I swear, these last few days of rainstorms have made me a pho-craving beast! :& Sooo, I went to get an oil change at the shop in the same strip and I figured that since it was lunch time, why not grab some more pho? (2x in 3 days! lol) For 11 AM on a Friday, it was not busy at all. I got seated immediately and right away a water + lemon was placed by my side. The staff was really friendly & they even turned on the flat screen so we could see the Obama speech. :] I ordered the #2 and, I kid you not, it was served to me almost as quickly as I handed over the menu. :p (Good thing too because my stomach was growling like no one's business. lol) I loaded my soup up with the herbs. I also got the spring rolls and they were FANTASTIC -- I loved the peanut sauce and the perfect level of stickiness of the wrapper. Pricing was fair. ~$6-7 a bowl. Also for future reference, they charge a 50 cent take out fee. And bring some cash because there is a $15 MIN credit card charge. Pooooots. Also I had a teeny problem with the fact that their family friends came in &&kinda distracted them ("Long time no seeee." Talk talk talk. "oh yeaaaah". Chat chat chat.) after I was served -- and they didn't remember to refill my water til I placed it OBVIOUSLY at the edge of my table. (Imagine me picking up my water, chewing some ice and then plunking it down a little harder than usual to get some attn. XP) All in all, I will be back. I love Pho! And I have only had good 2 Pho locations in my life and now that I've eaten from here This will be in my top 3. The Thai Boba tea is sweet and refreshing and I love how they put the whip cream on top. This will be my new favorite place to go eat Pho. Thank you!! read more

Cold, cloudy, rainy day? Sounds like "pho-weather.." Well.. to me.. everyday is pho-weather. But I was at work the other day.. and coworkers and I had a massive pho craving due to the pho-weather. When asked where a good pho restaurant is in the area.. they said Saigon Noodle House.. So.. we went.. Found this place by complete accident. Yes, we have been on a continuous mission to try every pho restaurant in the temecula/ murrieta area, but for some reason we didn't know about this place. First thing that we encountered in this restaurant was a funky smell. It was something of a cross between nuoc mam (fish sauce) and dirty rag. The smell was so overwhelming that we considered leaving. We stayed however and ordered. Here are my qualms about pho in the area: For one thing they charge WAY too much. Pho is not supposed to be $7 or $8 a bowl, when its a standard sized bowl. Seriously, if you go into Chinatown or Westminster, pho that size is about $4, no more than $5. The pho xe lua (which literally translates into pho "train" because of the massive size of the bowl) usually costs around $7. So for me, seeing that a small bowl of pho is $7 bucks is literally highway robbery, considering that this stuff is made by the vat... cheaply. Secondly, pho beef broth should have a certain taste to it, almost a licorice-y taste. This broth was ok; I could taste that they mixed it in with the chicken broth, which is fine, but really, the beef broth has more of that cow marrow taste, which this one didn't. What saves this place for me is that they people were super, super nice. They were real pleasant and got our food out real fast. I don't know if we'll be back, because as you can see from my reviews of other pho places, my taste for pho is real picky. But if for whatever reason we happen to be on Jefferson and don't feel like driving around elsewhere for pho, then this place can be an ok choice. read more

Awful customer service! Went in one day and asked for pho soup and when I got back to my car I realized I'd accidentally ordered the wrong thing. So I went back in to order the right thing and the owner of the place started yelling at me in front of all of the other customers. He assumed that I was trying to exchange the wrong order for the right order. And started yelling and accusing me of trying to get free food in front of multiple other customers. I felt so embarrassed I got my food and left the restaurant crying! Also all of the employees that I've interacted with there have awful customer service when they give me my food they didn't even say have a good day they wouldn't even look at me. read more

