Our services were exactly what we asked for. I got a pedicure with white French, plus a fill-in with a matching white French. Tiffany was AMAZING she made sure every detail was perfect, from the base color to the shape and even the size of the French. She was so thorough, patient, and kind. Beyond that, the massage itself was very poor--mostly aggressive pounding on my legs and feet with his fists, not relaxing or therapeutic at all. The overall cleanliness of the salon was also concerning. I did not see any visible cleaning or sanitizing of tools or stations between customers. The technician did not wear gloves or a mask, which added to the off-putting feeling, especially given the coughing. My friend went to the salon and they charged her 90 dollars for gel nails and when she went to grab her bag she saw roaches by her nail station the people eat and drop food on the floor and the roaches are all over the place. The minute they grow a millimeter past my fingertip -- snip! I've gotten tips for special occasions and the odd mani/pedi here and there but that's about it. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I went with a friend and wanted powder gel. The man insisted I needed to get acrylics because of the length I wanted but I barely wanted them past my natural nail. I finally gave up arguing and said okay. It wasn't worth arguing and I figured I'd give acrylics a shot. The shape and design were actually okay but the length was insanely long. I explained several times that I wanted them shorter and again, eventually gave up because each time it was like he took a millimeter off and I only have so much patience. Three of the nails weren't properly adhered and had a huge gap between the acrylic and my nail. It's a miracle I didn't end up with a fungus. My friend had the same experience but decided to go back for a fill-in with another person. Her nails were even worse. The shapes weren't symmetrical, the edges were oddly rough, just all around bad. I went elsewhere to have my nails removed and found out that this place used MMA instead of EMA which is illegal. It took forever to remove them since it doesn't soak off as easily as EMA I'm amazed this place has as much business as they do with how terrible their work is. read more

And my eyebrows done by another lady, I did not get her name but still a nice job done. Beyond disappointed. My teenage daughters and I have been customers for 6 years. I have left the last few months dissatisfied with the nail art, but would still go out of loyalty. I knew Saigon Spa would be dialed in for safety. Before COVID I always enjoyed their spa because it's big, airy, clean and modern. They have dividers up between salon cheers and like airlines, they block the seat between customers. No one will ever be seated next to you during your mani. As soon as you walk in there's a temperature check, then you sign in w name, phone number on a tablet that is also covered. You check off and sign your name that you acknowledge your responsibility in choosing the services and that as a customer we are not experiencing symptoms. That the salon is taking precautions and not liable. Once you sign in you meet your manicurist and they give you a second temperature check. Everything is CLEAN. It feels clean. There are plastic panels up between you and the staff at the foots spas and at the mani tables. Same goes to separate customers, along w the seats kept empty so no one is sitting next tp you. I haven't been here in years because I always felt like it was not as clean as a nail place should be and a lot of the people who work there weren't very personable. Sorry to see that hasn't changed at all. I went because I had a gift certificate and figured why not give it another chance. The pedicure itself was't bad but the polish work was sloppy, there was polish on my skin on more than one toe which was not cleaned up and he forgot to put a top coat on. The manicure was a gel polish color. Now I have been getting color gel for YEARS. I have never had a nail tech file my nails AFTER they finished polishing. The gel color and top coat is supposed to seal the nails so they last longer. By filing them after he essentially took that seal away so I'm skeptical about how long this color will last. Not to mention that after I left I realized how sharp the corners of my nails are and are definitely not as smooth as they are after I leave other nail places. Now for the cleanliness. I know there's always going to be a little dust around due to the nature of the shop. However if you look you can tell that they don't wipe down anything after they close or before they open. Ever. The polish bottles they use for top coat are so compacted with old polish and glue and whatever else has accumulated on them over the years they look disgusting. When you start to look around you realize they really don't clean up much besides the floors. This was most definitely the last time I would go here. read more

I want to give this place negative stars. First off, the tech cut me... bad. Not only trimmed my cuticle but took out a chunk of skin and flesh. I bled the entire way thru my manicure. She didn't even clean off my nail after putting that green liquid on (and I continued to bleed). She just polished right over it. Fast forward 2 hours and the GEL polish on that finger fell off. Not just peeled.. but like the whole chunk just slid off my nail. I went back that evening and wasn't given much of an apology, just a redo on that one nail.. and she managed to re open my wound again. I asked for a refund for the service and was told they don't do refunds. So fast forward less than 48 hours, and THIS is what my nails look like. Every single coat simply lifted off my nails. I have never in my life had this happen with gel polish. So complaint made to my credit card company for the charges. I was told it was $50 for a pedicure and the manicure. I was charged $52 on my card (without my permission to the increased price) because I paid with a card vs. cash. Last time I checked that was illegal. Do not step foot in this place. I made an appointment for both of us online; it was never confirmed., so I had to call for the appointment. (Why bother offering the online option?) Got there and checked in, indicating EXACTLY which services we wanted. We were escorted to our pedicure chairs, and two "rookies" acted as our technicians. They seemed confused about our wishes and seemed to have great difficulty understanding us. There was a definite communication problem. There were issues about color choices and what type of pedicure we wanted. Why? It was all in writing at check-in! I had to stop my guy and tell him what type of pedicure we wanted and how long the massage should be. No one came over to assist them in their confusion either. The customer should not have to tell the technician what is required in a certain package. Also, a person dealing with the public should be able to understand his/her customers. It was not relaxing AT ALL, and I felt like I wasted my money. The Honey-Cinnamon spa was not cheap! The hot paraffin wax was TOO hot and nearly burned my daughter's feet. My powder manicure was done in a rushed and sloppy manner. Overall, staff seemed cold and uncaring; not welcoming AT ALL. Thanks for ruining our experience, Saigon Nails. I have been going to this nail salon for around 6 years and i've always went to Kevin and i never had any complaints, he was amazing. I requested an appointment with him a few days prior to christmas but his schedule was full so i asked for somebody who was good with designs as i wanted something cute for christmas. The owner said to come back and he'd give me a new set for free. when i went yesterday they told me they were only going to give me 50% off and at the point i was pissed and demanded a refund. The owner then agreed to do nails for free after i expressed i was angry. I did a solid color because how hard could it be to mess that up? It was patchy, the shaping is the worst i've ever had ever (i asked for almond), and Ann accused me of lying about them falling off the whole time, which made me beyond uncomfortable. Went for the first time to get my acrylic nails done for my graduation, and therefore didn't know much about the process of how to get these nails on, so I let the worker do what he thought was best to apply acrylic nails, and I didn't realize that it wasn't normal to have your nails and cuticle lining bleeding and your real nails shaved off to the point where your soft tissue is exposed.
