I ordered boat noodles, Lao style papaya salad (som-tum), kawneaw-mooping. The boat noodles were good, but no tripe included. Very thick and potent. Flavors were good. They have spice options and also have a spice rack if you need more spice. The som-tum most likely comes Thai style but I requested Lao style which they accommodated to. I got the spiciest level but it wasn't that spicy to me. The pork skewers that came with sticky rice was well flavored and had that smoky charred grilled taste which was nice. read more

A friend recommended this place and I was excited to try it. I was particularly intrigued by the menu and tried the pad-see-ew and kawneaw-mooping (pork BBQ with sticky rice). The restaurant was clean but the food wasn't particularly fresh. The restaurant closed at 8:30 but by 8 the staff started visibly closing up (e.g. turning off the TV, lights, closing blinds, etc.) in what we interpreted as a not-so-subtle attempt to get us to pay our tab and leave. The restaurant is very cute and a little small but I didn't mind. We were the only one there as it was close to closing. I ordered the boat noodles and papaya salad. I will have to say, this is one of the best boat noodles I've had. There was so much flavor in the broth and it was too sweet. Wow we've coming here for years. Good Thai restaurants are really a hidden gem. We love this place. Very nice atmosphere and service. My go to for Thai is massuman curry with chicken. I usually will dump my rice bowl into the dish. Its like stew to me. Normally I go 2 on a scale for seasoning out of 5. 2 is just right for me My wife likes pad Thai but went with boat noodles. Finding good Thai food in Temecula has always been a struggle for me. Unfortunately for me, Pearl Thai Noodle House didn't make the cut. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, and the service was great. The young lady that took care of us did everything she could to correct any mistakes as well as make us feel at home. The downfall comes with the food. We ordered the spicy chicken fried rice and the yellow curry with tofu. Both dishes came out relatively quickly, but the yellow curry was made with chicken. No worries, they quickly remade the curry with tofu as we originally requested. When finally got the curry,the rice given with it wash mush and the curry itself was pretty salty. The fried rice looked amazing, but was extremely bland. No spice whatsoever. Thankfully they have a thing of spices(like prick nam pla) for the table and we were able to doctor up the fried rice. We wanted to love this place, especially with the service we received, but sadly, we probably won't be back. read more

Located in a small plaza so it's a little easy to miss, but the food here is great! We ordered the pad see eew, pad kee mao, and the red curry. All 3 items tasted great! The noodles had a smoky flavor and great portions. I did wish the pad kee mao was a bit spicier, but you can ask for chili condiments on the side to adjust it to your spice preference. The red curry had a lovely coconut flavor and my husband loved it. You can tell it's family owned and the food is so comforting. Service was quick and our server was friendly. Really excellent flavor, bright, fresh. Papaya salad was full-flavored and crisp. Pad thai was nice and dark, with more flavor than most. The Panang Curry was delicious with plump shrimp, generous and full-flavored, but maybe a little thin/soupy, going through rice fast. The pork noodle soup was excellent -- generous toppings, rich broth, new to me but delicious. Spicy level 1 to 5 was described as Mild/Med/Hot, VeryHot, ThaiHot, and that was pretty spot on. '4' was a hill to climb, plenty hot, and needed no added pepper sauce.. which is a bummer because the four spices on the table all looked pretty good! Absolutely would go back to try more. Based on this restaurant's previous reviews and star ratings, I took a chance on a new Thai restaurant to replace or supplement my favorite place. Boy! Was I surprised! To begin the menu is broad and expansive. I found the usual Thai offerings as well as some of the not-so-popular dishes, that I have eaten in Thailand during visits. The establishment is VERY traditional and family owned, with both Thai and Laotian versions of most of their dishes. Our order consisted of Pad Thai with Chicken, Larb with Pork,Fried Wontons, and Som-Tum Salad. All of the items were packed nicely in plastic containers that resembled lunch boxes packed to the top with goodness! We ordered "Level 3" degree of spice, and they are true to Thai levels so beware, if you cannot handle it. Everything was extremely delicious, reasonably priced, and Pearl Thai Noodle House is now my favorite when it comes to Thai cuisine in close proximity to home. Customer service is perfect! read more

Ordered takeout from Pearl Thai Noodle House last night. We had ordered from here once before, but I forgot to write a review. Yesterday, we ordered fried rice, pad Thai noodles with chicken, and yellow curry with chicken. My husband has picked up our order both times so I have not seen the restaurant interior, but my husband assured me that it is clean, and said that the 3 ladies working yesterday evening were very friendly. My pad Thai was pretty good. It was flavorful and the portion size was more than enough for one person (I probably only ate about 1/3 of it), but I didn't think that it was necessarily any better than other pad Thai noodles I've had at other places. I remember the last time we ordered from here, I had the pad see ewe noodles and thought the same thing...they were good, but not amazing. My husband really liked his curry though. I will have to try more of their dishes and see if there is something I really like, but for now I'll say it's pretty good. read more
