I was craving egg rolls so I came here! They were pretty busy for a weekday evening. Food came out quickly and it was delicious. Only minor complaint is that there wasn't as much pork as I was expecting in the vermicelli bowl. Thanks for the meal!

Good service, stable food quality. I have been eating almost weekly for their Saigon deluxe. I would recommend you to check it out. Easy to find parking and seated quickly. They seem to have so many customers during lunch hours, always full, signaling value and food quality.

My husband and I were in town from Chicago and I was craving pho because it's soup season. I found this place on Yelp and we made our way. It was pretty close to the hotel we were staying at. The place is huge and there are customers non stop. I gave this place a two star review based off service. It took a very long time till someone attended to my husband and I. They also ran out of the spicy beef soup. If it wasn't for the service I'd probably give it 4 stars but the fact we waited a very long time till someone took our order made me rate this spot two stars. The food was good but the portions were pretty small.

We ordered Chicken Pho from here two days in a row because we were sick. This served us well as the pho and noodles were delicious and the herbs fresh.

I dined in on a Saturday evening. There were good number of people, but I got a seat right away. Vietnamese crepe, which is a weekend special was my favorite. Waterfall chicken was really good as well. There was a large chicken piece fried crisp. Unfortunately they didn't had the fried rice. I had to be satisfied with regular rice. Steak and meatball pho was good. I also went for a saigon bobba milk tea for drink. And it was good.

Disappointing and Deceptive. This *was* the sign going into the restaurant, but they were changing it as we left.

We used to like this place a lot, but we have been disappointed the last two times we went. The broth is watered down, not rich like it used to be, the shrimp in the spring rolls were rubbery, and my pho only had one meatball and two pieces of fatty beef. The older lady who brought our water was nice, but service was slow, and to make matters worse, when we went to pay with American Express, which their sign said they took (see photo), the server got snotty and snapped at me, saying "No, we don't. You're wrong." When I showed her her own sign, she said, "Well, we take Mastercard and Visa." Sadly, the food wasn't good enough for the attitude we were served. Oh, and they walked up with a pen as we left to mark out the sign.

You will always be seated quickly & waited on right away. My appetizer go-to is the vegetarian egg rolls (but the regular pork egg rolls are most popular) which come with a nice little plate of pickled veggies. My entree fav is their pho. It's always delicious and never disappoints. It's easy to become a regular here!

This restaurant seems to have gone downhill since I last visited, which is a little disappointing. The food is great, but they really don't provide much protein for how much it costs. My partner also got a rice dish, which had some areas with undercooked rice. The service is generally pretty fast and it's clean inside, so that's pretty nice, but the food definitely disappointed this go-round. Would I still go again? Probably, but I'm also going to be on the hunt for a better Vietnamese spot in the area.

Saigon Noodles is my all time favorite place to go for delicious hearty traditional Vietnamese Pho soup! My family & I love this place! We have been coming here frequently for years! :) They have fast service and super delicious authentic vietnamese cuisine! Saigon Noodles serves mostly Pho Noodle soup, rice dishes, stir fried noodles, Vermicelli Bowls, Banh Mi Sandwiches, & some weekend only specials such as Banh Cuon. They offer a few vegetarian options such as Stir Fried Vegetable with Mushroom in Teriyaki Sauce served with rice. I always crave their super fresh Vietnamese Spring rolls appetizers which are made with shrimp, steamed pork, lettuce, bean sprout, fresh herbs, vermicelli, wrapped in rice paper, served with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. The real star of the show, is the Pho which they currently offer in two different sizes which is the regular and large bowl! The regular bowl seems kind of small to me so I always order the large bowl. Pho is the national dish of Vietnam which is a delicious soup thats amazing for the soul and the body often made with bone broth, rice noodles, and thinly sliced meat (usually beef) served with bean sprouts, fresh herbs, limes, chiles, and other garnishes. Saigon Noodles offers different variations such as steak and meatball pho but if you are feeling adventurous order my favorite: the Saigon Deluxe which is made with Slice of eye round steak, beef meatballs, flank, tripe, and soft tendon which is packed full of flavor! The broth is so rich and comforting!!! I always recommend tasting the broth first and then adding more seasonings because they offer a bunch of condiments and garnishes to flavor your Pho soup to your personal liking such as fish sauce, chili, lime, & Thai basil. To complete your meal, Saigon Noodles has a large delicious variety of beverage selections such as Boba teas, fruit smoothies/fruit teas, milk teas!! For coffee lovers I always recommend ordering my absolute favorite beverage: Vietnamese Iced Coffee With Condensed Milk which has is satisfying sweet but you can still taste the coffee! Saigon Noodles is the best Vietnamese cuisine I have had in town! Definitely try the Pho which is like a warm comforting hug :) in a bowl that is also actually really healthy for you!

Best pho in Madison area. I got pho with tofu. Large portion and very filling. The brown sugar boba had so so much boba inside. I got 30% sweetness and it was perfectly sweetened and delicious.

The texture of the noodle that's achieved by hand pulling cannot be replicated by a machine. This family run restaurant deserves your attention if you love authentic, tasty, and local food. This family restaurant will not disappoint if you're in the mood for noodles, or noodle soup.

It felt like most of the dish was just the noodles, and it was not balanced (ended up not finishing the noodles). Service is very straightforward. You order up front, and they deliver the food to you. After that, you put away your dishes/trash. Very standard noodle shop. Nothing too crazy. We came in at a pretty empty time (near 8pm), so service was not packed. It is a standard restaurant with standard seating options. Standard vibes only.

She was very careful about our allergy concerns and made sure to take care of us (my daughter has a severe fish allergy and needed her ramen free of fish cake & sauce). The Thai boba tea was delicious, too. I discovered that I prefer Thai ice tea better without boba, but I really enjoyed it in this form, as well. I enjoyed the clean and comfortable atmosphere. I was thankful for the interior photograph left by a previous Yelper because the Yelp reviews I read didn't mention that the place had a dine-in an option. The dining space want just accommodating, but lovely, as well.

I'm a bit conflicted about the meal I had. First off, service was great, and the speed the food…read morearrived was perfect. So, absolutely no issues there. For an appetizer, I had the gyoza, and it was perfect. Evenly fried and steamed, even if it was just frozen stuff from the bag like at the Japanese restaurant I used to work at, it was at least prepared with skill. My main entree was the garlic miso ramen. And while each component worked on its own, all of them put together made it seem less as a whole. My biggest issues were the chashu pork which came out a little overcooked. I know the reason, and probably shouldn't hold it against them, but it reminded me a bit of the overcooked pork of my childhood. The other issue was the broth. It was sweet on the backend, which really didn't do it for me the more I've thought about it. I'm not sure if it was the pork broth or the tare. My suspicion lies heavier towards the tare than the broth, but I could be wrong. Either way, I felt that such noticeable sweetness was out of place especially since it did too much to counter the garlic flavor. I suspect it was there to do that for those who don't like a heavy garlic flavor, but then again, if you don't like garlic flavor, you shouldn't be ordering something labeled as garlic on the menu. I will say that marinating the egg was a nice touch and gave it a depth of flavor that typically isn't there from other ramen places I've tried. Otherwise, it was good overall, it just felt like it didn't completely come together with the sweetness of the broth and the pork being a tad overcooked. Still, despite perhaps not looking like it, Zen Ramen was a solid little ramen shop on the East Side and I would not oppose going back to try some of their other ramen bowls. It might not blow your mind if you're a regular ramen connoisseur, but is still a solid spot if you want something affordable and unpretentious.
