I've dined here twice now, so I think I can give a pretty solid review. On my first visit, I got the beef brisket pho. The broth, noodles and all the trimmings were delicious, but I felt the three small slices of brisket I got were very stingy. An owner/manager was there and sort of hovered a bit and "Asiansplained" our meal. We didn't really need it and it was slightly off-putting, but that's fine. I'm more concerned with flavor, and everything was good. My wife loved her pork pho and recommended we visit again recently, in spite of my grumbling about wanting more meat. On our second and most recent visit, my wife was again thrilled with her pho. I opted for the pork noodle dish, and I was very satisfied. The serving of protein I felt was much more reasonable and satiating in the noodle dish. I will definitely order again. I noted that they are serving less fresh trimmings with your pho due to wanton "wastage", which I'm certain is a difficult landscape to navigate. My wife didn't need any extras. They have a sign up that says they will be happy to give you more if you ask, which is about all that can be expected of them. So thumbs up for that. The fried dumplings are amazing, we have had them both times and I will probably order them every time. I tried the spring roll last night and was very disappointed. Apart from the delightful peanut sauce, the spring roll was anemic and flavorless. It would have benefitted from the addition of cucumber, or really anything with flavor. The two tiny pieces of shrimp didn't add much to the rice paper/noodles/etc. The kinks aren't quite 100% worked out yet, as I suppose is to be expected. The diet pepsi wasn't working in the fountain so they gave us bottles. That was fine, but I felt bad asking for another after consuming one, even though I'd paid $2 x2 for fountain drinks. In retrospect, I wish I'd asked for a refund on the soda and just drank water. I will add that I appreciate the tablet-based short order approach. I'm not a fan of unnecessary waitstaff, and I think this represents a much needed shift in our American dining approach. Cliffs notes: Always get the dumplings, avoid the spring roll. If you are a hungry guy that needs some protein, opt for a noodle dish over the pho... but it's all tasty. The flavors here are top notch, and I think there's something for everyone (except the kids) if you dig into the menu a bit. I'm deducting a star for the lousy roll and the diet pepsi debacle... but I know what I like here now so I don't expect future disappointments. read more

The restaurant set up is unique with the 'salad' bar, more accurately an herb bar. I liked the fact that I could have as much basil and bean sprouts as I wanted. I also liked the lunch combos with pho and banh mi. As a Vietnamese, the pho broth is a bit too bland for me. First, you walk in & you're bombarded with signs everywhere, one of which that explains this is a self serve type business. You are to look at a menu, put your order in a kiosk & pick a table. The menu was several pages that were not organized at all. The kiosk was REALLY confusing. Most of the items on the menu were not on the kiosk. The food did come out quickly, but I am sure everything we ordered was made prior & either retried or soaked in water to "refreshen" it. I know this because we had ordered 4 orders of the summer rolls (6 total). There is no way they could've made these fresh in the short amount of time that they brought out our order. When I picked up a roll to try it, it was dripping wet as if they soaked it in water. I'm not sure what the wrap was made of, but it wasn't the normal clear rice paper commonly used in summer rolls. A fried chicken roll was soggy with oil, like it had soaked in it, leaving oil on my lips. Neither rolls had any good taste at all. The restaurant was not busy either with one other couple, so I'm not sure why they had no servers or busers, but there were several tables with dirty dishes left by previous customers. I was so disgusted, it was a total waste of money! DO NOT EAT HERE! I am thankful that most other Vietnamese restaurants are of much better quality, but it will be while until I can eat at another one again because of the bad taste that this place has left! read more

Today I finally went over to try out their Pho. I was really pleased. I got there only 10 mins after opening time for an early lunch. I ordered the Shrimp Pho, I didn't realize the serving size was so big. It came out piping hot, I had a ton of noodles, and good amount of shrimp. Had great flavor & helped clear my sinuses since I'm getting over a cold. Having the condiments out was really nice so you could get as much as you want. Nice people & very clean. I travel around the US a lot and try Ban Mai and Pho. I would have to say the Ban Mai has to be in my top 3 picks. All the vegetables were nice and pickled. The Pho was really good also. There is also a condiment bar that has many extras for you pho. Great find in MorganTown WVa. read more

