fried rice (requested no egg) so much that I had it 2 days in a row! The staff was nice and the prices were reasonable. This place looks rough from the outside but is pleasant on the inside.

David was an amazing waiter! Attentive and amazing customer service! Restaurant was clean and decor was beautiful. Food was DELish!

My companion enjoyed the Shaken Beef.

My companion and I are traveling and stopped in town for the night. Craving Asian food, a look on Yelp suggested this place. I am very glad! The restaurant was not crowded, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious!

The decor is nice. Rather eclectic like their food. Stone and bamboo, gold apolstered booths, goldfish, asian spices in jars...

So... if u can get over the fact that the restaurant is named after a city in Vietnam but the food selection is mostly Chinese and Thai... and u are greeted by the sweetest young man with a deep Southern drawl... it's all good. Value - We are a family of 4 and our bill ended up being $45 (tip included)... not bad. Grade - B Ambiance - suceeds in taking u "somewhere" (perhaps all over) the orient. Nice enough. Grade - B Service - Ivan was very friendly and polite. Yes Mam... Yes Sir. Didn't have all the answers but found them out. Grade - A (I would give Ivan an A+ but it took awhile for the food to come out - at 2pm with very few customers present) Food - delicious but I do not believe very authentic. I ordered Pad Thai but it tasted rather Chinese (weird but good). My hubbies ordered bun (Vietnamese) but it too was different than bun we've had in other places. It was delicious though. My sons ordered Mongolian beef and fried pot stickers. Both dishes tasted great. Grade - B

Very bland Thai entrees An example of trying to be all things to all people. The service is really slow. It's not bad, it's just not good

That's not a menu, that's a United Nations meeting. I was fully expecting confusion, chaos, and at least one bad life decision. I was wrong. This place is the real deal. Let's start with the sushi. I ordered the Monster Roll, and honestly, I'd order it again tomorrow without hesitation. Fresh, creative, and actually balanced. Not one of those rolls drowning in sauce trying to cover up a bad situation. This one shows up, does its job, and leaves you thinking about it later. Then came the Chicken Panang Curry. First bite? Lights out. Like, pause mid-conversation and reevaluate your expectations kind of good. Rich, creamy, just the right kick. Now, did every bite hit that same peak? Not quite. It settled into just "really, really good" instead of "life-changing," which is still a win. If I had one gripe, the chicken leaned a little overcooked. But the vegetables were perfect and that sauce absolutely carried the dish. Now the atmosphere... this is where things take a turn. It feels like a sports bar that decided one day it wanted to travel the world. TVs going, energy up, and somehow you're sitting there eating curry and sushi like this is completely normal. It shouldn't work. But it does. And shoutout to my server, Woody. At least that's what the receipt says, and I'm rolling with it. She was fun, efficient, and locked in the whole time. I came in expecting a mess. I left planning my next order. Five stars.

The dining area is not very spacious, but is intimate, which I really like. We enjoyed the background music, which was along the lines of smooth jazz. Our server was super nice and explained in great detail, the specials for the day. We started the meal with several appetizers: Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, and Crab Cheese Wontons. We enjoyed the appetizers along with the sauces (except for the peanut sauce, which I didn't care for). For our entrees, we choose from the Specials menu, which was written on a board for all to see. I ordered the Red Snapper, which was fried and topped with carrots, baby tomatoes, onions, pineapple and cilantro. Had I been listening as I should, I would have asked to not include the pineapples or the loads of cilantro. The dish came with a side of rice. My husband ordered the ribs and chicken entree with noodles. He said the ribs were good; they were so tender that they slide off the bone. Both entrees were tasty; in my case, a quick fix was to push the cilantro and the pineapples to the side and enjoy my fish with just the veggies. To add to our dining experience, the chef and/or owner came out ask if we were enjoying our meal; love the special touch. We finished the meal with an order of ice cream that we shared. I am usually fine with just plain vanilla ice cream, but what we ordered was different and quite delicious. The ice cream is "home-made" and comes in exotic flavors. We choose the mango tea ice cream; it was mouthwatering! Overall, we had an enjoyable dinner and plan to return to sample other menu items. Note, if paying with a card, there is a fee (no fee with cash).
