Took a long time sanding my nails. I must have been there 2 hours between the wait (I had called, but was pretty much a walk in). My nails are lumpy in places and thick at the tips. The skin around my nails is irritated from all the sanding. Won't be back. On the plus side they are very friendly. Didn't appreciate all the pro-trump chatter on the part of the clientele discussing the destruction of the East Wing and excusing it on the basis of Obama converting a tennis court for basketball using only paint, and Jackie Kennedy referbishiing the WH to historical accuracy. (Painting everything gold makes the Oval Office look like hillbilly tacky. ) The entire conversation Made me very uncomfortable and should have been shut down by the manager as inappropriate for a private business. read more

Saigon Nails is the only place that can make a gel manicure last 3 weeks for me. Most of the time, gel manicures only last 10 days. I'm a flower designer and my nails are always exposed to my water and constantly being used. The gel protects my nails from tearing off because they get so weak when they are natural. Everyone here is so nice and they become invested in you as a person, unlike other salons that just take your money and shove you out the door. I've never felt rushed here and I always leave feeling relaxed. The gel manicure is a bit more than I was used to paying from when I still lived in my hometown. But the gel manicure lasts and lasts. The quality and service makes the price well worth it. As long as I live in Fredericksburg, I will come here to get my gel manicures. Also call ahead and make your appointment! They don't typically take walk ins and that's so they can give their clients a better experience. read more

I live in Seattle, but when I visit my hometown of Fredericksburg I have to get my nails done at Saigon. The employees are SO friendly and they do a great job. I've been here twice before being in weddings, and they took their time and made sure the mani/pedis were top notch. The last time my mom, who is diabetic, came with me, and they took extra special care of her delicate feet. It was also the first time she had ever had a pedicure, and they wanted to make the experience memorable for her. They gave her an extra long leg/foot massage and even gave her the spa clay for the price of the regular pedicure. I know she was nervous about her first pedicure, and we both really appreciated the extra mile that they went to make sure she was comfortable and satisfied. The employees all have good balance between talking to you and letting you relax. The shop is clean and they have a lot of colors to choose from. The prices are a bit higher than what I'm used to, but you definitely get what you pay for at Saigon! read more

BUT I came in to get my nails taken off, was advise not to by the technition so I got a fill instead (even though it was a really old set) I also asked for a pedicure. I was rushing to find a place that wasn't busy and could take me in on a weekend and they took me and scheduled me quickly.. Very nice people!!! I got a pedicure done and mani w gel! my pedicure wasn't as i expected because at salon i usually go to they do so much more to my feet.. here i got my cuticles burnt while i was alone waiting for someone i spent about 5 mins in extreme pain.. because they used a chemical or something they weren't suppose to use on me (because that's what i overheard them yelling).. after they put my feet in water it was okay but still painful. While they were painting my nails the light they use for the gel nails was off but that's their job to notice and i didn't notice until the second coat but they said it was fine... i wasn't happy about how the nails turned out on my feet or hands. they only lasted me A WEEK and they usually last me 3-4 weeks at my other salon.. i'm just disappointed because now my cuticles on my feet are a dark brown due to the stuff i got burnt with and i paid $85 (never have paid that much for a little amount of work done) and i left a $20 tip.. but i overall just got bad luck w that experience read more
