My wife and I loved this place. Super authentic Chinese hot pot experience. If you like Szechuan food you'd love their broth. You can order 1 or two flavors of the broth which they'll give a bowl with a divider. Disclaimer* hot pot is a rather communal experience so you'll be cooking out of the same pot but it's all about the experience of enjoying your food and conversation together. You can also ask the server for recommendations on what sauce to make at the sauce bar because your sauce can make or break your experience as well haha. At .35 cents per skewer it was honestly a great deal and we spent less than when we go to other local hot pot places that have all you can eat options. They've got a rewards program and a huge drink menu as well. I got their passion fruit refresher with popping yogurt boba and it was delightful! We're definitely adding this to our list of hot pot places in Orlando area.

This was one of the best hot pot places I've been to in Orlando. The food tasted well and the price was reasonable. They had a good amount of options. Only wish they were labeled better. Definitely prefer this over an All you can eat!

Really cool and new concept to eat hotpot in Orlando. The restaurant is clean and fun decorations, has a lot of space for seatings as well. They have selections of broth, and you can select the spicy level (mild is pretty spicy too imo). Lots of sticks options (meats/ veggies/ fish balls) and you can order more on the menu too. 35 cents per stick! Services were good, they came to refill the broth couple times, and the check out was quick. No wait when we entered the restaurant

Oh man, this place was definitely a great experience. I am so happy they finally brought this type of dinning here. Some of my favorite items are the cilantro and beef. I definitely liked the mushroom broth and the ramen. It turned out amazing. I did try the buttery beef broth too. It was spicy so please be prepared for the spice.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture of their skewer fridge nor the food as it was that good! This place is a Chinese hotpot that is semi-self serve. You pay for the broth options (which were all I believe 14.99-16-99) and the meat and veggie skewers (which is .35 per skewer and 2.99 for each plate of noodles, veggies, or dumplings -these are all store in the fridge and can choose at your own pace). They also have special meat options on their menu as well as hot items like glass noodles, chicken feet, etc (those menu items were around 9.99 each) They also have a self-serve sauce station at 3.99 per person but I honestly think the broth flavors the meats enough! It is a little bit of a learning curve having to choose meats in the fridge and cooking them on your own and making sure everyone's sticks don't tangle. However, once you get the hang of it, it was super fun and tasty! The servers mainly spoke limited English but can understand so it wasn't an issue personally for us. They walked by and kept an eye on our broth levels and making sure we didn't need a water refill. The restaurant itself has plenty of space! I never felt like I was right by a person or having to squeeze through. Overall, would definitely come back here! Their pickled pork and mushroom beef skewers were AMAZING! I would also recommend their House Special Beef that you mix with an egg yolk before cooking, so super tender and takes the flavor of the broth well! YUM!

Absolutely love Ma Lu Bian Bian! Located in the West Colonial Chinatown Plaza. Tons of parking. Upon walking up to the restaurant, I knew I was in for something big. The restaurant was bright, open, clean, fun, and had an overall really nice vibe. I knew my meal was going to be amazing! Service was phenomenal! They are very engaging and helpful. They appear to be happy to be there which makes all the difference in the world. The menu options were plentiful. Definitely something for everyone to love. I opted for a half butter and half spicy base. This was awesome to be able to try two different bases. They offer a large variety of skewers to choose from and the cool part they are all just $0.35 each. Take as much or as little as you want. I loved the variety and quality of all the meats, soup base, sauces, and noodles. Ask your server to guide you with making their signature house dipping sauce. Its so good and goes with everything. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious! Definitely my new go to for probably all of 2025

Cool looking place with awesome decor, but missed the mark on service and overall. We tried a few items including the butter broth which was tasty and had a very good kick, but it was very greasy and we ended up switching it for the chicken broth. Not much was explained to us, and although my dining partner and I have both had hot pot many times, before, the whole process here seemed confusing and awkward. We were not told how to adjust the heat (it's below the table) and the setting was so high it was boiling over. We had to ask for spoons and were given plastic spoons. Also, we were not given proper bowls, just the same tiny rectangular ones from the sauce bar that held maybe 1/2 cup, which made eating the noodles difficult. The ladles had a cage and were awkward and cumbersome to use. I did enjoy the variety of skewers and different add ons available in the self serve fridges. The idea is cool, and the options are really great, but this missed the mark for us.

Great flavor soup bases! Skewer options that are different than your typical hot pot place in Orlando. The shaved short rib meat is very good and has nice marbling. Authentic taste.

Lots of Sichuan cuisine options as well as some soup dumplings and unique cold appetizer dishes. We started with spicy chicken gizzards. Sliced thin and has a nice chewy texture, this app is refreshing and tasted great. Not super spicy which was perfect for me. Then we ordered the tea smoked duck. Nice big portion of duck with plenty of meat, fat and bone ratio. The smokey flavor is brought out in the meat and it was savory but not overly salty. The braised beef tendon casserole came out piping hot. Tendon was tender and easy to eat. Lots of rice vermicelli in it. Plenty of parking in the lot outside and conveniently located in the Chinatown Plaza.

The key test of the authenticity is how well they can do Dan Dan Noodles and they did very well with this classic dish-subtle flavors, the right amount of Sichuan pepper as well. Good dumplings and cold noodles, too. The space is small, no-frills, and I would guess much of their business is done in take-away as well. However, there is enough room to dine there in comfort and the staff is prompt plus also seems truly interested in their customers enjoying their food. I highly recommend it for casual Chinese right in the heart of Orlando's little Chinatown plaza.

Besides that I really loved the chee cheong fun with xo sauce and the fried shrimp balls. Maybe because we went on a Monday they didn't do the dim sum carts which I love. But then again, the restaurant isn't too big so I feel like they usually don't do the carts. But this is a way to ensure all the food you're getting is fresh though! I do wish the dim sum menu was a little more varied. I feel like a few staples that I normally gravitate towards weren't there. But there was still enough to have a good filling meal.

This is the kind of spot that you KNOW is gonna be amazing due to the ambiance - kinda grungy (respectfully), photos of the food on an illuminated board, notes written on the wall on paper that has become yellowed with time. My favorite dishes here are the sesame beef, house pan fried noodles, and veggie egg foo young. Oh and the mushu pork is damn good too, especially their plum sauce. My one wish is that they made honey walnut shrimp! That's a favorite dish of mine which is apparently hard to find around Orlando.