This place was decent. I didn't really care for the tablet ordering with no waiter. I had the beef pho and it was tasty. The vegetables to add were on a bar on ice. They were not that fresh the day I came and ate here. Idk if I would eat here again. Maybe I would come back and try one of the sandwiches my wife told me about. read more

This place is THE spot to get Vietnamese food. Ordering is done at kiosks, so there's little chance of getting a wrong order. Service is prompt, the quality of food is consistently high, and it never disappoints. The place is clean and efficient. The pho here is quite good! They also have a good "lunch deal" that seems like you can get all the time which comes with and sandwich and a healthy portion of the pho! You get a lot of food for what you pay! I would just recommend to add more spices and flavor to the broth, but I guess that's why they have all the extra condiments and what not to add. read more

Had an amazing experience at Saigon Pho Kitchen! After a long day of skiing, a massive bowl of pho was just what we needed! We were immediately greeted by a very kind man who walked us through the seating and ordering process. My boyfriend and I both ordered vegetarian pho and steamed vegetable pot stickers, and we were blown away by the quality and taste of both. The pho portion was massive and was definitely the best either of us have had. The service was incredibly quick, and the restaurant itself had a great and welcoming atmosphere. They give you so much food! I had enough to eat for 3 days and I only ordered 2 things! I got the rice paper veggie rolls and they were alright, but I did notice the guy just pulled them out of plastic wrap and threw them on a plate, soooo I'm assuming they aren't fresh? I love good Bunn however this was not good. I order the BBQ Pork bunn which is recommended on the menu. The pork was loaded into the dish - way too much of a very dry tough tasteless meat type thing. Also the menu description promises an egg roll and lettuce. Not much of the latter and none of the former. The half of dried up pig was dry. This was my first pho experience, so I have nothing to compare the food to. I will say that I ordered a combo 2, that delivered a good size sandwich and pho. My daughter ordered the vegetable pho and fried vegetable dumplings. Everything was phenomenal and so fresh. Fast and friendly service, even though we used cash and had to order at the counter rather than the kiosk. Little bit of a language barrier, but it really was fine. Would highly recommend. I got the regular round-style pho and had some fried dumplings I split with friends. Food was good and portions on the pho were generous, although it was a bit on the pricey side compared to other pho restaurants I've been to. This review is for the vegetarian pho and vegetarian banh mi. I got the combo, which is a nice-sized bowl of pho and a good sized sandwich, for $9.95 (available all day). The pho was flavorful and the sandwich had an interesting mock pork (appeared wheat-based like seitan); the French bread used for the banh mi was very good. There is a salad bar (included in the price) with all the fixings you want for your pho, including cilantro, Thai basil, bean sprouts, fried shallots, fried onions and fried garlic. Delicious vegetarian food (and I suspect the banh mi can be made vegan if you ask them to leave off the mayo) and great price point - Yelp once again led me to a great spot when I was in town for business. read more

Beef noodle soup--delicious. Going to be one of our favorite spots along with Chaang Thai.

The pho was great, the owner is very attentive. I just don't like the feel of this place, it's not personable. You order at an iPad, I assume to drop the cost of having a waitstaff, smart to reduce overhead, but doesn't feel welcoming. The Thai iced tea is good, as was the Thai coffee. The bahn mi tasted good, but the bread was hard as a rock, and it came out cold. Maybe it was just an off day for the cook, but I wasn't very impressed. Place seems kind of like a gimmick, pho has become a trend, and this place is using that to its advantage. Our first experience with Vietnamese. Different, tasty, but not my favorite cuisine. My husband got a giant bowl of broth with a variety of beef products in it - he is a big guy, but he could eat for days, the bowl was so big! I tasted the broth, it was so rich and flavorful! I got a chicken and noodle dish with vegetables. My first experience with fish sauce, and although it was very different it was quite tasty. Portion sizes were good, so I rate it highly for value. Although new to these flavors, we found it all tasty. I wouldn't rush out to eat Vietnamese again, but would go with a friend who wanted to give it a try. read more