been wanting to try this place out but after todays visit we won't be returning. the lady is extremely rude and only nice and pleasant to certain customers. she throws the menu down on the table and walks away. we asked for a straw and she walks away and comes back and tosses it on the table. I dont know what her problem is. the food is mediocre. pho lacked noodles and meats that are usually in a pho dac biet werent there. we also ordered grilled pork spring rolls and that was good. but because of how rude that lady is we won't be going back. Went here w my parents cause they live out here. Been here before. I think the portions got smaller... Had to order another side of noodles. The side looked like what was in my bowl. Found a hair in my extra noodles. Got a new bowl quick. The broth was good. Spring rolls good. The norm. Service was on top of it. But it was really slow. Pho was $7.95. Ok people of temecula, or anywhere. If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese place this is the one!! The service is seriously super fast the food is authentic and very good served within minutes after you order. We tried the egg roles and the egg noddle seafood soup! Those were both amazing! I wish my soup had a bit more shrimp but it was still great. The Thai tea was also very authentic and flavorful. The restaurant is really big so it looks empty but fills up quick. It's the first time eating here and they have the best Viet meatballs I've ever had! I ordered the #1 which had a pretty good broth. My gf ordered the #62 which was a salad with pork sausage and shrimp cake. We also ordered spring rolls and I had the young coconut. The other pho place we used to go to in Temecula closed down so it was nice to find this one. Nice and quick service. I saw Yelpers posting about the bahn mi here so I'll definitely be trying it in the future. Great to have a new regular pho place to replace the old one. I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday, which also happened to be Chinese New Year. The place was moderately crowded, but it didn't matter, because I was seated promptly. In a very short period of time, my table was set and an older gentleman (owner? brother-in-law?) came over and took my order. When I was a bit indecisive, he suggested that I try one of their most popular noodle soups (Pho), which is my most frequently eaten Vietnamese dish when I am home in the Boston area. The soup was served quickly and was very typical. Nice to know that Vietnamese noodle soups are the same on both coasts, so that validates their authenticity. The dish came with the usual complement of bean sprouts and basil, which one adds to the bowl to supplement the noodles and meat. Also came with two slices of hot green pepper - caution is advised, as they were hot! Overall, very satisfied. Price paid was very reasonable, and I can't wait to return to try some of the more unique dishes. read more

No Banh Xeo and it's on the menu. That's why I decided to come here for the first time to quench my craving for some Banh Xeo. Last time and first time I ever had Banh Xeo was when I lived in San Jose or Nor Cal years ago. It wasn't enough to turn me away so I ordered the tofu and veggies with steamed rice. Excellent, not too salty, just right. Killed it all except for the fungi. I couldn't resist trying the Banh Mi. That was also good but a little spicy with the peppers. My spring rolls were pretty much the best you can get around here locally ! But I will admit they were fresh and full ! Most places stuff then with too many noodles and old lettuce but these were freshly wrapped goi cuon! Shrimp & pork spring rolls ! Understandably, it was busy at the 12 o'clock lunch hour so I can understand the single man running around like crazy , not very polite but nevertheless got my order right and gave me what I asked for ! The lettuce they gave me for my spring rolls were fresh Romain and not scraps of old Ice berg like at other places ! Out of all the pho places in temecula Murrieta I've got to say this is the best around town ! And I've lived here my whole life ! This is the restaurant to come to after going to Salvation Army and arguing for several hours on whether or not you should buy a $430 dresser and mirror on sale for $200. This place will resolve all your financial differences because the taste will make you both stop talking and just eat. We went in on a Tuesday evening and the place was deserted. Ordered their vegetarian pho and number 91 (can't pronounce the name) and forgot that we were arguing. I can forgive my husband for not buying a wonderful sale item or appreciating my fine taste in furniture because he suggested we eat here. The vegan broth contains no MSG, though I'm very suspicious for how good it tastes. It's a decent size for being a $8-$9 pho, and comes with plenty of broccoli, carrots, Bok choy, and tofu. The broth was completely savory, not sweet. Number 91 could use some more salt, though. I'm just wondering why there aren't hordes of people streaming through the doors because we will definitely come back! read more

I got the Pho with rare steak (those little shavings of beef that are raw, but cooked instantly in the boiling pho). It was a little on the greasy side for me. When the bowl came I could see the grease floating, which isn't appetizing. There was 0 vegetables in the pho which was kind of sad. The only Vegatables I had was the stand mint left and bowl of bean sprouts that they give you on the side. I was kind of sad that there was no green or regular onion cuts in the soup. The Thai Ice Tea was decent which is probably why I'm giving it 3 stars. They have it already made in their fridge in the front, which is 1/2 cup thai ice tea, then they add ice MILK (Half and Half is 25 cents more) and ice and boba. So Its a good health portion of Thai Ice Tea. Not the best, but good enough for $3. Total cost for Pho and Tea was 11.50 so not bad for lunch. read more

I also wanted the pineapple blended drink without boba and despite my saying no boba and whipped cream okay it came out with boba. I really don't like boba and it cost more. I explained I didn't want boba and that it also cost more and the woman who worked there basically told me it's only $0.50 more and I can take it....okay, thank you. I would have been fine with taking it instead of having them make it over if they would have at least discounted it off the receipt but instead I was given no discount and I left paying for something I didn't want. After a long drive from Houston, Texas, I was craving some Vietnamese food. this hit the spot. The employees were nice and friendly. they seemed to know most of their customers.
