I love traveling to new cities and finding new Pho restaurants and this place did not disappoint! I got the fresh shrimp summer roll appetizer, beef brisket pho soup, and a bubble tea. Although it was less crunchy and had a more runny consistency, the peanut dipping sauce for the shrimp rolls was great! They were a little skimpy on the shrimp and consisted mostly of the vegetables and the rice paper that was extremely thick but still tasted great. Since the shrimp was so scarce, I probably wouldn't order again. The beef brisket pho was AMAZING. I got the large dinner portion and truly underestimated the portion size- I have never received SO much meat at any other restaurant (the broth and vermicelli noodles were plentiful as well). You will likely have plenty leftover. I also really enjoyed the self- serve salad bar station. I prefer a lot of jalapeño and lime to flavor my broth so being able to control the amount of the extras was awesome. As for the bubble tea, it was a bit sweet for me but they ask you for your sweetness level and I selected the 100% full sweet option so I'm assuming it was my own fault. Some of the best Pho I have ever had and I've eaten it all over the US. I tried the beef brisket, the pork banh mi sandwich and my son had the chicken and rice dish. The banh mi was fantastic as well and my son enjoyed ate over half of it. His chicken was a little plain, the rice was fantastic, but overall it wasn't a plate I would try again, though he ate it all up. You order at a kiosk and get your drink yourself which I kind of liked. Our food arrived in under 10 minutes of ordering. The owner was the re to check on us and ask us our opinion of the food. When I came here, I was definitely surprised to see that you order by the kiosk and then wait for the food. The time you see a waiter is when they bring the food. Drinks are self serve. The food comes out quickly. I enjoyed the vegan fried pot stickers. The Banh Mi sandwich was okay. I've had Banh Mi sandwiches in cities like Seattle and Atlanta. The difference is noticeable. The pho (rhymes with "duh'') is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, onions and meat. You get to customize with lime wedges, hot chilies, fresh herbs, and your choice of sauces. This is so fun. You can make it exactly how you want the soup. I'm picky about my pho, they have to have really good broth to do it for me, I was surprised by how good their broth was they use a lot of fat in it so it's really rich. It's owned by the same owners as Chang Thai on high street. You order on tablets and they bring the food out to you. We both get the deluxe pho with everything in it and it's pretty good. Absolutely delicious!! I've only ever tried their brisket banh mi and pho bowl, but that's because they are SO good! I've tried pho at a few places, and this one is definitely in my top 3. The service is great and the associates are always helpful and professional. The only reason I took one star off is because I ordered take out the other day, and I got all the way home to realize there were none of the classic vegetables (bean sprouts, cilantro, etc) that usually come with pho. I turned around and went back to the restaurant (I only live about 5 minutes away) and they told me that pick up orders have to add their own vegetables at the salad bar. The serving sizes here are smaller, which goes against everything my Greensburg physique demands, and it's not quite as authentic. Spring rolls aren't very good either, they look like obese banana slugs filled with 5 pounds of rice noodles and 1 piece of shrimp. The hours here are weird too. They close for a bit in the middle of the day on Sundays. You want some reliability in case of emergency cravings. You see, in Greensburg, we keep our places open 24 hours a day 7 days a week because we never know where the hunt will take us and when the hunt will end. That being said, this place serves the only Banh Mi in town, is located conveniently, and the pho is still good eats. I would have given a 5 star review in the past but I just ordered delivery and the bread is is very disappointing. It used to be wonderful French bread and is now a soggy hoagie roll. The steak, sauces and the rest are still good but the roll is very important and I've had better at Subway.
